Van nodded to the priest who spoke some words is some sort of language. “afdsafds fdsafadsdfs fdfdasfdsa fsadfsadfd 10 10 1 01101101100111001101 Great Programmer Fred Amen”
A screen popped out in front of me and i grinned. It was my status screen.
NameWrathRaceHuman(98%)ClassNecromancerlevel1SubclassShaman Necromancerlevel0Hit PointsManaStaminaIntelligence45/4555/55108/1085/8Strength EnduranceCharismaLuck5/89/12 -1 / 37
Van looked at the screen in interest. “Thats good your mana is at 55. Usually the mana is at 10 times the intelligence. So you must get a status boost from something. Go to the local church and get yourself checked out. Bring back the results to me there might be something you can use. Right there are some dungeon porters positions going if you want them. You certainly have the right amount of strength and stamina for the job.”
My father lead me a temple where a Priestess grinned at me. “You must be very excited to get your first viewing young man. Now remember you just got your first class which turns on your traits. So you might suddenly find yourself stronger if you got barbarian warrior and more inclined to want to bash peoples heads in. Each class offers different traits. Plus you have a chance of getting your fathers traits as well. Just remember take it slow.”
The Priestess spoke a spell and a sheet of paper began to glow.

The Priestess swallowed “Thats a lot of titles lets see what your traits are shall we.” My father nodded “Thats great your mother will be proud”
I starred at the dark one ability “I want to get married at Sixteen like my brothers. Whose going to marry someone with the dark one ability and that negative charisma?” My father slapped my head “Its not that bad right.” I looked into the priestess eyes who started to stammer. “Its pretty bad. Your just going to have to suck it up and get rich. Or find a real er”
My father started to laugh “Relax son once you reach choose Mage as your second class you will be swimming in the ladies. Besides your to young to be worrying about that yet.”
The Priestess nodded “Just get a blind girl to marry you. Alright lets go his stare is creeping me out. Lets take a look at his traits.”

The Priestess swallowed “Those are amazing Traits. Really amazing for someone of your age especially the gained traits that can be upgraded. Also that 10 percent mana increase is amazing. Generally speaking it can take a genius mage a year to earn something like that.”
“Lets check out your spells and skill levels. These are spells and skills given to you at given to you at your level. Ok you have three classes of skills Warrior Mage and thief we have to check out your skills one at a time.

The priestess looked at the page in surprise. “Ok I am going to make two copies of these sheets for you. Level 0 means you can not yet use that skill. Null Means it is something you will be able to learn ten times faster than a normal person. That adsorb un dead skills is dangerous be careful. Show one of the sheets i have to Van. Come on I will let you summon a undead to train against. Once you cast the spell it will level up quickly at the start.”
My Father spoke up. “He needs training spells. He is close to level 20 and wants to become a mage.” The priestess nodded “We have training spells here all he has to do is reach level 2 in seven lesser spells. Or level three in three lesser spells. Technically if he had say a fire trait he could train to level five in a lesser fire spell to qualify. The spells are cheap because no one want to learn them”
The priestess ran away and brought me a few sheets of paper. She grinned “I made these myself take a read and let me know what you think.” the writing was massive and there were giant pictures of the body with drawing of energy moving to the hands.

Spell list
Breath of air blows air like someone is breathing hard out of your hand
Condense water creates about a tenth of a cup of water in the users hand
spark creates a small spark of flame might be able to set kindling on fire
Move earth can move a tiny pebble a few centimetres
The priestess nodded “i will get the others for you later just remember keep casting them. It takes about ten thousand casts to master level 1 for normal people. If you have a class like hedgemage you can do in a thousand. Plus the hedgemage can cast the spell for a quarter the cost of a standard person. It should only take you a months to learn the level 1 spells. You should be able to learn the level two level in about six months after that. What class are you?”
I blinked “I am a Necromancer. ” the priestess looked at my chart “I should have known well a necromancer can learn the level 2 spells in about a month.” I blinked “Wait it takes a Hedgemage seven months to learn the second level spells but it takes me a month?”
The priestess shrugged “Necromancers have the same level mana and speed of learning spells as a Mage. Well almost the same a mage might take four weeks to learn what will take a necromancer six. Its a pity i do not have any leech life spells you would learn them faster than a mage”
The priestess grinned “lets try out the lesser summon undead spell shall we. Just reach out and push with your mind. Just give it a try”
I reached out and pushed and then it appeared on the ground.
A small fur ball. It looked like a mouse but my dad abused me of the idea. “Its a gerbil. A small one at that. ”
The priestess nodded “its adorable look its scratching its nose. Whose a cute minion of evil. You are yes you are.”
I felt the Gerbil in my mind and blinked “Ok how long until I have better spells. You know spells that can summon up skeleton warriors?” The priestess shrugged upgrading your lesser undead spell to summon undead will take a while. Normally to reach level 4 will take a week. From level 4 to level seven will take a week a level. From level Seven to level ten each level will take about a month. Once you reach level ten it will chance to summon undead. ”
I swore and the priestess petted the undead gerbil. The priestess blinked as the Gerbil vanished. My father nodded “Are there short cuts?” The priestess nodded “You can not afford them. The skill books needed to learn summon lesser undead cost more than a medium sized farm. Forget about the cost of create undead. Still Van might know of some of the short cuts.”
I swallowed I had struck it rich. The spells might be hard to learn but they seemed to be expensive. My father looked at me and smiled “Your mother is going to be happy.”
