Good. I have been training in my spare time, and doing missions for my mom. Now, my experience bar is big, and will take a long time to fill up with just simple missions. Anyway, I’m about to hit level ten with my dungeon creation skill. It was easy to level it up until level five, from there on it began to go slowly.

Anyway, it’s Sunday again, and I go to the temple. As I walk there, I look in my inventory. The cup noodles that I put there is still there. I take it out. Oh, it’s still piping hot! It seems that the time doesn’t go forward in my inventory. This is useful, I will store some food in here later when I have money.

Anyway, I also got a new skill.

Analyze

Type:Ability

Tier:RareLevel:5 (2,56%)

You have acquired the ability to check your enemies status in a simple way, as well the status of items. Simple analysis available.[/table]

I got this while admiring a cat three days ago. Yeah, lame, I know. The cat was cute though. A-anyway, it’s time to train. But first, I will look around in the temple. I want to see if I find something useful, despite knowing the place all around.

Since I awakened my powers, every time that I walk in the Haiden, I have a strange sensation, as if something was calling me. I enter the Haiden, and look around. I feel the sensation again, but I don’t find anything.

I sight and decide to train a bit with my bokutõ. Although this doesn’t fit the style, since I’m missing the scabbard, I will try a few moves that use only the sword. Holding the bokutõ on my right hand, I switch to a kimono with the set system of my inventory and begin to try a few moves.

Man, I’m really rusty! Sloppy movements all the way. I really have to practice. I keep my intense training, moving as fast as I can, using all the attacks that I can remember from the style that my grandfather taught me.

Due you constant movement, you have gained 1 agility.

In one moment, I make a back step and my foot slam in the ground, and I hear clearly that the ground is hollow. I’m in one of the corners of the Haiden. Now that I think about it, I never got here while training… I walked here before, but never stepped here hard enough to actually feel that the ground is hollow.

I look at the ground and use analyze. The text in front of my eyes surprises me.

Trapdoor: an old trapdoor that just recently revealed itself.

Just recently revealed itself? This isn’t good at all. Anyway, let’s just open this shit. Firstly, I take a towel from my inventory and wipe myself, and then change back to my clothes. I also take my lantern from my inventory, one of the carious useful things that I stored here.

Then, I search for a handle or something that can help me to open the trapdoor. After a few minutes searching I finally found it. It’s very well hidden, disguised as a part of the wooden tiles that form the ground. I open the heavy trapdoor. Argh, so much dust!

Turning on my lantern, I see a long stairway down. Alright, time to go down. I go down the stone stairs. They are well made, and the long corridor down has smooths walls. This is strange. Was this built along with the temple? Did grandpa know about this? If he did, why he didn’t tell me?

Ignoring a lot of my doubts, I keep going down.

……

….

Fucking hell, this stairway is way too long! After a long time, I finally get to the end of the stairs. To this point, I’m feeling extremely cold. If I were to guess, this is so deep that it is surely even under the town, not in some point of the mountain. Anyway, the stairs lead to an enormous underground hall.

I can say that this place is at least two hundred square meters, and around fifty meters tall. To hold the ceiling, three massive red torii were used. And when I say massive I meant that these things are absurdly big. From here, I can see the giant metal boards in them with the wolf kanji on them, like the torii on the surface.

There’s a pathway to the end of the hall, and the place is full of statues. Many, many statues. Hundreds, or even around the thousands, I don’t know. Men and woman, of various outfits from various places around the world and eras. Most of them are dressed like warriors, with light, medium and heavy armors.

Lighting the way with my lantern, I walk the path in the middle of the room. I walk all the way to the end of the way, reaching a small hokora, a small shrine that’s more commonly seen in the streets as a roadside temple. All of them are turned to whatever is in the end of the way, with their hands together and lowered head, as if praying.

Enshrined in there, is a katana. The Saya, or scabbard, is made of black wood with a silver kojiri, or scabbard cap that’s in the tip. Then, I look at the handle. The tsuba, the guard of the katana is modeled after a wolf, is made of a silvery material. Its shine is dulled due the dust over it.

The ito, the wrap around the handle, is black and the samegawa, the material under the ito is made of a white material with a silvery reflex to it. The menuki, the ornament under the ito that’s made to fit the grip of the hand is on the right side of the handle, fit for a right-handed person and is modeled as a silver wolf as well.

The cap of the handle or pummel, the kashira, is made of ornate silvery material. I haven’t seen the blade, but this thing was surely made with a lot of care. The hokora is simple, with two candles in front of the katana’s support. I try to use analyze in the katana.

Unable to analyze. Please, take the weapon before doing so.

There’s an option that I haven’t seen before. I extend my hand with hesitation and grab the scabbard. Immediately, a small and harmless air explosion takes out all the dust from the katana. the two candles lit up with two blue flames that emit a ghostly light.

(Iori): “What the hell…”
