《I became the strongest magical tome. But I am still a teacher! Book 1》Chapter 19 The secret to cooking is magic

Zwi monitored the surroundings all night while I crafted some more. Dungeon wood is great stuff. It made the night go over in a heartbeat and soon I was notified by zwi that Anna was standing behind me. I turned to look and there she was, ears drooped and rubbing her eyes. "Teacher, awake." Her belly made a noise. "Hungry." Oh, of course breakfast would be a good idea. "Just wait a minute I'll make something. Why don't you get dressed? Your clothes are over there." I point at a rock I made last night to put her clothes on. She nodded and took the clothes.
Alright so what should I make? Last night I also went around and collected some plants. So I guess I'll make some fried vegetables with venison. Now where do I take the oil from you ask? Hah! Don't underestimate perfect creation you beautiful student's of mine. I can simply make some with magic. You see cooking is considered a craft and therefore food is crafted. I know it's a stretch but magic works with imagination and numbers. A magic formula is nothing more than a truth of the world. A fire magic formula for example is nothing more than the truth that fire is hot. Simple right? Well it's only the one for simple fire spells the ones for the more complex are equally more complex.
So what does all that mean? It means that if I can rationalize that cooking is crafting it means I can use perfect creation to cook. No it's not cheating. I swear. So let's start cooking. I start by preparing all the utensils I need. So I make a simple pan out of stone with earth magic. I make it thin so it will heat up easily and smooth so no sand gets in the food. Yes, this should work. Next I prepare the ingredients. I take out the vegetables I found and the venison. The vegetables are nothing fancy really. Just some potatoes and a few edible roots. With the roots I found were also some carrots. So I chop them all up with a manablade and throw them in the pan which I coated with some oil I created.

While the pan heats up I cut the meat into stripes. I keep some of the fat in my storage for later. In that moment I wondered if she even would eat meat. I know rabbitkin do, but does bunnykin? Well I'll see if she eats it or not. After I finish cutting the pan finishes heating. So I put the meat in too and start cooking both. A pleasant smell spreads in the area. Anna comes up to me fully clothed and looks over my non-existent shoulder. "Teacher, smell yummy." I can see some drool on her lip. Are you gonna become a glutton character? I hope not I don't know how to feed you in that case.
I create a plate and a fork, then put the food on the plate and hand it all to her. She takes it in her hand and starts eating...with her hands. "No no no no! You eat with the fork!" I hurriedly take the food back. Anna looks at me with tears in her eyes. No I'm gonna teach you manners and your crocodile tears won't change that! "Now Anna observe. You eat like this." I stab a piece of potatoe with the fork and put it in her mouth. She start chewing with sparkling eyes. "Delish~" she mumbles with her mouth full. "You get it now? Here." I give her back the plate and the fork.
She takes the fork and stabs a piece of carrot. Good good such a fast learner. Then she puts it in my mouth....ok so I may not be as good as a teacher as I thought. "No no. Anna you put it in your mouth!" She tilts her head and then starts eating normally. Phew. I don't wanna be fed food I can't eat. But looking at Anna eating with such a happy expression I can't help but smile as well. And her clothes look fantastic on her. Though the skull mask makes her look kinda scary if you'd meet her in the dark.

Legends of Balarel - A Leisurely LitRPG
Glenn Redwood has longed to become an Adventurer since he was a young boy, and has focused every waking moment on that goal since turning 14. Answering the challenge of the Gods of Balarel, he has fought Monsters, Leveled, and grown stronger. Yet the day before his 16th birthday, the day he will earn his dream or lose it forever ... the Gods have made a wager. And no mere mortal wishes to draw the attention of the Gods. ***** This is my crack at writing a leisurely LitRPG. My focus is more on telling interesting stories set in a world where people live under a MMORPG-like ruleset enforced by the Gods, and less on writing another story where the MC gets massive stat boosts every chapter before heading off to wreck the world. There will be plenty of blue tables (it’s LitRPG!) but my Adventurers are just starting out. This fic is about the journey, not the destination, so expect everyone to Level ... leisurely. Updates: M-T-W-Th. I’ll post 3000-4000 words a day, or 12000-15000 words a week. If this posting pace ends up being too much for me, I reserve the right to slow posts down a bit. Inspirations: Blessed Time (Royal Road) Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? (Anime) Trails in the Sky (JRPG Series) MC: My MC is a genuinely good person who’s both a talented warrior and tactically savvy. He prefers to solve problems without violence but will resort to force if necessary to protect his friends or innocent people. I’m tired of stories starring anti-hero MCs facing endless doom and gloom, so I wanted to write a nice guy with an adventurous spirit who helps people in a thriving fantasy world. That’s all.
