《The Start of a Unusual Life in an Alternate Reality(Soul-AR. You know like solar)》Youre kidding me

We finally arrive at a hall with a dead end and 8 doors.
Lilith:"Well here are our rooms. The three at the end on the right are mine, Dags, and Thia's. Pick any other room in this hall and its yours. Lets head to Dags room."
Dag:"Why are we going to my room? Why not whatever room Dorian picks?"
Thia:"Because you have comfy chairs while the other vacant rooms have just a cot and nightstand. Duh."
We head to the second to last door on the right to Dagothurs room and go in. I have to say i expected a worse room.
The room has hardwood floors and an ornate table with a saberthooth tiger skin rug underneath. There are armchairs around the table. There is an ornate wooden desk with a magitech computer and lamp on top. A few feet from the desk was a queen sized bed with wooden head and footboard. It has a dark brown comforter on top. Did you know that sabertooth tigers arent actually tigers. Theyre more of just a big cat. At least according to the discovery channel. We then proceed to sit around the table. Damn this is a nice chair.
Dorian:"Nice room Dag. In all honesty i thought itd be worse. What material is this chair made of? Its very nice."
Dag:"Thanks for the comlement. You have no idea how hard it is to get elven wood furniture. Also the cushions on the chair are stuffed with cherub feathers while surrounded by hell-hound fur."
Dorian:"Damn dude, must have been expensive as hell. Im guessing the other rooms wont be as finely furnished. Anyway lets get down to business. Whats our mission, what resources do we have, who are we up against and how do i fit in to all this?" I think that establishes that i can have a professional attitude when needed. Cant have them not take me seriously, even after my little show in the messhall.

Lilith:"Straight to business? Okay then where should i start? Oh! I know. Our mission itself. Our mission is simple in its planning and execution."
Dorian:"Where i come from we have a saying, 'No plan survives contact with the enemy'. So before we execute, we need contingencies. Anyway continue."
Lilith:"Our mission is to go to school."
Dorian:"Seriously? I just got finished with school, i hate people at schools, they make assholes like Brutus seem like a pleasant person. Plus i hate dealing with cliques."
Dag:"Stop complaining and listen."
Lilith:"The school we will be going to will be none other than Eternia United Academy. The most prestigious school in all Eternia and The Lost Empire. The Academy has the best and brightest of the new generation of each race. Our job will be to attend and both spy on and protect a VIP student. He is a Prince from The Lost Empire who has been advocating for peace and an end to racism on their continent. He is third in line for the empires throne and has a high chance of suceeding should his brothers fall in the battlefield due to the war they have with us."
Dorian:"Why are they fighting with Eternia in the first place. Even with their technology, this would seem like a losing battle."
Lilith:"Thats the thing though Dorian. To them this is a holy war. The Empire is an Theocracy. However while the religious faction rules in name, its really their emperor who makes the decisions. He is one of those emperors whose claim to the throne is through a supposed god-given right. Its more of an Autocracy when you actually think of it."
Dorian:"Even so, youd think the people and citizens would realize, 'Oh hey, we are fighting a war against a united world while we attack them in the name of a god who, besides in stories about him, has done nothing for us.' This is why i hate religious zealots. They never think about the real reasons behind why something happens and say its just divine providence. Such bullshit. If anyhing their emperor and their priests are nothing but greedy, racist sons of bitches."

Lilith:"Yes well the Prince we are protecting is the very opposite. Thats why we have this mission. We're the only ones in the Snakes Head who are close enough in age to blend in while also being skilled enough to defend him from any potential threats."
Dorian:"I guess i understand you guys going, but why me? In case you havnt noticed, im not really caught up with world politics nor that knowledgable in the case of ettiquete of royalty or other races. Hell Lilith, you were the first non-human ive met. I have none of this worlds common sense. Nor do i have any real skills. That whole choking Brutus with my powers thing? I just learned that then and there. My hand-to-hand and CQC skills aint really up to par when it comes the natural strength and skill of the other races. I have less than 3 months of proper martial arts training and everything i know is self taught or from books and movies and games." Im seriously doubting the smarts of whoever put me on this mission.
Lilith:"Thats why in the three months we have before the new school year starts, we will be both training you and helping you learn about this world. As for the resources we will have on this mission, we will have the control of the entire Snakes Head intel division along with as many weapons, armor, and vehicles we may need in the near future. As for who we are fighting, we have no clues besides they may want to keep the war going to keep profiting on it. The war dogs have gone rabid and we need to put them down. As for you Dorian, you bring in a different point of view along with your unusual ability to gain unknown skills at will as long as you understand how they work."
Dorian:"Wait i never told you how the skill works."
Lilith:"I guessed it from the fact that you havent tried to teleport back to your home." Damn, a womans intuition and inferrence is scary.
Dorian:"Well then i guess its time to start training. Guess well be getting started tomorrow?"
Thia:"Yes its late and you need to go find the showers, you smell like the torture room."
Dorian:"Sex dungeon, and GEE i wonder whose fault that is." I say sarcastically as i leave the room and go to the last room on the left from the entrance to the hallway.
Thia:"ITS NOT A SEX DUNGEON."
Guess ill be actually training soon. Man im really not feeling up to it. My laziness is starting to get to me.
As i go into the bathroom in my room i take a warm shower to wash off three days worth of gunk off and as i finish i realize i dont have any extra clothes.
Dorian:"Youve got to be shitting me.
