Devlin The Speed Demon versus Jackson The Speed Fighter
Begin! *Bang!*
No time would spend both flashes toward each other landing a kick and punch at the same time, both flying back, as both smile, clearly enjoying it this far, as within a second both were hairs away from each other, kicking and punching faster then the normal eye can see, but they were holding up with each other.
As Devlin flashes multiple sides quickly trying to get Jackson to slip up, Jackson easily keeping up with the speed, flashes right in front of Devlin punching Devlin straight into the face, landing on the ground would make dust rise.
As the dust clears nobody was there, Devil teleported behind Jackson punching Jackson toward the ground, following up with a powerful kick to the stomach as they land on the ground, 'You are finished', as Jackson begins to laugh, 'finished? you wish you finished me this quick'.
As Jackson grabs his leg throwing Devlin in the air as he punches him straight in the face this time almost ten times as fast, making Devlin throw up some blood from the mouth, 'Arghhh!...', Devlin lands not far from Jackson onto the ground, not moving at all.
Jackson not impressed at all walks slowly toward him clearly having a bit of damage taken, looking down upon Devlin, 'You are weak', as he kicks Devlin multiple times, Devlin not moving at all.
Until, The sand starts to move around him, covering his whole body, as Devlin his eyes open, 'You gave me no choice, I have to use this'.
Devlin faster than anything they did before flashes behind Jackson smashing Jackson in the back toward the other side of the arena, before being able to land Devlin caught him straight by the neck from the other side of the arena, smashing his face into the wall of the arena.
Jackson looks up face half-broken, bleeding, and not able to move 'you are a monster!'.
Devlin smashes Jackson to the ground finishing him off.
Winner: Devlin.

But I feel the need to emphasize that a lot of parts are written in improvised comic book format as my primary writing style, and this first book is actually the entry point and starting novel for an entire very vast series I am in the works of developing. Many side characters here will eventually be main characters with there own stories; long or short. But this one particularly will be focused and centralized around Noel. Because of this, I do plan to leave the introduction for side characters as still having a special flow for readers to witness a tad of their background, so keep that in mind after my 'obviously many' rewrites from now and going into the future! Sorry for the troubles! I will improve on my style and implementation of the story!(Although I DO plan to keep parts as 'play style' or rather, comic book style, since I find it easier for certain dialogue instances as well as the fact that the novel is inspired by that 'feeling' you get while reading comic books. This story mainly takes place on an artificial continent where all countries have sent over their respective talents, meaning characters of ALL cultures and ethnic backgrounds will show hints of that in their names. Please don't assume I'm just randomly naming characters names that don't match them. And feel free to talk to me about whatever in my story troubles you - no matter how small! This is one of three stories that I am offering as a test run. If you like it, then I'll choose to continue working on it. I have a whole plot line ready to explore! What can I say, I'm a sucker for rebirth, regression, and transmigration stories. This one is a regression story. The main character get's yeeted back in the past, to where the end began. Read on tortured souls as I do my best to break the weak, and sooth those who don't have a soul to break. I spent some time trying to make a story that explores all the gritty situations a resident of the apocalypse would encounter. Unfortunately, I do struggle with pace. I get just as impatient as you when I can't get to the next bloody encounter. But I despise OP characters, and I really wanna stop and explore the fascinating death of civilization. I write this in hopes of making a main character who get's to be the bad-ass I can't be, without, you know, skipping the good stuff.
