《Battlefront》19-journey and practice

Pragna’s journey went smoothly. On the first night of his journey he started training his fire spirit creation skill.
He checked about the skill
Fire creation skill. By using a fragment of your soul, you will create fire spirits. Host can only create willow of wisp. Very low intelligence. As they consume ingredients they absorb 20% of sustenance and host will absorb 5% rest is wasted. They level up as they absorb high quality ingredients. Costs 100 high mana, 1 soul points to create one willow of wisp.
So pragna started meditating. Closing his eyes he imagined his soul. His soul appeared to him in his conscious as himself, which is made up of flames. Then he imagined trying to remove a small piece from it. Then he felt an unbelievable pain!! It felt like someone is forcefully pulling out all of his nerves from his body! It was not concentrated on part his body, but his entire being felt that pain.
Pragna almost lost consciousness and fell into the ocean. After regaining his composure, he understood why he could only create only such small flame spirit even though he has high stats. It seems extracting a fragment from you soul is an excruciating procedure. But he knew that if he stops now he will never master this skill. So Pragna slowly started extracting a small piece from his soul. HE had to greet his teeth and bare the pain, just by sheer will he kept himself conscious. After many horrifyingly painful hours he was able to extract one soul points worth fragment. He felt really exhausted. Also he felt a small gaping pain coming from his soul. His soul was very slowly recovering. He decided that he will not practice it till he completely recovered himself. As for the extracted fragment, it is floating around in his conscious. He started pouring mana into it and used the fire creation skill on it. A small separate conscious formed inside him. He willed it and it appeared outside his body. It appeared as a red flame that is size of a baseball. Though it looked any other flame ball, Pragna knew it is sentient. He checked its status.

willow of wisp lvl 1Health10mana50
Willow of wisps! They are the lowest fire spirits. Can only follow simple instructions. They will be always loyal to their creator. Can level up and also evolve. Highly susceptible to creator’s emotions.
Pragna ordered it to move to right. It did. He ordered it to move to other sides. It did. Then he ordered to move it in circles, it slowly did. He ordered it to move faster. Its speed increased but the movement became little bit erratic. Pragna got a little bit of understanding about its sentience. Then he created a small ball of flame and told it to attack it. Willow of wisp did not move as though it did not understand the term attack. So Pragna sent it an image of burning things. That worked slightly as it hovered near the flame ball. But still did not attack. Then he thought for some time and sent image of hunger being satisfied to it. It immediately pounced on the flame ball and absorbed into it. Willow of wisp slightly got brighter. Pragna understood that it will perform the commands very well if they are more instinct based like hunger?
He willed it and willow of wisp disappeared. It appeared inside him. Again it appeared as wished for it, this entire procedure of appearance and disappearance did not cost him anything. He made it go some distance from him. Again as he wished, it appeared inside him. So irrespective of distance he can make it appear inside him. But for some reason he could not make it appear further away from him.
After that he started meditating to hasten up the healing process. It took him 3hrs to heal his soul completely. For now he did not want to try the fire soul creation till tomorrow. So he started thinking about how to increase the level of cold flames. So he used cold flames to create cold flame ball. Then he created the hottest flame ball he could. It almost looked like a mini sun. Then he chucked this cold flame ball at it. The cold flame ball was absorbed into the hotter one as though nothing happened. Slowly he decreased the temperature of the ball as he did this exercise. After some time when the colour of the hot flame ball became red he couldn’t continue anymore. He is completely out of mana. He started meditating again. After two hours he is refreshed and ready. So again he continued. He repeated this process till evening of next day. Then he heard a notification

Cold flames lvl 2. Can produce colder flames with less mana cost.
Pragna is happy that he levelled the cold flames. He noticed that he forgot time it almost evening next day. But he is out of mana. Then he remembered the food in satchel. He took out the pouch and he found some odd black crystals in it. He popped into his mouth. It is the most delicious thing he ever tasted. It immediately melted in his mouth. Right after he ate it Pragna felt quite refreshed!
Like this his journey continued. First, practice fire spirit creation. Then heal up his soul and practice cold flames. No matter how much pain and exhaustion he did not stop the practice. On the 7th day of his journey, right after he created his 5th willow of wisp he started meditating,
Meditation lvl 6
soul points +1 permanent
So there is way to increase the soul points! But why does it have to be so painful. No! There must be other ways. I have to find them.
On 20 th day of his journey cold flames hit lvl 10. Cold flames started looking lot darker and also for some reason they felt little bit heavy. After that no matter what he tried it did not work. He even created hotter dark-blue coloured flame ball and tried to use cold flames on it. But nothing worked. So he stopped practicing cold flames and started practicing fire spirit creation skill for the rest of the time.
On the 34th day he saw the coast of the sun-moon island.
