"Wait what?" -Jayson
"Did you not hear me correctly? I said disassemble the weapons you picked." -Knell
"But... how? And why? I don't want to know how to make weapons." -Jayson
"And that's where you are wrong. Let me guess you were just shoving your mana into the weapons to make it fire right?" As Jayson nodded, he continued. "Exactly. You are using the most useless method of using a weapon. With mana weapons not only do you need to understand mana, but you must know how to transfer the mana throughout the entirety of the weapon. To do this, you must know how these weapons are built to know them inside and out. Once you do, you can put your mana to better use and do close to ten times the damage you currently do." -Knell
Wait, so I could have been killing those things in 1 or 2 shots? God I hate myself. At least now I'll be able to learn. And everything he said does make sense... Hmmm, even if this ends up being just a joke from him, at least I'll learn how to make weapons.
"Okay then, I'll guess I'll try." -Jayson
"That's the spirit! Now go on." -Knell
Knell walked away leaving Jayson on the table with his weapons and the kit. Picking it up, he opened it. Inside were several screwdriver looking tools along with a small laser pointer.
Guess I'll learn what these do when I use them.
Picking up the light-weight pistol, he looked around for some screws. While he didn't find any screws, he did find many pitch black orbs placed along the edges of the weapon pieces.

Maybe...
Picking p the laser pointer, he pointed it at one of the small orbs. A small click rang out before the orb fell out. Putting it to the side, he took all of the orbs that surrounded the grip/magazine of the gun.
Once he took the last one off, the outside casing of the grip fell off.
Now that the casing was off, he could see the insides of the weapon. There was a small blue orb which attached itself to many pitch white lines that traveled along the weapon.
Touching one of the lines, he could see that though it was extremely thin, it was quite rigid. Looking back to the blue orb, he sensed some mana coming off of it.
I guess that crystal, or whatever it is, is what allows the weapon to take your mana to use as ammo. Quite useful.
Continuing to look around, he found two screws and another orb. Taking them off, the inside of the grip detached from the rest of the gun.
The grip split into three parts after that. One was the orb and white wires, while the other two parts were different. Looking closely, they seemed to be what held most of the gun together, the foundation. Layered in it were three different fabric like materials.
Not knowing what they were, he put the three pieces to the side and continued on to the next part of the gun.
Taking off the orbs on the upper half, the casing split in two. Putting the pieces to the side he started looking around. Once again, there were many white wires. They each connected to different parts of what seemed to be the barrel before ending.
Again, the upper part split into three parts. The first was the barrel and the white wires, which he left to the side.

The second and third part were the other foundation pieces. Looking at them, he noticed that they were different. These had 5 layers of fabrics. Pushing them to the side, he was rewarded with a pop-up.
You have learned a new skill: Disassembling!
DisassemblingLevel 10% 0/10000DescriptionThe ability to disassemble weapons. With this skill, disassembling weapons will be quicker and easier.
Current: Laser orbs are highlighted. Once a weapon is disassembled, you can tell whether or not there is a problem with it.
Oh, well that's nice. I guess that make disassembling the other two weapons easier. I'm guessing once I assemble the weapon back I'll get an assembling skill. But I'll hold back on that for now. I'll put these parts to the side and start disassembling the other pistol.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few hours later he was done. The process was much the same, the only difference was the amount of fabric layers in the foundation and that the blue orb along with white wires were bigger, probably to deal with the fact that this pistol shot heavy bullets.
Other than a level up in Disassembling which did nothing, nothing else happened.
Welp that was surprisingly easy. But now, the sword. I don't even know if this thing can be disassembled or not.
Looking around, he noticed two screws and one laser orb on the hilt. Taking those off, the weapon split in three. One of the parts was the blade, which he put to the side. The other part was the outermost of the hilt which he also put to the side. Looking back to the last part, he saw his favorite blue orb and white wires.
I wonder what these do. This is a physical weapon so it has no need for mana... unless I can power it up with mana? Oh well. I guess this means I have to start assembling. I'll start with the light pistol since i disassembled it first.
Moving over, he slowly began to put the pieces together. Once or twice, he put the pieces the wrong way, but managed to quickly fix it.
Once he was done, he put the pistol to the side.
You have learned a new skill: Assembling!
AssemblingLevel 10% 0/10000DescriptionThe ability to assemble weapons. With this skill, assembling weapons will be quicker and easier.
Current: Will remember one portion of the assembling process. Can replace outer casings.
Huh, so I can replace some of the parts once this becomes strong enough, that's useful.
Continuing, he put together the heavier pistol and the sword before calling Knell over.
