《The life of a Soldier》Chapter 18 , A conversation

“Im told you found the girl in the dungeons after a group of criminals had mistreated her and her mother.” Shun said catching up to him. “Did you ever wonder how she able to smile so much as if nothing had happened. Sure she is a strong girl but that is not all there is to it.”
“We excrete some of our atoms unknowingly, it makes us feel attracted to other internal users who also exrete these atoms. They infect the body of other people so to speak and makes them feel more connected to you. It works faster than any ussual relationship with people would if you tried to bond. It's part of the reason why your friends are so close to you. It's also the reason why you may feel so comfrotable around me.”
“As for the girl, you were probably emotionally unbalanced the time you met her and were probably excreting a larger amount than normal. It has for lack of a better word 'infected' the mind of the young girl. Her memories from before will be clouded, as if they were from a dream instead of having really happened. She also probably thinks you truly are her father, but that is just speculation.” Shun suddenly revealed to him.
“Our powers can do something like that!?” Dorian asked him astonished. Now that he thought about it, it did make sense. He bonded with his squadmates faster than most people would have. After a couple of months of being squadmates most people wouldn't immmediatly break the law for them. It was a bit unnatural.
Jorin and Lalin, had joined them in their quest for revenge and then decided to stay with them to work on cleaning the underground. It really had nothing to do with them and it was unreal how a priest would suddenly enter into combat with complete strangers. A dedicated priest might have helped them heal their wounds, but would not have actually entered into combat alongside them.

Were these all side effects of the internal magic? Did it really force people around him to do wat he wished them to do. The thought of him forcing his ideals on others was rather upsetting to him. Shun saw the change in demeanor and quickly interjected.
“You are not forcing people to do what they dont want to do if that is what you are thinking.” Shun said looking at him. “They feel connected to you and that is all there is to it, the choices they made they would have made regardless. You just happened to meet a strange group of people whos ideals coincided.”
Shuns words made Dorian feel a bit at ease. Now he could truly foccuse on his training.
A short chapter to explain some things that may have felt forced. Another chapter will be coming later so this does not count as todays chapter!

Due to its consistent ranking as the worst high school in Jingcheng City throughout the year, its qualification to be allowed to run as a school would soon be canceled. Fortunately, for Fang Yuan, the universe activated the Strongest Principal System. As long as the school gained prestige, it could establish buildings, summon famous talents, and redeem various God-level rewards. From the founding of the main teaching building to improving the efficiency of learning; constructing a library, improving overall intelligence, constructing a well-equipped hospital as well as ensuring health and safety standards are followed…the Strongest Principal System made everything possible. In addition, the System provided a concert hall, art gallery, a lake garden, an observatory, a cafeteria with five-star cuisine as well. However, this was not all, the System even allowed Fang Yuan to summon world-famous talents from parallel worlds to teach his students. He could summon Shakespeare to teach Literature, Gauss to teach Mathematics, Einstein for Physics, Curie for Chemistry, Darwin for Biology, and Nightingale for medicine. GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
