Chapter 3,5: Chad was Reincarnated as a Royal, Pure-Blood Human?
Chad’s POV:
It has now been a month since I was reborn, and guess what, I was born as the 1st Prince in a Human kingdom. My luck really is good.
My name is now Asger Vlekadien, 1st Prince of the Kingdom of Vlekadien.
The only problem is that I’m still only a month old, so I can’t do anything yet. Luckily I spent most of my time sleeping, so just this first month passed by quickly. For now I’ll have to act as a baby, but in the future I plan to become a genius, or at least look like one. This will get me a lot more attention and advantages.
I still don’t know anything about this world, only that it has magic and many races. And that it has slaves. Most people would probably found this repulsive and wrong, but not I. In fact, slaves can be really useful, especially because magic ensures that they can’t go against their masters orders.
I also plan on trying to find more of my classmates before we turn 20, that could ensure me being the strongest and becoming the leader, once again.
The only problem is Blake. He always ignored us all, and in turn, we ignored him. However, it kind of felt as if he was a thorn in my site. While I had the entire class under control, he was the only one I couldn’t even touch. If I tried to, the others would think I was weird, and would ruin my position.
I plan to do the same again. The more classmates I find, the easier it is for me to get ahead. I might even be able to get Blake to do as I say, or if I don’t find him, I might be lucky that he either doesn’t turn up or is weak.

Damn it, feeling tired again, guess I’ll go back to sleep.
A year later...
I’m now 1 year old, and I just started to speak. It’s early for a baby, but not so early that it’s scary, just early enough to make it seem like I’m a genius. Perfect. (AN: The human race in this world speak English, all of them, so get off my case.)
I started receiving lessons, on my own request, and learned about this world, it’s magic, and everything else that was basic knowledge. (AN: Read chapter 2 and 3 for this information, it’s the same, just with a bit of human history and culture added to it, I will add that part now.)
After learning the global knowledge, I was taught about human culture and history. To sum it up, human superiority is real. Humans have always looked down on all the other races, since their blood was corrupted by something, making them Fae, Beastman, or Demon. And later the same with Demi-humans, even though they were a byproduct of the slaves from the First great war.
The history of humanity was that before the First Great War all of humanity as one Empire. But after the war and that time’s Emperor’s death, high standing officials and nobles started to split off, and create their own small Empires, or Kingdoms. And it’s still like that today.
About the culture, it uses slaves to perform a lot of troublesome things, and wars for more territory and such are constantly wagered.
I also learned that there was a magic called Status Window that every race could use, which showed you everything about yourself in numbers. Of course I tried it out, and this was the result.
Status WindowName:Asger VlekadienRace:Pure-Blood HumanTitles:1st Prince of the Kingdom of VlekadienLevel:1Class:???Age:1Gender:MaleBody and Mental Condition:Stamina Points:Current:400Max:400Stamina Regen:1,05/SMana Points:Current:200Max:200Mana Regen:0,55/SKi Points:Current:200Max:200Ki Regen0,55/SStats:Vitality:5Strength:5Dexterity:5Agility:5Wisdom:5Intelligence:5Insight:5Presence:150Magic Amplification:Casting time:-0,015%Mana cost:-0,015%Effectiveness:+0,015%Other:Racial Trait/Skill:Adaptability: Humans are very adaptable, so instead of static multipliers per level, they get one 3x and two 2x stat bonus from leveling up. The stats that are multiplied is determined by using the skill.Blessing:Increases all stats by 10%.Blessing:Increases the effectiveness of all Holy magic by 25%.God Magic Skill:Identify: The ability see the information on any item, as long as it’s considered weaker than the caster.

(AN: Everyone starts with 5 in all stats, except Presence. But Blake had 10 in some of them, that was because his Racial Trait kicked in on birth, while the human one needs to be selected. And I know that changing what you multiply is OP, but a normal human only has three 2x options, instead of one of them being 3x. And yes, his presence is high due to him being a prince, a genius, and used to commanding peolpe, just saying!)
From the looks of it, something with Holy magic would be the best choice, and the Racial Skill will allow me to select what I want to become. My plan is to become something akin to Paladins, like the ones I read about in the novels.
Well, after finding out about the Racial Skill, I selected the 3 stats I wanted to multiply when I start leveling up.
AdaptabilitySkill Type:Racial Trait/SkillSkill Rank:???Vitality:2xStrength:3xDexterity:-Agility:-Wisdom:2xIntelligence:-Insight:-
I selected Strength because I want to use big weapons and wear heavy armor, Vitality so that I could withstand more, and Wisdom so that I had more mana to use Holy magic. Quite simple.
Everything is going well. In addition, when I’m old enough, I will start practicing swordsmanship and learning Holy magic.
Just you wait and see, I will be the strongest Hero!

Wanted to try to make Chad a bit more of an asshole, don't know if I succeeded, but oh well. At least I hoped you enjoyed it.
Well, please comment if you have anything to say :D

The chapters are rather short as well

A lot of new content has been added to the early chapters since the end of May. The first chapters are still under construction and editing, but all the major changes are done. I was a webnovel junkie for a long time, but I found it hard to find novels with solid characters, decent plot, philosophical underpinnings and a fully painted world to keep me going. I've taken from every genre I've liked to make a story that satisfies my own cravings for a good story. If you like the story or have suggestions please leave a comment or review. I hope this novel is fun, provocative but above all fun. Enjoy. Yours truly, James Paul Addington PS I will release at least two chapters a week, or one really long chapter. Concerning the tags: The story is primarily Fantasy with Wuxia influence in some elements. Romance won't happen for the first two arcs or so (roughly 40 chapters), I want to build the world before I do that. Tragedy is because of an event that occurs in the book, not the tone of the book. The book is more lighthearted. Slice of Life doesn't occur till the third arc (the romance happens during that arc as well). Magic will also show up more in later arcs, but appears throughout. Reincarnation it's not a reincarnation like in the traditional sense, but it has a similar concept.

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne (1870) (Completed)
In 1866, ships of several nations spot a mysterious sea monster, which some suggest is a giant narwhal. The US government assembles an expedition to find and destroy the monster. Professor Pierre Aronnax, a French marine biologist (and narrator within the story) receives a last-minute invitation to join the expedition. As the expedition travels south around Cape Horn into the Pacific Ocean, the crew finds the monster after a long search and then attack it, but the ship is damaged with the three main protagonists thrown into the water. They are quickly captured and then meet the enigmatic Captain Nemo. ~ Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is a classic science fiction novel by French writer Jules Verne and was originally published in 1870. The novel was originally serialized between March 1869 and June 1870 in Pierre-Jules Hetzel's periodical, the Magasin d'Éducation et de Récréation. An illustrated edition, published by Hetzel in November 1871, included 111 illustrations by Alphonse de Neuville and Édouard Riou. Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is regarded as one of the premiere adventure novels and one of Verne's greatest works, along with Around the World in Eighty Days and Journey to the Center of the Earth.
