An: Sorry for not many chapters but I have been very busy lately hopefully this will change but I'll try to update at least once a week. I know I say this every chapter but I will improve the pace after my exams, that's because I don't want to give you mediocre content since I'm kind of busy right now and rushing it will ruin the story.

Please comment since it motivates me, and please review, if you do review please don't be too harsh since it's just on 12 or 13 chapters and tell me what to improve.

Fenix POV:

I stare intently at the group in front of me, my mind is hazy since I just woke up from my morning nap.

(Yes, I have many naps everyday, I wake up at 5am in the morning for some daily morning exercise then my morning nap which is usually from 9 to 12 which is 3 hours on a non school day.)

I think I had my morning nap 10 to 1 today... In fact I don't think I was supposed to nap at all...

My eyes are slightly blurry since they have to readjust to the lighting since my room is usually dark, I pretty much ran here half asleep with my eyes closed, and just dodged to stuff by sensing my surrounding.

I notice the figure of the young girl in front of the group first- even with my vision blurry I could tell she is really pretty but I am only 9 so I couldn't care less. She is slightly taller than me and has grey darkish skin- the dark elf- Jessica.

Slightly cowering behind her were the rest of my poison class.

Jessica: "You're finally here... Y-Y-You specifically told us to arrive at the adventurers guild at 10am sharp! Why make us wait 3 hours, what's wrong with you?" [Aargh, this kid... Who does he think he is? Just 'cos he's a teacher...]

Jessica tries suppressing her anger but starts nagging Me Immediately...

"Yaaaawn..." It's awful noisy, I remember drifting off after having some magical beast meat, awfully nice for the headmaster to allow me to eat them free, they are usually very expensive and greatly help with improving mana and Ki capacity...

Wait! I know what they're doing... If they think they can recruit me through food-- well they're not wrong, I hope they continue giving me them...

Losing train of thought-- so I was basically eating something nice, fell asleep and then woke up and then came here, my mind is blanking out, why would I write on my schedule that I am to come to the adventurers guild and meet with these scrubs?

Oh I remember now! Haha, how could I forget, I even called them earlier to arrive!

Right now it is 1pm, I have called these bast-*cough* diligent, respectful students to come at 10 so they could get ready, I though they would be more fussy with packing since they're nobles so I took a little nap but I guess they're not too picky.

Jessica:"DONT YOU KNOW EVEN ELVES LIKE ME NEED BEAUTY SLEEP! LOOK AT POOR ALINA! YOU MADE US STAY BACK TILL 1 IN THE MORNING YESTERDAY ANWAY!"

I look at the adorable Arina, the little white messy haired tiger girl who then avoids eye contact and slowly starts edging backwards, trying to signal Jessica to keep her out of this. I look at her eyes and they have sags underneath them.

Pfft, weakling.

She needs to do a gaming marathon or two.

It's getting too noisy so I put my thumb and index finger on my forehead, and massage them while trying to suppress the large pulse and throbbing in my head.

I take out raw Red Tyrant Lizard meat out from my inventory (yeah, all I eat is magical beast meat even with ramen and coffee--- umm coffee).

My inventory is void of time so ingredients can stay fresh. I even adjusted mine, made it extremely larger and even made it so you can put living creatures other than microscopic things like cells, in.

Red Tyrant lizards are Rank A magical beats and are extremely expensive, they can cost up to 1000 gold!

If it wasn't for that headmaster paying for all of it I would just stare at this.

I would sell it...but it's too god damn delicious!

Rank A magical beast meat soothes not only your body but your mind and soul!

Good thing they don't cook for you, I love it raw, especially with ramen, but oh well!

The group is now silent.

Right now, all of them are looking at a adorable yet handsome 9 year old, with red messy hair, golden eyes and white pale like face, eating raw meat, the gigantic arm of a Red Tyrant Lizard!

Soon all that was left was blood and bones.

The adventurers guild was silent.

Fenix eating the beast attracted a lot of unwanted attention.

Nobody made a sound.

Even the employees who were powerful teachers just gaped instead of asking him to clean the mess.

*BUUUURGHP*

Fenix let out a huge roar of a burp and started picking his teeth with a bone, waved his free arm, a gust of warm air appeared and removed all the blood instantly, like he did in the cafeteria.

With the relaxing warm gust of air, calm relaxing music followed.

Anyone who heard the music, felt their bodies unconsciously relax and their soul be soothed.

The music is controlled by Fenix, if he wished he could instantly destroy the souls and kill anyone who's listening to the music.

But everyone right now was in a daze, the warm soothing aura of the music left them in a daze.

They didn't even think such beautiful music was possibles!

Even the best of musicians couldn't compare to the music Fenix can create, even without needing to use an instrument!

If he used an instrument, the affects would be amplified and they all would probably not need to eat for the whole month!

That's how powerful mastering musical healing is, since he is using the wind to create the music the affects are greatly reduced go around a couple of days.

Right now Fenix know 50 percent of all the laws in sound. He has mastered 4 laws so there should be another 4 laws left.

Their are different amounts of laws for different higher affinities, usually their is 5 or 6 but sound is one of the more complex and powerful ones, great to build up a foundation on!

Fenix looked around, he noticed the group already had the quest application sheets and information and made all of them leave hurriedly, while the adventurers and staff were dazed.

Fenix and his entourage were making their way towards the area the caravan they are escorting is.

The group are currently walking towards a man currently waiting for them in the designated spot.

"You should be the new adventurers we got for the journey, heh? You kids better be strong enough to survive, but we've been camping here waiting for at least another party to accept, you kids are either arrogant or naive, pah!"

The man makes a waving motion, signalling them to follow him as he walks towards the area the caravan is waiting for them.

They are currently at the edge of academy island, behind them is a lush forest full of wild life and magical beast.

The caravan itself is in flat land, right next to the ocean.

Fenix and the group look awed, well mainly the group, Fenix clearly looks uninterested by the beautiful scenery.

The caravan consisted of huge tamed magical beasts, this is because of vehicles only being useful in importing between cities, it's useless in long distances such as kingdoms as the vehicles would usually get damaged by magical beasts, they would need to hire engineers and it would still delay the journey since they would take hours to fix.

Also vehicles won't be able to move through some of the more bizarre terrains in the huge continents even if they hover because some terrains have immense heat or low temperatures which engines won't be able to survive through.

They could hire metal affinity mages since they can just manipulate metal and move the vehicles even if they are broken, or reinforce the metal, but that would cost a fortune and is extremely rare since higher affinity mages tend to not care about worldly matters and only care about training, they would also lose a lot of face if they lower themselves yo do a job such as that.

This is why most long journeys use tamed magical beasts that are usually raised from birth. The beasts are usually herbivores or omnivores as their magic usually consists of defensive spells such mana barrier, they are also more peaceful and calm so they're easy to control. They sometimes use carnivore but they are harder to tame and more expensive. They are usually used for protection since they wouldn't carry anything other than their masters and have high esteem.

Magical beasts are extremely clever and majestic herbivores and omnivores are also dangerous and have means of protection that are very fatal.

Normal beasts can also be bizarre with three heads or can be huge but even small magical beasts can usually destroy them. Magical beasts can also communicate using magic and ranked as well.

Rank F: weak or normal beasts such as a mice, cats or dogs.

Rank E: stronger beasts such as gorillas or lions but guns can usually kill them, unlike bizarre or magical beasts.

Rank D: Bizarre normal beasts are deadly but have no magic or Ki. E.g Flying monkeys, giant tigers are some common ones etc.

Bizarre beasts can also be stronger than magical ones because of some features it got evolving in a harsh environment.

E.g. Flying Golden elephant, are golden and they have another trunk which shoots out golden corrosive acids and they have enormous wings which can be used to blast away people and attacks and fly, in fact this bizarre beast can fight ranks Bs. monsters like these are simply too rare and can go for millions of gold, they are usually kept by kings in zoos.

Rank c and above are usually magical beasts, each magical beast has an affinity such as rat magical beasts usually having darkness but there are sometimes hybrids or rare magical beasts with more than one.

Right now the group are staring at huge magical beasts grazing and some water types near the coast of river such as the giant golden eyed hippos, a rank B water type magical beast. There were some huge flying beasts as well.

Just from looking at the variety of strong beasts, they knew that the caravan had experts and are extremely rich.

Fenix:"These must have been expensive." [What a waste of money... Haa]

Fenix continued to ponder for money, maybe one day he could afford magical beast meat and could have enough for training and experimenting.

The middle aged man had a huge change of attitude when he heard the praise of the beasts:

"Haha, actually I tamed some of them myself you know, my names Richard by the way, I'm actually a tamer, I look after beasts well and they always treat me well, if I need to sell them, I sell them in packs so they don't get lonely, I'm also a Rank A adventurer Haha."

Fenix:"I'm Fenix, rank A, glad to here you treat them well, they are usually very intelligent, even more so than average humans so they deserve to be treat well. They can usually transform into humanoid forms when they reach Rank S anyway."

Richard:"I like you kid, glad to hear we share the same opinion. Wait did you say you were rank A?" He looks at Fenix, who nods and then senses him."woah, we have a genius here, with that power you can be a teacher."

Drexel:"Actually Fenix is our teacher, he wanted us to get some experience."

Richard:"that's good, do you know that if you joined the adventurer guild normally, not through the school, you would actually be rank F, it's because you have to gain experience to be really strong." Richard gives them a smile and nods.

The students have gotten even more afraid now, they were first a bit confident with another rank A in their midsts but now they hear they're technically rank F. [We're totally dead...]

The students begin to introduce themselves and their rank.

Richard:"Ok kids ill show you the rest of the crew and we'll set off.]

They arrive at a tent were they see a familiar face.

Professor Drake:"Professor Fenix! Hahaha! What are you doing here?]

Fenix:"Ah so this is where you've been the last couple of days, I heard you were taking on a job, coincidentally I picked the same one!"

Drake:"I actually brought along my grandson, he needs experience and I need some fun, we both share good taste, this mission is probably actually a rank B or A, this Richard is a good haggler hohoho." He pats Richards on the back and laughs merrily.

Richard is not too surprised the know each other, but is more surprised with drakes change in attitude, he usually has a cold demeanour, but now he looks merry and is obviously sucking up to him, Richard heard of drake before and knows drake is far stronger than him, even though they're both A rank they're on totally different leagues. [Why is drake acting like this? He's also sweating... A lot.] Richard just shrugs the questions away.

Richard:"Haha, I guess you already know each, quite surprised knowing how many teachers are in your school but at the same time I'm not, you both are obviously freaks, haha!"

Richard introduces some of his men, they then have dinner.

Whilst having dinner Fenix gets a little drunk.

Fenix:"Hoho, and I then I bring my hands like this and go,

KAMEEE....HAMEE..... HAAAAA!"

......

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

In the distance a huge explosion can be heard.

When they look over at the direction, they find that one of the mountains in the distance, has a huge hole in it.

Richard just keeps staring at the gaping hug hole in the mountain. His jaw was hanging loose to the ground.

He looked nervously at Fenix still stood dancing on the while continuing the story, the students in his class keep laughing along, trying to keep the monster happy and occupied only taking a glance at the mountain, they just prayed they won't end up like it.

Drake: [Take it for the team kids...] he walks over to Richard, still stunned.

Richard:[That's nearly impossible for a Rank A pull off, yet this kid does while he's drunk...]

Drake:"Richard..."

Richard:"Y-Y,Yeah?"

Drake:"Do you know what you did?"

Richard:"I've hired the devil?"

Drake nods:"you've hired the bloody ******* devil, Richard..."

They both pull the gazes away from the hole in the mountain, then look at the bloody red haired Dev--boy dancing on the table, laughing while shooting some little spells, continuing his story.

Drake:"Aye, The bloody ******* devil..."

Richard:"Haaa... This'll be a long journey... A very long journey..."

It's morning, some of the crew are still looking back at the hole at the mountain as they push along the huge magical beasts, on the even more huge water magical beasts.

They have made a sort of building made of metal and attached it on to the biggest giant golden eyed hippo, for a magical beast to have 'giant' in its name, well let's just say it's giant...

The other hippos are attached to the main one with a sort of huge metal bridge which is connected to its harness and are carrying some other cargo and recourses, after all they will be going to a kingdom to sell some of the magical beasts they tame while buying recourses for the whole academy island, which will need a lot of space.

Richard:"This journey will take around a week or two on sea, depending on the weather or any interruptions.... You will have to look after all the beasts and be on the look out for pirates and magical beats. The flying magical beast are only going to be used to escape since they won't be able to carry much, even with their size, their wings are built to only allow themselves to fly. We won't make much of difference since we're tiny."

Fenix goes to the top of the building and walks right to the edge and sits down.

Suddenly a straw hat appears in his hand from his inventory.

He puts the straw hat on and tilts it down slightly.
