Alex POV

"Fuck"

Shit I never considered mutants in my plan, all those things I've been building will become a big liability, if magneto or the brotherhood found out about them and then there's also Apocalypse ah! Dammit!

"Uhmm...Mister, you still there?" Ask Rogue

"Ahh...no there's no problem, by the way why are you wondering around in the middle of the night?" I questioned Rogue who suddenly became Alert

"Uh..well..I-I kinda run away from home" she replied, seeing her expression I immediately realize it has to do with her mutant power, at this time in the x-men movies she was supposed to meet with Logan so why is she here? Perhaps this is because of the butterfly effect? but I didn't even make a move yet, tskk...shit maybe some high power-

"Mister? Are you there? You blank out again" I stop what I was thinking and look at Rogue then ask "You're a mutant aren't you?"

Rogue became surprise and then step back and step back a little

"How did you know that?!" Rogue shouted

"I didn't but you just confirmed it yourself" I smirk at her in which she paled "well don't worry about it I don't really care" I added

"Wait you don't? Why? Everyone sees me as a freak of nature so why!?" Color returned on Rogues face

"Yeah..I really don't know the reason why humans makes a fuss about it, infact it's quite idiotic to see humans and mutants as two different species, they are just dividing themselves making them vulnerable to external attacks" I said as I turn around and heard a bunch of sirens going off, I look back to Rogue then said "come on the cops are here, I'm sure the cops will give you a hard time if you are found here in the crime scene" I said as I walk father away into the open street then telepathically called Athena "Athena bring in my ride"

Rogue became confuse at who I was talking to but that confusion vanish as a pitch black vehicle suddenly appeared out of nowhere and was now speeding towards me

Rogue tried to warn me but before she could shout; the vehicle made a 360 drift as I jump into the air landing inside the vehicle taking the wheels and stopping beside a gawking Rogue, she muttered a "wow"

"Come on, hop in" I said to a hesitant Rogue but after thinking it over she hops in the vehicle and I step on the gas "let's go dark" I said as the vehicle change color into vanta black and completely blend in to the shadows, I speed through the empty streets of New York

The police arrive just as a vehicle speed through them, they followed it and after a while they can only just stand there and gape as they had seen the most badass scene in their entire life

One cop said "Cap. stace! shit that was the most badass thing ever!!" someone then slap his head

"shut it, go arrest those thugs they must be the one the girl said that assaulted her, also see to it that we have a copy of the cctv's on this area" Captain Stacy said as he look at where the car was just a moment ago 'It's really late now, my wife's going to kill' he grimaced

After driving for a while I arrive at my apartment and park the car in the parking lot, we both got off then I said "Athena take her in"

"Yes Father" Athena replied

A mechanism was activated and the vehicle is now being lowered into my underground headquarters(I should really think of a name for it)

Rogue and I, got on the elevator to the top floor, all the time Rogue was fidgety and was keeping silent as she couldn't believe what just happen to her tonight as she had so many things to ask but can't figure out how to ask them

I turn to look at her and said "don't worry I'm not into younger girls" I smirk at her flush face "I know you have so many question but reserve them till dinner" I added

we got off the elevator into a luxurious apartment and Rogue was once again gawking "A-Are you some kind of Billionaire?" Ask Rogue, I look at her and grin "Actually I am!" Athena appeared out of knowhere with an Apron look "welcome home Father, would you like some bath, some food or perhaps m-" "Stop! Stop! Athena what are you doing?" I questioned Athena who was currently tilting her head "I was researching a bunch of Idea of welcoming you home and people on the online community suggested that I wear an Apron, some even suggested that I take of everything except for the Apron, why father is it not to your liking?" She said and Rogue was now looking at me with a disgusted look while also hugging her own body "fuck I'm not that kind of person!!" I shouted

I spend the entire dinner explaining to Rogue that I'm not some kind of pervert

Rogue's POV

At first I was afraid and mentally slap my head for just hopping on into a possible psychopath's car, especially after that scene on the entrance but thank god he's not

Alex is the man's name, he explained to me that he was the adopted son of a Billionaire couple in England, after his parents died he left London saying it reminds him of his mom and dad too much so he transfer here in US

"But I got to admit the guy really knows how to spend his money" Getting out of bath, I saw clothes on the edge of the bed, I touch the clothes and it was pretty amazing, it so nice to my hands that it feels like silk, I'm afraid I would damage it if I touch it even further

The clothes were a pair of White Shirt and Black Shorts, it was a bit big but overall it was nice

After a while Athena; the man's AI daughter (I only heard of AI on Sci fi books and I never expected someone had already created it) materialize near the door

"Sorry for the clothes, I just hurriedly created it off without measuring you're sizes although I could do that easily by scanning, Father forbid it, he said it's bad to do so, so I didn't" Athena said

"Oh it's okay, it should be me who should be thankful for you and your father for letting me stay here" I replied to Athena

"Okay and by the way Father calls for you on his study room" Athena said then vanish

"Well, I should get going then" opening the door to my room, a holographic arrow appeared infront of me, Athena's voice echoed through the hallway "just follow the arrows"

I followed the arrow till it stop infront of a well designed wooden door that has some carving on it, the carving was of a display of battles and kinda looks Greek to me except it has zombies on it, I knock on the door and Alex said come in, I entered the room and it was amazing per see, rows of book covered the left side of the room, the center has two couches facing each other with a table in the middle, three paintings covered the right side of the room one is a tired and bloodied Alex who seems to be sitting on a golden throne holding a bloodied sword and wearing a tattered armor of Greek mix with Knight elements, a bunch of dead monsters was on his feet (wow its well made and pretty egoistic at the same time to portray himself as monster slaying king)

The second painting was a child Alex and two other person a handsome man and a beautiful woman(I'm guessing his parents but not gonna lie they look like royalties), the third painting is a painting of grinning Alex wearing a red and black suir and Athena who is wearing a dark blue dress while holding a leather bound book(it was pretty much a picture of a proud father and an awkward and embarrass daughter)

"Oh! The first two painting are Athena's Idea, she said and I qoute "father needs to display more of his superiority" she pretty much force me to and the third painting was my Idea on getting back at her" said Alex beside me, I was pretty startled that I almost jump out "please don't do that!" I said with a flush face

"Do what? You were too focus on the paintings that you didn't even respond when I called you" said Alex who then sit on the couch in the middle of the room, he gestured for me to sit the other side and I pretty much do just that

Alex then started to talk "so what are your plans now? Do you want me to bring you back to your parents?"

"What! No! I don't want to return!" I reailize too late that I snap so I could only mutter a "sorry" as a follow up "me and my aunt really doesn't get along and as you know my mutant power would earn her ire, so I don't really want to return" I added

"Oh about your power here give me your arm" Alex said as he wore gloves and pulled out an injection which has a grey color goo noticing my hesitance he added "don't worry, just give me your hands" without really much choice I reach out my left arm forward and then he injected the thing in my arm, with that done he got up and got to his table and retrieve a high tech looking watch

He then toss it to me and said "the thing that I injected into you are nanites, it's basically a robot in nano scale, its made from an indestructible alloy proto-adamantium, what it does is that this tiny robot will cling and cover a gene called x-gene; a gene that cause the mutation in humans, the robots will help you regulate the x gene and in turn help you control your powers, the watch that you are holding now controls the nanites inside you and not only does it control the nanites inside your body but it also help you monitor your health, and also it serves as a smart phone/watch, this is one of the technology that I am planning to introduce into the world with my company and you're the first to get it but because proto adamantium is a super rare material I can't mass produce it just yet, I am still trying to find a substitute to use as base material, go on wear it then hold my hand" he urge

"How do you know about my powers?" I ask, confusingly I never once told him about the things I can do so how does he know?

"Oh that's simple Athena made a scan on you earlier and don't worry about the data I gathered, I destroyed it already, will not me but Athena technically" he said

In which it basically calm me down, I smiled grateful that even though he knew I could pretty much kill everyone with my touch he still was willing to help me out, I put on the stylish watch and the watch then resizes to fit my arm snuggly

A holographic projection appeared and it shows three Icon one is a letter X(which means this is the one to control my x gene), the second is a red plus sign and lastly the third is a symbol of a world( this must be the smart phone/watch symbol), I then turn back and press the X symbol and an instruction pop out, it says here that I can control the x gene to go on or off via telepathy alone, I willed my powers to turn it off and hesitantly hold Alex's hand, and then for a moment I was nervous but then seeing as he was not affected, I jump in happiness and hug him

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I repeated said as tears flowed down my cheeks, Alex just smiled and rub my back to comfort me, we stayed like that for a moment as we heard a click of a camera, we then turned to the side and Athena was there holding a virtual camera I flush and quickly step back from Alex as Athena then said "a good blackmail material"

Alex shook his head and said "well you now can return to your aunt"

I then shook my head and said "still don't want to, my aunt suffocates me and I think she pretty much wants to control my action because of what happen to my mom"

Alex just sighed and said to me "if you're not planning on returning home then you can stay here but on one condition"

I tilt my head and ask "what", Alex look at Athena then said "prepare the papers she going to school"

"Whaaat!" I shouted in surprise to only see Alex grinning to me

"Yes my dear Annie, you'll going to school"

'Argh!! Damn you and your charming smile' I groaned as I have no choice, it's either here, the street or worst back to my Aunt

"Sigh...."

Alex POV

As the door to my study close, I finally sighed

"I'm tired" I said as Athena move her projection forward and seated across from me

"Is this about the mutants father? Basing on what other datas I could gather from the internet and your memory, I could say only five people can pose an immediate threat to you scarlet witch; chaos magic user, apocalypse; omega level mutant, Jean Grey AKA phoenix; host of the Phoenix, Franklin Richards; beyond Omega level and had the potential to join the celestials and lastly Max Eisenhardt aka Magneto; Magnetism and Magnetic Force field generation, of five of them Magneto pose the immediate threat and it is advise that he is eliminated immediately, Next is Scarlet Witch, a formidable Ally to have, a good move would be to bring him to the sorcerer supreme for training, Jean Grey, need more data to give possible course of action, Apocalypse is to be eliminated immediately or to be thrown away into the vastness of space and lastly Franklin Richards a possible course of action is to train him as early as possible" Said Athena as various of picture of the mutant we just talk about was displayed infront of me

"Hmmm.. find anything we know about Magneto and search for for him and create a new folder and name it; Project: Tartarus" said Alex as he stand up from the couch and move towards the door he look at Athena again and said

"come on, it's time to sleep"
