V3 Chapter 73
"Grk!"
The King of the Wolves audibly cringed as an incredible pain assaulted the beast, its body turning into a '<' form from the impact.
At the same time, Cian couldn't help but grunt in annoyance the moment his shin finally made contact with the wolf’s ribs- so hard! It's as if he was kicking a metal plate. Still, he endured the pain and this time brought his other heel to his opponent's gut.
"Ahhhhh!" he howled, lifting his right foot and aiming the upper side at the wind wolf king’s face, "Soaring Strike!"
Baaaang!!
All that the Wolf King knew next was that it was spinning in the air, its equilibrium completely gone. Then, once again something flashed, and its accursed opponent appeared just above him.
With a loud cry, the obsidian-dyed sword smashed down against the Wolf King’s head and sending the poor beast crashing back on the ground. However, defeating the beast king proved not so easy after all.
Wooosh.
Before the Wind Wolf King’s large body crashed the ground, it’s figure suddenly flipped, stabilizing its balance then suspended itself in the air. Though blood dyed its face, the wound was so shallow it only looks worse. The beast king’s barrier saved it at the last moment.
Crack! Cian clenched his fist, his teeth gritted.
This beast was the most powerful opponent that he had met so far.
Looking at the limping movement of the Wolf King, he couldn't help but sigh in irritation. He was certain that those attacks had an effect, yet it doesn’t seem like it’ll end anytime soon.
It’ll take some time to exhaust all that strength.
My numerous skills are elevating my strength to contend against it, but as expected, these skills are like borrowed strength, and couldn’t be compared to the real things, huh…
It seems like, despite all my effort to weaken it, the odds are still completely against me…
But-
That just makes the meal more satisfying!
A beast-like grin appeared on his face. And deep hunger appeared in his eyes. The attraction of the Wolf King's flesh was becoming too strong, he was losing control of himself.
The moment the Wolf King made a move, Cian immediately opened his Night's Eye and locked onto the Wolf King.
Immediately, the Beast King's form started to fade away in his eye, replaced by a translucent figure with complex lines intersecting from each other like a spider web. It was gleaming with azure light and seemed to be moving. This was the Monster's Magic Veins- the circulation of its magic power. Then, suddenly, a large stream of power surged towards its body, and Cian immediately reacted.
He jumped back like a started rabbit, and it was then that the Wolf King roared- a massive tornado appeared around them, and dashed straight towards him.
Cian gritted his teeth, and waved his hand, summoning ice blue winds howling towards the massive tornado that seemed to suck him. He was certain that once he let his guard down, he would surely be swallowed by it, and be torn apart within its belly full of thousand of blades. Worst, is that it's like a prison, it would be hard to break through it even with his power.

"Haaaaaaaa!!"
Crazy attacks.
Cian sent his own insane-like attacks. The power of the Ice God coursed through his body, his eyes gleamed brightly with an azure light as he summoned the power of the God of Ice he had stolen from Asceius. Though the power cannot yet be compared to the original, with his current buffed form, the power of Ice was enhanced and strengthened by the power of the Demon and Heavenly Fox Bloodline. His magic power exploded, and a radius of one mile was filled with the chilling winds of cold.
Just the wind alone was enough to instantly freeze a powerful B-rank Monster into an ice block.
Fwoooosh! Fowoooosh!
The icy winds exploded and instantly crushed towards where the tornado of blades was at.
The clashed turned into an explosion that caused a massive downburst, destroying everything, and even knocking Cian back. Cian felt the messy burst of wind force striking him, and he flew in the air like a kite with broken strings.
He coughed blood, before he let out a loud scream, and spread his wings wide, trying to stabilize his balance. But suddenly, his instinct warned him of impending danger.
Amidst the messy forces of the wind, a bright azure flash appeared from the corner of his eyes.
"Flash Step!"
Immediately, his figure disappeared and reappeared several yards out. At the same time, from his former position, sharp claws struck, cutting the afterimage he had left behind.
"Gah!?"
Cian thought he had dodged, but he was appalled when he saw blood spurting out from his shoulder to his chest. A shallow claw mark could be seen, though, if not for his scale armor, the claw mark would have dug until his bones.
The Wolf King's eyes gleamed brightly with azure light, and it made a pair of blue arcs in the space before disappearing.
So fast?!
How is this possible?!
Its speed should have been reduced by him- wait, no.
Cian's eyes widened from the sudden realization. Once again, from the corner of his eyes, a bright blue flash appeared. He immediately turned into a streak of lightning that disappeared from his original spot before the terrifying claws once again struck his former position.
"This bastard...! He's using the messy storm wind to move, and appeared in his every blind spot!"
The Wind Walk Spell?
No, it's not just a normal Wind Walk. It was as if it had become the wind itself, hiding its presence in the storm of winds, and attacking from his blind spots.
If it was not because of his [Night's Eye] that could use [Prediction], his Lv2 [Mind's Eye], and his hyper intuition, along with all the skills combined such as Lv3 [Insight], [Evasion], and more passive skills, he would have lost terribly. Torn apart before he could even understand what had happened.
So it can also do something like this?!
So this is the true power of the Wind Wolf King?!
Cian was like walking on a tightrope.
Any mistake would result in his immediate death.
The strong gust of wind even felt as if it was conspiring against him, slowling his movement and speed, and even blowing him, his wings hardly able to maneuver well.

"Damn it! This dying bastard! Don't think you've already won Beast King!!!"
Still, Cian used his skills and [Night's Eye] to the highest efficiency possible in order to save himself, and evade the danger every time. Not only his movement skills coupled with [Flash Step] were quick and agile but now that he had understood how the Beast King moves, all of its attacking routes were already 'spied’ upon by him, allowing him to succeed in evading every time.
“Although your strong and I can’t take your moves straight on, so what? If you can’t hit me what else can you do?”
This time, Cian was the one evading and retreating. His figure flashed by on the dark stormy sky and seemed to slightly casual. He was slowly getting used to the Wolf King's movement, and as they flew around, the stormy wind was also calming down.
Without the stormy winds, let's see what you can still do!
Cian snorted.
Dozens of moves later.
His figure flashed everywhere. His [Night's Eye] kept on locking onto the Wolf King and only defended. But the Wolf King wasn’t dumb, and immediately noticed that its opponent had already seen through its skill, and it was angered even more- humiliated.
There has never been anyone who had seen its skill before dying in its past countless battles.
In the world of storm, it was invincible. But now, someone actually had seen through it...and it didn't even take a long time for the opponent to see through its skill.
“Cursed Blood…!!”
The Wolf King's expression was cold, angry, and its magical power suddenly started to spread rapidly.
Not good!
Cian's expression changed dramatically. He saw through his eye, the Wind Wolf King's magical power suddenly bloomed to a maximum in an instant, congealed in one single place and a dangerous feeling appeared.
AwwooooooohhhhHHHH-!!!!
The beast king howled in rage, and then opened its jaws and once again shot a pillar of swirling wind, sending wind storms in every direction.
What was more terrifying was that massive wind blades would appear next to the wind storm and would even crush mountains. The Wind Wolf King danced around and the range of the wind storm increased to a hundred yards.
Wherever the beast went, that devastating windstorm would follow it.
There was no escape!
However, at this dangerous moment, Cian became calm.
“You can’t just stay down, can’t you!?”
His magical power also exploded from within him.
With his left arm blazing in flames, while his right arm coated with lightning bolts, Cian then brought it together-
“[La Foudre Flamme] Emporte!!”
The flame pillar clad with lightning sparks shot straight towards the pillar of stormy winds and collided.
With a thunderous rumble, the entire sky shook.
The extremely massive explosion caused the entire area to be burrowed from the ground, creating an enormous crater that was almost a dozens meter deep and a kilometer wide.
Everything in the vicinity was either disintegrated into nothingness, or barely intact.
... ...
The entire world seemed to have trembled.
Even those from the other ruins floating islands was startled by it and immediately dropped down. Monsters, experts, warriors, and every living being all drooped down in the ground due to the shaking and pressure.
“What’s happening?”
In a certain area, the ground shook, the trees tumbled, and the mountains quivered.
Iris, Asceius, and their companions immediately stopped moving.
The unsteady ground caused a lot of them to fall in the ground and shriek. Even the monsters they are fighting just now hurriedly retreated and run away the moment the ground shook.
“...what was that shaking?”
Iris furrowed her brows, but then suddenly, an invisible shockwave struck her and her group and before she knew it, she was sent crashing at the tree behind them.
Iris coughed blood, her internal organs felt jumbled from that force.
"Elder Sister, are you okay?!"
Asceius was also the same, crawling on the ground, blood leaking on the corner of his lips.
"What the hell was that?!"
For a moment, she actually felt two terrible auras like that of ancient monsters that could destroy the world, clashed against each other.
This aura... what the hell is in that direction?
Crack!
Baaaaaaang!!
As she was contemplating whether she should check it out, and see for herself what was really happening- as she was certain that there were some people fighting there, people, or rather, monsters the likes of Dragons clashing against each other.
Yes. Dragons and Ancient Monsters, as she didn't believe that anyone among those who had entered the ruins could release such power. And to think there was also someone who could weild such powerful wind magic other than her. She even doubted she could do the same.
-But as she was thinking, suddenly, the ground in front of them crack and split apart.
"What the...!?"
She was so shocked her heart almost jumped out from her throat as the fissure suddenly runs towards her direction, and without hesitation, she jumped back with all her might.
Fortunately, it didn't completely tear apart the ground and finally stop, a few minutes later.
When the fissure finally stops spreading, the group of people looked around and were dazed by what they saw, including Iris and Asceius.
After the strong wind blew away the dirt and dust, a large crevice could be seen in front of them. The feeling of solitude was extreme.
The trees and verdant green had been blown away by the storm winds, and the ground in front of them had turned into an abyss. The cold blowing of the wind made the people around the area hiccup in surprise and shock.
“Look!”
“That is…!?”
Some gazes locked onto the black abyss, and they were once again surprised as they could see some blurry structures. Ruins, so to speak. However, the excitement didn't last longer as suddenly, amidst the darkness of the abyss, a pair of red glowing light suddenly appeared-
ROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRR!!

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.
