《Fighting for the Lord of Earth》Chapter 13 - Short Lived Celebration

Since it was too dangerous to practice most spells, the Earthlings started to be partially trained by the other orders as well.
The training with members of the Falling Fist focuses on weapons, formations and martial arts. And ever since they started being trained to fight up close with the enemy the Earthlings kept noticing large bruises appearing day after day.
Especially Kohn, who began to worry that the lumps on the back of his head would be permanent since he was on the receiving end of them so often. When he mentioned this to an instructor he started to get black eyes instead.
After nearly slicing off his own foot with an axe in the most ridiculous fashion, Kohn was forced to wear heavy duty manacles whenever they had a lesson with bladed weapons. He thought they took the joke too far when they added a pair of even thicker manacles to his legs, but since no one knew how he managed to throw a spear with his feet they weren’t going to take any chances.
But they were surprised to find out that every order had members that could use magic. Even in the Falling Fist they apparently have members that focus on casting spells upon weapons and armor in order to gain status ailment affects. What they thought was the order for mages turned out to just be for mages that had the aptitude and magic capacity to fly their spaceships, heavy weaponry and other vehicles.
The Order of Whispers only had one member on their Dark Vessel, but he tried to teach them a little too. However, probably because their methods were a closely held secret, his training focused mainly on free movement which closely resembled Earth’s Parkour, but with magic.
For Kohn, anything to do with magic was fascinating so he paid close attention to every lesson. Especially when they saw the Whisper run straight at a wall and then straight up it before clinging to the ceiling like Spider Man.

When he tried to replicate it after his first time seeing it Kohn was laughed at by everyone around him. To Kohn it was nothing, but landing on the back of his head with the rest of his body crashing down on top of him would have been dangerous for anyone else.
After lessons Kohn and the other volunteers tended to walk around to everyone to see if anyone had troubles that they could help with. Thanks to that, they gained a good reputation and people started to share more ideas and pitch in to help out. And after just a couple of weeks into their journey every human that shared the Dark Vessel with the Prince could control mana and use magic.
To celebrate, they were permitted to have a feast.
Even a few casks of some kind of alcoholic beverage were cracked and shared. Though after finding out that it was some kind of blend of a honey-like substance and blood there weren’t too many asking for a second cup.
Kohn would have asked for a second cup, but due to the high alcohol content and his inability to handle any amount he was already drunk. And we’re not talking your normal kind of drunk.
Standing on top of the rows of tables, Kohn was happily revealing his manhood after mysteriously losing his pants. A few of the women were cheering him on as he danced like a buffoon before tackling the man hold the cask of booze.
Between trying to keep the alcohol away from Kohn and failing to prevent him from hugging him the man went red from embarrassment when some women oohed at the kind of relationship he had with Kohn.
“What? Am I not pretty enough for you?” He cried out, generating a series of cackles from the women.

Drunk Kohn ran over to them for moral support. “She didn’t like me,” the male guard became infuriated for being mistaken as a woman “why wouldn’t she like me? Do I not have a great ass?” Kohn asked the laughing women before turning his rear towards them and slapping it hard.
Somehow the situation devolved into women slapping his ass before he whispered horny sweet nothings into their ears. After a few weeks with little physical stimulation a few of the women wanted to take him up on his offers but unfortunately it wasn’t allowed.
Eventually the hour became late and the party started dying down. Some people went to sleep where ever they fell and some managed to drag themselves back to their own beds but for Kohn and the gender mistaken guard they fell asleep in a pile of women that Kohn had been laughing with for hours.
The guard was named Ker, and unlike the women and Kohn, he did not want to sleep in the pile of flesh because it was inappropriate and embarrassing. Unfortunately for him, Kohn was very strong and in his sleeping state kept a firm and unrelenting grasp on his new ‘friend’.

Leete had thought to record the celebration in order to send it to the other ships as encouragement for the trainees. Unfortunately, after the alcohol came out the Earthlings became too rambunctious and the recording would instead serve as entertainment Similar to the Earthlings’ comedy shows that he had seen while on Earth.
When the Prince woke up the next day Leete fully intended to watch the recording again with him as he knew it would be just the thing to lighten his mood.
‘Ever since we picked up these Earthlings the Prince has been smiling more frequently. I hope they stay this happy and free for as long as possible.’
Just when he was about to go get some sleep himself, a proximity warning tone sounded.
“Cast long range sensor spells.”
“Yes High Mage.”
In the center of the command area there was a large black obsidian ball. Through magic it became transparent and showed the fleet’s position in space. A pulse of light left all the ships and slowly went out into space. At nearly the outer edge of their spells range the pulse of light hit an object and illuminated it on the transparent obsidian ball.
The object was highlighted by a member of the command before it was enhanced and the image expanded for all of them to see.
Floating in front of them, the image of white billowing smoke covered all but the top portion of a ship as it traveled through space at a leisure speed.
“Command all ships in the fleet to come to a full stop. Prepare all Phantasms for launch and prepare all long range offensive spells. Issue commands to the armories to dispense weapons allowed for use on Dark Vessels. Set fleet to full alert.” The command staff were rushing to comply with all of his orders, but they were trained and knew what to do. “I will awaken Prince StoneTooth and let him know that the Jzanna have been spotted in our path.”

The Paradox Prophecy
Thousands of years ago, an alliance between the races of Idoras and the mighty dragons, saved the world from destruction. After many years of relative peace, a dark evil emerges. Aalya, a young girl from the small kingdom of Avani, meets the young Prince Alexandar. When chaos reigns on their peaceful home, Aalya and her friends gear up for an adventure that could very well determine the fate of all life in Idoras. I haven't completely fleshed out the prophecy yet but I wanted to include it because it is an important part of the story. I have decided it would be better to spend some time figuring out the world I am creating and work out all the kinks in the story. I have done a lot of editing in the first seven chapters already. For now, updating will be scarce. I will post all of part one once I am happy with what I have written. I will leave what I have up, but please let me know what you think. I do not own the image I used for the cover.
