Hello everyone, thank you for all of your comments and reviews. I will make sure that I take them into account for the future chapters. I cannot change the past chapters unless I decide to rewrite them. That being said, please enjoy this side story on Sasha.
---------------------
The Lunaria Federation. A land constituted of 8,000 islands interconnected by portals or by bridges. The central island known as Grix is where the capital, Ashumaru, is located.
The island has tall hundred meter trees surrounding its borders with is beach. It is a natural defensive wall of trees that were magically altered to resist fire. These trees are what protects the Lunaria Federation’s many islands from outside assaults mainly from pirates.
Within this island is a castle. It stretched up almost as high as the trees surrounding it. The castle was made of tiered floors. The first floor was the largest while the topmost floor, the 7th floor, was the smallest. All the floors above the first had sloping roofs in between the lower floor and that floor.
These roofs were tiled black while the outside walls of the castle were colored red with more and more golden designs as it travelled up.
On the seventh floor, standing next to a window is a girl who was no more than five years of age. Her name was Sasha Imadul, Princess of the Lunaria Federation.
She had just found a secret. Something she was not supposed to know. She was to be used as a pawn. She had heard her father’s advisors talking about it and she knew that there was no way for her to do anything about it.
She was standing at the window looking towards the only city of the island that surrounded her castle.
She was to take her affinity test that day and she was very excited when she had woken up but then she heard this news and it saddened her. It took away her excitement of the day and she was very disheartened.

“My lady,” said a female attendant that went up to her while bowing, “it is time.”
Sasha merely nodded and walked with her attendant gazing towards whatever distance she could not minding where she would be taken.
Soon, she was brought to a room in the basement. This room was hidden and unknown to everyone except the royal family and their trustees as it was used for a specific affinity test.
An affinity test is usually used to determine what someone’s affinity is but this test does a different one. It is used to give a special affinity. A special affinity is similar to the Legendary affinities as they cannot be tested regularly. A specific device must be used and this does exactly that.
Special affinities are affinities that are unknown or cannot be categorized easily. These affinities are also the most mysterious and the general population does not even know that they exist. If they did, they would merely abhor magic more for these affinities are ‘special’.
Some would say that a Special affinity is the same as a Legendary affinity but they would be wrong. A Special affinity is gained only through one’s bloodline. If one did not have the right bloodline they could not have it.
Sasha already knew what to do as she was left alone in the basement. The testing instrument was an orb placed on a podium with three curving points that nearly touch on the tips. They surrounded the orb in three directions leaving only one open for her hands to be placed onto.
She took the test to see if she did have the affinity for it and she lost her consciousness.
When she woke up she looked at the orb with half open eyes as she struggled to get up and saw a white mass of energy with wings behind it.

It was the symbol for her bloodline Special affinity, Divine Light affinity.
She knew everything about this affinity. It had aspects of the Holy, Spectrum, and Ancient affinities. She had to hide her affinity from others as it was a rule for her family.
She stood up and walked silently away from the room. As she left, the orb dimmed and it looked as if the winged mass was sad as even though it could fly, it was trapped to fly within the confines of its cage. And then the light disappeared and the orb was silent again.

8 124When hell freezes over
An ancient seal has been broken and a forgotten power returns to the world gradually, upsetting the balance of normality. People used to say "I'll do that when hell freezes over" jokingly, but now that saying holds more weight in a changing world where people have to get used to the unusual. Ancient creatures hidden in the earth stir from their slumber of centuries, and humanity is not prepared for their ancient powers. Can the human race of steel and fire stand against the creatures created by the most ancient of powers? Is the human race pure enough to band together and form a closed fist as they did centuries ago? Find out in this adventure where Jacob starts off on his way on a normal day towards his job. "I get the feeling this story might be one of those 'diamonds in the rough'. The premise is quite solid, there's plenty of room to flesh out the characters. It's quite easy to get into and be engaged by at the moment, imo. I don't know where the story will go from here, but it's off to a good start me thinks." - Xenower Attribution: The cave picture in the book cover is made by Stanislav Sedov and is licensed under CC-BY-SA-2.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/ This picture was modified from the original with an overlaid moon and sea picture to be found at https://www.flickr.com/photos/ssedov/26342569905 The photographer has no affiliation to Tschallacka nor can be held accountable for the use of this picture the way as it is here.
8 164Dreams Recounted
Each chapter is a different short story recounting a dream I've had. All dreams except for the spare parts chapters are the ones that have proper through lines and any subtext or takeaways from them is almost entirely up to you, the reader. Expect logic to not be all there. The self contained stories will have wildly different genres and 'storylines' so if the first chapter isn't your cup of tea, try the latest or even a random chapter. 105 Unwritten dreams stockpiled.
8 155World Master
Hey! I once lived on your world back in 2056. But that was a long time ago and there’s probably no records of my existence. Or, maybe, I haven’t even been born yet… …I’m still figuring out of the timelines correspond. Anyways, I was or will be, or whatever you want to call it (maybe I am?), John Pitcher, a resident at St. Jude’s Hospital for the Mentally Ill. I was a computer programmer and my parents had me admitted there because I was convinced that I had been contacted by Set, the Egyptian god of chaos, about creating a world. Well, apparently, I’m something akin to the great times a hundred grandson of over 10 000 gods, and they didn’t want me to live an ordinary, dull life (well, except for the god of normalcy, but he doesn’t count). Set gave me three years to prepare myself. This begins right at the end of those three years. [participant in the NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] I originally had this as part of the prologue, then I realized that it made a better synopsis. Please note: this might seem a bit clunky because I haven't done a lot of writing, and this is supposed to be a kind of prequel to another story that I plan on doing in the future. I will not be fully explaining everything but instead will be explaining things in that other story. This is mainly to help fill in the lore of the world so that people will have at least a basic idea of how things function. Regardless of that, that story won't be written for at least another year, so deal with it. Note: I am using ideas from several different authors in order to make sure that this can be a proper story. You may or may not recognize where I got them. I am not writing a Fanfiction and do not claim these as my own. I will add to a list of titles below as I find myself using those ideas. World Keeper (obviously) The Wandering Inn The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound (not yet, but eventually) A bunch of others that I haven't thought of yet
