The group had entered the dungeon and were going down the stone stairs. The only light source were the small light sources made by fire magic [Light]. With a small flame hovering over their palm, they kept going down the stairs. The place itself smelled like death and it was a little hard to breath here.

After a while they reached down the stairs and Walther said"Be careful. Because If the darkness here, it is hard to see the enemies. So everyone be as quiet as possible and listen."

Everyone nods and they keep walking in a slow pace to be as quiet as possible. Echo who has sharper senses, hears about ten small footsteps from a distance. So he quicken his pace and walks up to Walther and says"Ten small footsteps coming from right side. Goblins?"

"Yes. We can't avoid them, because we need to go right ourselves. So thanks for the heads up."Walther says and Echo nods. He stops until, Skyeza reaches him and the two keep moving on together.

Echos eyes slowly started to adjust to the dark and so distinguished his [Light]. Skyeza didn't need it to see in first place, because apparently wood elves can see in dark.

While slowly walking, someone trips and yells"Oh fuck!"

Immediately a loud screaming could be heard from behind the wall and few people mutter"Shit."

The goblins are now alerted and running towards here.

"Someone throw a [Light Ball] into the ceiling!"Walther orders and Evelyn immediately chants it. A football sized bright ball of light form in her hands and she throws it into the ceiling where it sticks. Echo closes his eyes out of the reflex and opens them after five seconds with a lot blinking following it.

"Draw your weapons! This will be the best place to deal with them."he tells them and everyone draws their weapon except Echo and Skyeza.

"Sky. Can your [Nature Magic] find the goblins here.?"He asks her and she replies."Yes. There are vines here, so it should be possible."

She touches the vine on the wall and chants[Natures Search] while closing her eyes. After a few seconds, she says"About fifty goblins approaching with swords and spears. No archers or hobgoblin."

"Okay."he tells her and then says"Walther. About fifty regular goblins approaching."

"How do you know?!"he asks him while half yelling.

"Magic."he replies.

"Doesn't matter. Everyone take their position and wait!"he orders and everyone takes in their position. The group of footsteps could be heard nearing them and soon they see a punch of green skinned ugly motherfuckers coming out of the darkness. They seem to be about 1,2m tall and have long nose and ears. They are also hairless too. They are wearing some rags and wielding nearly broken weapons.

The goblins don't stop but do the exact opposite and start to run towards them with their weapons in front. The faster goblin jumps into one of the guys face and starts scratching his face, while he is screaming like a bitch.

"And they shit themselves."Echo mutters, while watching the struggle in front of him. Chris just swinging his sword and Jack swinging his great sword too.

'Why the fuck are you using a great sword in a small area. That is just stupid.'

"Use five arrows."Echo tells Sky, who nods and takes out five arrows into her left hand, which also is holding the bow. She draws the first and lets go of it, which she follows with another arrow. With five arrows shot, six goblins are dead, because one managed to penetrate through enough to kill a goblin behind him too.

By now only ten goblins are dead: six by Skyeza and four by Walther. The Heroes have managed to hurt a few, but not killed.

'This is just embarrassing to watch.'

He shakes his head and then jumps up and grabs onto a vine on the ceiling with his left hand. He takes out his card and chants [Wind Slash]. He throws the card, which cuts through a lot of goblins and green blood flies everywhere with the body parts.

Now only fifteen are left and Echo mets go and drops onto the floor.

Five minutes later, the heroes managed to kill the last of the goblins with great struggle. As for injuries, there are seven stab wounds, two scratch marks and one spear in the leg. All of them are being healed by Evelyn and Echo is just leaning against the wall, while facepalming.

"That was just horrible."he says like he is saying that to himself, but says it with loud enough voice for others to hear.

"The fuck did you just say?"says Chris and walks up to him.

"You heard me."he continues"You are an embarrassment as a hero. You shat your pants basically when you saw the goblins coming."

"Fuck you."he says and grabs Echo by his collar.

"Oii. Don't ruin my shirt now."Echo says.

"What fucking right do you have to talk If you didn't do anything?"he says with an angry face.

"I didn't do anything?"he says with an asking tone, before punching Chris into the face, knocking him onto the floor.

"I didn't do anything huh?"

"Echo. Stop it."says Evelyn.

Echo kicks Chris in the chest and says"The twenty something goblins just killed themselves and you learned about them coming just."

He crouches next to him and says"If you can't even fucking face a goblin without sitting yourself, then you shouldn't have accepted the kings request. How the fuck are you going to face the strongest If you Are afraid the weakest. You're just pathetic."

He says and raises.

"Sky. Find out if there are any more goblins on this floor."He tells her and she replies.

"No. I checked it before. All of them are dead."

"Good to know."he turns to the group and says"Well then. We will wait at the stairs to the second floor."

He says and the two walk away through the bloody hallway.

"Fucking asshole."says Chris and gets up while coughing a little.

"You know he is right. That was embarrassing for heroes."says Walther.

"You too?"says Mari.

"I'm a soldier first and your guard second. As a soldier I say it was complete embarrassment. As your guard, I sat that you were below average as a first time."

While they were walking, Skyeza said"Echo. There is also a chest nearby. Shall we go?"

"Yeah sure."he replies.

They turn left and soon reach the chest after a few turns. Echo stops and he stops her too.

"Let me try something."he says and summons a card. He throws it at the chest and immediately it lets out an ugly scream. It grows legs and hands and shoes its sharp teeth.

"[Flame thrower]"he chants and a come of fire comes out of his hand, burning the creature into crisp.

"A fucking mimic."he says and turns to Skyeza, who immediately apologizes"I'm sorry. I didn't know."

"It is fine. Now we know to watch out. Come lets go back."he says and the two walk to the stairway finally.

When they arrive, they see that they have reached there too and Echo says"There are mimics here."

"What? There shouldn't be any here."says Walther.

"Well. Then what else grows legs and arms out a body shaped like a chest and has sharp teeth."Echo says.

"I see. Maybe something has influenced the monster species here. Anyways from now on be careful when seeing a chest. Always attack it with an arrow or any ranged weapon. Not with magic, because it may be a real chest and then it would be destroyed."

"Okay."is replied and the group down."

After hours they had cleared the fifth floor and had made a camp here. They didn't make a fire, because that would be just stupid. Instead they had a [Light Ball] as a light source. They didn't need a source of warm, because it wasn't cold here.

So everyone was sitting somewhere in the small area and talking. Echo was with Skyeza and thinking back to the last four floor.

-Second floor

The had run into a group of goblins and this time there were two hobgoblins. This time Echo just watched with Skyeza and enjoyed the show. Chris was having a hard time with a hobgoblin, which was finally defeated with an help of Mari. The other one was killed by Walther. And the group of goblins were taken out by Harry, who controlled their minds and made them fight each other.

The number of injured was five this time, with Jack being bitten by goblins sharp teeth.

-Third floor

That floor was full of skeletons wielding swords and the fights went faster after they understood to use blunt strikes to destroy the bones and not just slash.

Nobody got injured and so they could move onto the fourth floor.

-Fourth floor

Skeletons again but with shields and pieces of armor on them. The fighting was more difficult and Echo had to fight too after last two floor on doing nothing. He used five cards and martial arts to take out thirteen skeletons out of one hundred.

Seven people were injured with one of them losing an arm, which was quickly attached back by Evelyn. They took an one hour break, until moving to fifth floor.

-Fifth floor.

This floor was full of zombies that moved very slowly and were easy to kill, but their number was in total of five hundred. So Echo mostly just threw his cards regularly and summoned them back, once he ran out. No one got injured because of the vanguard armor and the zombies slow speed. But there were few close calls.

During all of todays fight he has seen that few now can actually fight back. Not shit their pants and stand there.

'Now to wait their reaction when they kill a person and not a monster who only make noises.'

"Echo. Can I...."she says something so quietly that he doesn't hear it. So he just guesses and pulls her under his cloak and holds her there. She blushes and puts her head onto his right shoulder.

"Good night."she says.

"Good night."
