《The Last King》Announcement

So im thinking of changing the summary of the story to a more appealing one, hopefully one that is less of a put-off than what i have currently. i have come up with a little something, tell me what you guys think.
" Roland, a young man whose power can make gods and demons tremble. Fate itself holds no sway over him.
With none able to restrain him, he follows his own ideals and whims, killing or saving as the mood takes him.
However, such power comes with a price. And the time to pay for it once again draws closer with each passing day. . .
Four mortals stand inside a large hall. Having reached the end of a long journey, their last chance at survival rests in a dangerous Summoning that could leave them either crippled or dead.
Cursed by a mysterious group of beings for reasons unknown and currently hunted by enemies far outmatching them in strength, they gamble everything on the hope that someone answers their call. "
That's it, short and sweet. How is it? If you have any suggestions they will be welcome.
Anyway, im working on it so dont worry. Also I notice some plot holes that i need to address as well, such as how i made Roland seemingly OP as fuck in at least one of his previous lives too, yet somehow he isnt known by the gods who have been around for ages.
I think that there are some people who have wondered how he could have multiple live and be as strong as he is but not be more widely known to the long lived races. Other than a more recent character, I have not made any mention of any of the long living races, like gods such as Loki, knowing of Roland from one of his previous lives. It could be explained since none have been introduced yet but it is strange for Loki to not have heard of Roland right? Or at least heard rumors of him. I mean you would wonder why that is, right? Or maybe you didnt notice? Anyway that is a problem i realize now as i didn't think of it that deep before, and so I will likely make something to explain it in later chapters.

I will try not to leave plot holes, but sometimes they could be left intentionally to be explained later. Regardlesss, please tell me of any as you find them, as i may not have noticed them myself.

Judas Valiant: Chorus of the Machine Giants
The world of Judas Valiant is bustling with Fantasy and a touch of Steampunk. This is an original tale made as an homage to the famed Studio Ghibli and Guillermo Del Toro, all-the-while taking inspirations from numerous animes and fantasies alike (Too many to love! Too many to name!). When a bloody catastrophe strikes a young boy's home, desperation brings about an unknown visitor. Plagued with gut-wrenching fear and an oncoming spiral into madness comes the boy's only hope of survival. Ripe with desperate opportunity, arrives the many-faced creature rushing to make a deal worth several lifetimes. "To find your way into your parent's arms again, you'll need to become a Valiant." He explained. "A Valiant?" I responded suspiciously. "...One must perform a 3-part task in which you must demonstrate the essence of a Mother, the essence of a Father, and earn the essence of a Gaurdian." He explained with haste. Innocently playing into the unknown visitor's tempting hand, the boy agrees to a deal hopelessly intertwined with a journey like no other and is sent to the mysterious and massive city of New Dwarden. Faced with outrageously colorful characters, towering and seemingly alien animal life, and even talking frogs-lemur's, the boy must adapt to grand adventure to complete his impossible task.
