《The undead who yearned for life》22-Nature magic

Well, now that I have the nature magic, I should be able to upgrade both the house and the castle, moreover I should be able to create some self-healing spell; nothing too spectacular with light effects, just some accelerated regeneration.
In three hours I made a warehouse big enough to fit all the cores in a ordinate way, so that I'll not have to search for them in a pile if I ever need them, then I engraved the word in the door and the job is done, all the cores entered in my dimension.
The God of the Underworld has been kind enough to give me not only a good quantity of cores of all the basic element, but also some space, metal and gravity cores (though not many, just thirty each of them).
If my speculations are correct, I'll unlock the gravity affinity at 100% earth magic profiency, while the space affinity at 50% darkness magic profiency.
After entering in my dimension, I tried out the nature affinity... in some minutes I was able to understand how to make trees grow faster, after an hour a new Yggdrasil was born, it seems that with infinite mana I can make even a tree that reach the space.
Full of confidence I went to the place where time pass and did the same thing with another tree... and failed miserably.
The tree on wich I tried the accelerate growth in the beginning grew from a sapling to a half meter tree without problems, but then the spell started to consume my mana at exceedingly fast rate, and when my mana was completely depleted, the tree withered.
During the next hour, I experimented with the trees, and even if every single one of them died, I was able to come up with a few reasons: the accelerated growth of the tree slowly depletes both the life force of the tree (the chlorophyll produced by the photosynthesis) and the nutrients contained in the soil.

In the end, after both of those resources are thoroughly depleted, the spell starts to use my mana as a new source of energy, when even that is depleted, the result is that the tree can't grow on its own anymore and wither.
From all of this I can understand two things about nature magic: one, as the name implies, nature magic can't go against nature (unless you have infinite mana), so even if you can influence and guide it, you need to respect some rules; two, contrary to what you'd expect, if used in the right way, it can be deadly, it's from this branch of magic that things like mana or health leach can be obtained.
For rules, I mean that in order to grow trees faster, some kind of energy must be depleted, so if I continuously change the soil with earth magic and provide small amounts of mana, even after I stop the spell, the tree is still able to sustain itself.
The interesting thing is that I can't use only mana for the spell, there seem to exist an order on the resources that will be depleted, and pure mana can only be used at last, before that the most you can do is to use some mana together with the other resources.
This means that if I want to heal myself or someone else with nature magic, I need to use both stamina and mana for a good result.
To utilize nature magic in a offensive way, it's an idea that came to me after so many trees withered; if overgrowth can be fatal, can't I use the same principle on enemies? I took this idea one step further and inversed the spell, simply taking away the , depleting it in the air.
For the next step, I took the energy that was going lost in the air and transfered it to myself, this way my regeneration rates went up and the tree slowly withered.

After my experiments, I used some time to regrow all the trees that I had used as testing subject, so to let the forest return at its original state (even better than the original, the trees on which I used nature magic were even healthier than the original ones); you never know when a god is looking at you and sure as hell, I don't want to enrage the Goddess of Nature.
Returning in the place where time is stopped, I used some time to change all the furniture of my two houses and some other details that needed wood, after which I exited from my pocket dimension.
