《Grand Adventure》Chapter 4. Road to civilization

Walking out of the cave, sunlight blinded his eyes for a short moment, he could see blurry contours of trees and shrubbery, he turned right as the creator of creators adviced him. He was an omnipotent being, so he could be 100% sure that it was correct.
As he strolled through the thick woods, he evaluated his discoveries. The Differences between normal monsters and magic beasts is because of the magic cores ,and discovered that some cores were bigger than others, like the magic cores from Azariahs mother. The Magic cores from the white tiger beast and the others fitted right into his palm, that peaked Aluzars curiosity, he needed to look further into this but left it for now.
Since he hatched the egg his mana pool densed up to a state were it couldn´t be more thicker, he could use magic but it took him time and effort to cast one spell, thus he still relied on his telekinesis. He must search for a solution very fast, before his body was finishing the adaption stage, because he had a feeling if he adapted to this world at that stage his magic progress would stand still at this bottleneck.
He hiked through small hills and riverbeds, occasionally breaking of small branches from tree saplings to not lose his way. What was pretty difficult, if he wouldn´t have had his vampiric senses, with a boundary of six meters, around him like a dome.
Night fell and he setted up camp fire under a small cliff, where it should have been safe. His mana regeneration also reach it´s limits, it took him less than 2 hours to completely restore his mana pool, if he had depleted it.
The Boy took out enough bear beast meat for Azariah and him, he didn´t wanted to waste single bone, or a shred of meat.
It was a habit he developed in the past and was anchored deep within him. He asked the black serpent, if she wanted her meat raw or grilled,
“ We want-our meat-raw massster-otherwissse we-can´t eat-it. ”
Aluzar already predicted this answer, but he wanted to be sure, he had also other question regarding her race,
“ So Azariah, let´s have a conversation before we have dinner. Well my question are, how potent is your poison? I wanted to know, since I found poison sacks and I am curious, if you might hold more then one poison. ”
Azariah unwrapped herself from the boy sliding down on the ground and wriggled herself up besides him. One head was looking at the child and the other seven surveyed the surroundings, her voices echoed in his head,
“ Yess massster-your guessss-wasss correct-each of-our headsss-hold different-typesss of-poissson one-can paralyssse-the sssecond-can put-sssomeone to-sssleep, the-thssird one-is melting-the body-, the fouthss-makesss sssomeone-rot, the-fifth awakensss-the lussst,-the sssixth-petrifies, the -ssseventhss letsss-someone halucssinate-and the-lassst one- makess anyone-die a horrible-painful death-sssince we- are ssstil- a newborn-we can only ussse-the paralyssing-poissson masster. ”
Aluzar showed a sinister smile, he was engulfed in the thoughts of testing those poisons on different subjects and investigate them, but for now it was imposssible, so he kept those projects for a later time in his mind.
He cut the 3 kg piece of meat in two and laid one half in front of Azariah, she discolated her jaw and swallowed the meat in one fell swoop like real snake. Well she was a serpent with wings, Aluzar visible amused by the scene, took out more meat and cutted them into 2 kg, 3 kg, 4 kg, 5 kg and 6 kg portions.
He wanted to test, how much the serpent could expand her stomach and mouth, the black eight headed snake mistook those actions as a benevolent act of her master and swallowed all the five different sized pieces at the same time, with her other heads.

The Young boy was amazed and took out even more meat, he cutted them now to 7 kg, 8 kg, 9 kg, 10 kg, 11 kg, 12 kg, 13 kg and 14 kg pieces each and laid it before her. Azariah visibly overjoyed now, ate all the meat simultaneously again, then he asked her,
“ Little Azariah, do you even taste anything, when you gobble up your food like that. ”
The Black eight headed serpent finished swallowing the last piece of meat and hissed intensly, happy voices transmitted to Aluzar,
“ Of courssse-massster, we-can tassste-while ssswallowing- everything we-eat, it-will be-insstantly-turned to-energy and-stored in-our body,-that is-why we-can alwayss-eat, without-feeling sssatiated. ”
The Small boy was intrigued and wanted to immediately test it, so he took out the rest of the bear meat he removed from the skeleton, alltogether around 8 tons without the weight of the removed bones.
He sliced the meat into 100 kg pieces, with his morphed claws, Azariah told him that she was happy but couldn´t fit such large pieces of meat in her mouth, due to her still being a baby serpent, thus he sliced them into smaller 20 kg pieces, the mountain of raw flesh slowly disappeared into the maw of the serpent.
He grabbed the skewered meat from the flame and wanted to take a bite, suddenly he perceived something with his vampiric senses and Azariah restlessly said,
“ Massster sssomething-isss near-our placssse-and it´sss-huge, we-should flee- even if-it´ss cowardly-I don´t-have enough-power to-go againssst-sssuch monster-in my-pressent ssstate. ”
But it was already too late, from the thick 200 meter long trees a 50 meter tall three headed hound appeared, roaring and howling at the same time, the fangs in the maws, were deformed in various unevenly obscure shapes and drool dripped down from his three snouts.
The Abomination stared down, at the small boy and black winged serpent, that wrapped itself around the child again. The Child stated in a calm cute voice,
“ Hey Big doggy thing, I´m not in the mood right now, so scram or you will end up as raw materials for future researches. ”
Azariah was shocked and already forfeited her life. The Grey colored, three headed hound undeniable angered by the words of the silver haired boy, loudly roared,
“ You Insolent little human vermin, how dare you act so high and mighty, before me, the great Zarantil. I will squash you like the insect that you are. ”
Aluzar was suprised that he could understand the pointless speech, he remembered that he could now comprehend every language thanks to Saput, including the stupid talking of the one called Zarantil.
Zarantil moved his big paw, in the size of an earth elephant, above Aluzar and attempted to crush both of them. The Left front paw crushed down with the claws and the earth rippled, small cracks appeared around the area where the paw came flying down on the ground.
The Hound lifted his left front leg and was sure it killed them, but was suprised to not even see a drop of blood on the ground where he supposedly should have squashed them. Then It´s right head detected a fireball, it tried avoiding it but couldn´t, the flaming globe hitted the right heads eye and it whimpered in pain.
Zarantil then roared in his wrath,
“ You Little imbeciles, I will absolutely make sure, that you will die a painful death. ”
Aluzar, who avoided the giant paw attack, stood on the right side, from the three headed hounds view, where he shot his fireball, the youth showed a smug look and said in an arrogant tone,
Advertisement
“ I told you doggy. We will see which on of us, will die a painful death. When I´m finished with you puppy, you will whimper like a punished lapdog seeking forgiveness, little whelp. ”
Upon the boys speech, Zarantil opened the mouth of it´s right head and fired a thunderbeam in the direction of him, the child didn´t expected it to be so fast, so he could only avoided it in a hairsbreadth. He closed in to prevent it in shooting another one of those disasterous beams, he reached the right front leg of the grey hound and slashed with his transformed claws, but it didn´t even left a scratch on the fur.
The Boy frowned and had to thought up a suitable strategy for this situation and instantly processed a solution, he kept slashing down on the front leg. Visibly annoyed, the greyish three headed dog twisted his whole body around and swept over the ground with it´s three tails.
Aluzar jumped and clung himself on one of the tail tips, he channeled his telekinesis and accelerated himself with Azariah, throwing them to the rump of the beast. Zarantil was bewildered, tried to get rid of them but looked like a dog chasing his own tail.
The Boy focused his mana infusing the transformed claws and rammed them into the rear part of the three headed grey dog. It was just a prick from a mosquito for Zarantil until Azariah decided to bite down, with her eight heads injecting from one of her heads her paralysing poison.
The Poison circulated through the body and the grey dog visibily slowed down, it was a small amount but had an effect. It breathed fire, ice and thunderbeams in the hope of hitting Aluzar and Azariah, but since they were at it´s rear part, Zarantil couldn´t reach them with it´s attacks. Zarantil moved wildly in every which way it possibly could to shake them off, but it was futile it only led the poison spread further and faster.
Aluzar tried restraining the groggy Zarantil, but it broke free with his sheer willpower. His telekinetic binding worked on any being with lower mental strength than him, but he had temporary limits. His mental strength was abnormal, but the child body couldn´t keep up with it and fully utilized the binding, thus the doggy beast broke free.
After a few hours, the poison coursed from the rump through the whole body of the exhausted Zarantil. The silver platin haired child released his grip from the rear part of the grey dog and descended to the ground, with a sick face from the wild ride on the doggy. The Three headed hound, breathed heavily and whimpered,
“ Ho...How...could ...thi..s...hap...pen,...wh..o...a..re..yo..u. ”
Aluzar walked slowly with his hands on the back, in a noble demeanor and said in a disdainful attitude,
“ I am your worst nightmare and unimaginable pain followed by death, will be the last thing you will learn in your life. ”
Zarantil tried to utter some words, yet the paralysing poison unabled him to.
Azariah creeped to the ruby red eyed boy, he began lecturing her and spoke in a teacherlike manner,
“ Listen Azariah, it´s alright to retreat, it´s not corwardice but wise, it helps gaining time to plan a strategy and strike back, on the other hand, if the enemy already closed in on us and retreating is in the meaning of showing our backs to them, we will not only show them our backs but also our foolishness, followed by our deaths, thus it was inevitable to fight, because only true cowards wouldn´t die trying, do you comprehend what i was saying my little servant. ”
The Baby serpent was astounded by the wise words , even the memories of her mother didn´t contain such knowledge, she only bit down because her instincts told her to. Azariah said in an admiring voices,
“ Yesss Massster-we will -reflect on-our foolishssness-and engrave-thossse wordsss-into our-heart. ”
Aluzar didn´t simply kill Zarantil, he skinned the three headed hound alive. The Dog gave off whimpering sounds with every breath it took, he concluded that the paralysing poison is a strong neurotoxin, immobilizing the whole body but left the consciousness awake, he thought that it would be very convient for the future.
He slowly stripped off the pelt from the large body with telekinesis, every inch was unbearable pain for Zarantil, he wanted to roar in pain, but could only whimper. The Telekinetic force, finally removed the fur skin, while the magic beast was still alive. He placed the pelt in his interspatial ring, because he was far from finished with the beast.
He ripped out the flesh from all it´s legs, till only the leg bones remained, he collected the sinews and fed the rest to Azariah. She swallowed the meat happily in front of Zarantil, it felt everything that was done to it, the youth burned the bleeding wounds to keep it from dying due blood loss, apparently it was a male until hid genitals was ripped of and fed to the serpent, seeing his manhood disappearing he wanted to die, but there was more to come.
Aluzar scraped off the flesh in between the ribs, the ground was bloodstained even forming small red muddy puddles of blood around the dog monster. He didn´t wanted to drink the blood, because it may still contain the paralytic poison. When the handsome boy accomplished scrapping off the ribs and feeding it to the baby serpent, he only left the pumping heart, lungs and organs to show.
The Faint scent of iron and salt filled the air, the child freed the three headed hound completely from his flesh, the fresh tender meat constantly vanished into the maw of Azariah. The Shimmering paled skinned youth started to extract the colons and intestines.
He pulled out the soft slimey intestines out, as if it as a large sausage chains including the attached colon, next were the spleen, liver and stomach. He memorized the anatomy of every living being on earth, so he compared them and couldn´t find any differences between them. Finally he released Zarantil from his sufferings, by ripping out his heart and lungs.
Azariah hissed and her serpent tongues always moved in and out from her eight snouts, she said in adorable voices,
“ Oh, Massster-you are-not only-ssstrong and-wissse-but also-kind to-feed me-sssuch delicssiousss-flesh enriched-withss sso-much mana- I will sssurely-grow to-live up-to your-exsspectationsss. ”
Aluzar was flattered by those words but had to admit that, if it weren´t for Azariah being with him he would be surely heavily wounded, or even dead and devoured by the three headed doggy. He was about to praise the black baby serpent until he recalled what she just said right now, that the flesh was enriched with mana.
He came up with the theory that every being in this universe are born with mana strengthened bodys, capable of handling the dense mana, he shouted enthusiastically,
“ Hahaha, you helped me killing an enemy and now you assisted me in gaining knowledge, you have truly gained my gratitude Azariah, mmhahahaha. ”
The Young serpent was clueless, she didn´t know why her master was so exhilarated, laughing maniacally like a madman, even so she didn´t cared because she was happy that her master praised her. Aluzar gave all the organs and intestines to Azariah as a reward, he seperated the magic cores from the brain and presented the soft matter also to her. The Blood covered boy, stored the bones and pelt in his interspatial ring and cleaned himself from the blood with telekinesis.
The Sun dawned over the endless forest and he could have started wandering, without sleeping but decided to rest and shifted his journey now to night time. The Reason for his change of mind was that it was too dangerous, he could easily handle the beast at daylight, but if Azariah wouldn´t be there he would have had trouble fighting Zarantil alone without the support of her.
Until now he was lucky that no such beast, found him in a defenseless condition, it would have been fatal for him. So He made up his decision to travel at night, better be prepared than suprised, is what he thought. He glanced around the environs, spotting a devasted area with dozens of big trees felled by the magic attacks from the hound monster.
He had a slightly displeased face, not because if the destruction of nature around him, it was caused by the stench of beast blood, the intense smell of iron and salt made Aluzar frown. He walked out of the bloody mud and generated water spheres splashing it over his head. He also got to the fallen trees and stored the 36 trunks including treetops in his signet ring. He missed the necessary tools for processing them into planks and beams, but it would be useful in the near future.
He rolled out his soft sleeping mat made out of fur and layed down to sleep, but something was bugging him, so before that he tested a theory. He focused his senses and examined his body. The Young boy noticed that the mana coursed through his body, but refused to fuse with his body, naturally it was a normal reaction preventing foreign substances to harm the body.
But for him it was a crucial matter, because he couldn´t draw out the full potential of his magic and he had a foreboding that sooner or later he would die of mana poisening, in the the time he grows up, if not assimilated into his body. It would slowly infest his organs and he would die a horrible death.
He needed a solution and one that is allowing him to fuse his whole body permanently with the mana flowing through his body, before it beginns to deteriorate him from inside out. He never thought so hard in his life, for he never had his life been at stake. The adorable boy rolled around his sleeping mat from side to side, he was unsure when the mana inside him is gonna go rampant, it could be in a few years or a few hours, anytime it could show symptoms and he could do nothing against it, nothing at all.
With every second without a proper solution his mind drifted into madness, he waltzed over the sleeping mat wilder and wilder. The black baby serpent looked at her master curiously and wasn´t sure what he was actually doing, thus she went to sleep in an arkward atmosphere.
The Boy racked up his brain like never before, brainstorming through his knowledge and wisdom collected from earth until now, in the end he found nothing that could be of any help to him, he fell into depression. He came so far and it didn´t even started yet, will he die just like that without knowing when it´s gonna start and live a life of constantly fearing for his death.
Never, he thought innerly, he will never accept such a humiliating death, he would either die trying, or cripple himself in the process and then put himself into his eternal sleep, at least he would have tried. The Child gathered his resolve and once again concentrated his senses, he carefully investigated the mana in his body, in the hope to find even a tiny clue, helping him finding an answer to his problem.
He observed the mana flowing through his body, it didn´t had a calculated movement, or a set direction, it just circulated disorderly in him. The Mana was clustered together irregular, in several clouds allover his body. He tried a little magic to light a small flame on his index finger and watched a tiny cloud wandering from his body to his left finger, then it began strangely to condense in to a miniscule deep blue liquid, vaporizing before igniting a candle sized flame on his finger.
Aluzar opened his eyes wide in excitement as if he was enlightened, before he didn´t paid any interests in the procedure, how mana created the desired results, because he thought his body has already adapted to the environment naturally.
How wrong and narrow minded he was, was what he thought to himself, also the theory of that the body is a vessel and the mana is like liquid coursing through his body is partly correct. He added that the mana in him is still raw and in a colorless nebula form gathered in his body, unable for him to assimilate.
Aluzar already developed a technique to let his body fuse with the accumulated mana, he proceeded immediately and focused the clustered nebula mana clouds in his head, he compressed and condensed it with his willpower, till only a few deep blue teardrops of mana were created.
He putted himself in a meditative state like when he hatched the black serpent egg. The Small boy let the blue liquid seep through his body, it was refined mana, now it was like a huge vase slowly being filled with tiny little drops, but before reaching the vase it goes through a thick filter and that is is body.
He kept producing the liquified mana through the day, until it was night. He awakened from his trance and packed his stuff in his interspatial ring and started walking in the direction the creator of creators hinted him. With Azariah like usually wrapped around him. He kept this routine every day, he went meditating when the sun rised and wandered at night while avoiding dangerous beasts, stopping at riverbeds o refresh himself.
He had superior eyesight at night and could detect them from afar. Aluzar not like before, didn´t took anything for granted anymore, since he was a powerful individual on earth, he thought that eventually everything will come to him by itself. Such ignorance almost clouded him from the truth that was once conveyed to him by Kallad, the manager of planet earth.
He thought about the words, Kallad said to him and sighed at his foolishness,
“ Truly, in this world someone has to put hard work and effort, to become powerful. I will never make this mistake again. ”
He wisphered to himself, then Azariah asked curiously,
“ Massster did-you sssay-sssomething?”
Thereupon he replied with a weak gentle smile,
“ Well, I was reminded of my own ignorance and recalled some words a person once told me. Azariah, never underestimate someone, even if it is an object, or your surroundings, understood.”
The Small baby serpent, shooker her eight heads up and down,
“ Yesss Massster,-I underssstand-I won´t-becaussse you-ssshowed me-masster. ”
From Azariahs answer, he had a wry expression on his face, he could tell that she had underestimated him, but also understood that with his appearance anyone would do the same.
Three Months passed by and he couldn´t see an end in the vast sea of trees. His progress in actually adapting to mana, was halfway completed, the body from him is 50% soaked in liquid mana, although, he couldn´t feel any changes happening to him, since he started the treatment.
Aluzar made sure that every fiber and and every cell was soaked, also his organs and blood, seeping them with the deep blue liquid he created, even his bones weren´t forgotten and he now realized what Kallad ment by, it would be more easily to adapt to.
If he would kept his original appearance he wouldn´t be able to progress so fast and would be having problems soaking his grown up adult body with liquid mana, by the time he would have already died due to mana poisening.
The Frowning child was terrified by the thought of it. Discovering something was partly knowledge and partly luck, if so happens so, nothing to shake about that fact.
They kept hiking, while he studied the flora and fauna of Almastea, since recovering from his short depression he inspected every herb and leaf he encountered. Aluzar stored bulks of herbs into his interspatial ring for future experiments, some resembled plantlife on earth but he couldn´t verify it at the moment, he still had to get out of this ridiculous huge forest.
An Idea flashed in his brain and he felt really stupid for not thinking earlier of it until now, he glanced at the eight headed snake heads on his right and left shoulders and asked Azariah,
“ Say, the wings on your back aren´t just decorations, aren´t they. ”
The Black serpent answered in various boastful tones,
“ Of courssse- not massster,-we can-reach up-to 4000-meter in-our current-state we-can even-take you-wthss usss-sssince we-have enough -energy from- the great-feast, you-gave usss.”
The Smart child already expected such an answer, he only wanted a confirmation from her, thus he commanded her to lift them up as high as she could. He only wanted to have a wide view from his location. The Wise kid putted his cloak in his interspatial signet ring.
Well he could have levitated himself with his telekinesis, but couldn´t had reached up so high in the sky, only a couple hundred meters. Azaria thightened her grip around him, spreading her 2 meter long wings and began flapping rapidly, till they departed from the ground soaring to the starry night sky.
The Stars glistened majestically in the background, begfore the two moons, now in the shape of two crescents facing the same direction. They reached an altittude of approximately 4000 meters, in a mere ten minutes, he could feel the strength behind the fragile looking leathery wings.
He had now a magnificient view of the great forest, the trees and animals, the multiple river deltas that resembled pulsing veins pumping the life essences through the dense woods as if it was a mega organism. Never could such a marvelous sight be seen on earth, thought Aluzar.
He could now comprehend how vast this forest truly is, the amazed boy looked back at where he came from and saw the huge mountain and behind it an even taller one and endless greenery surrounding them.
He moved his gaze to the front again and concentrated his eyes, he couldn´t see and end of the various trees, so he infused his eyes with mana enhancing it, if he could infuse his transformed claws why not his eyes, he could now see several kilometers ahead and saw plains with no trees only grass.
He told his serpent servant to fly into the direction heading for the grassy plains, it took them a few hours to reach the discovered area, they landed just before the forest ended, because the sun began showing itself, also he wanted to prepare himself, if he by chance he met a human or humanoid being.
The Little boy lit up a camp fire, took out the black snake skin obtained from Saputs corpse and the fur pelt from Zarantil. Aluzar travelled barefooted all the time until now, he needed some boots and alter his current clothes to not look unappealing since he wanted to mingle with the inhabitants on Almastea.
First he cutted out two sole patterns slightly bigger than his right and left foot for shoes from the fur of the three headed dog, since they were small in size there was still alot of it, he burned away the excess hair over the camp fire turning it black also it helped to remove the left over proteins. The Child stood underneath the raw soles to fit in his foodprints and formed an edging from tbe overlapping parts for the padding, he also extracted som moisture until it was dry but flexible.
He cutted out another pair of soles, but this time smaller pieces than before. He took out the flat and smooth stone, he had used to make bone needles and flattened the skin, because the skin was 1.5 cm thick and enriched with mana it was fairly difficult to pound it flat.
When he finished flattening the skin. He evenly distributed the downy feathers in the shoesoles with the edging and compressed them, till they were firm but still had a soft sprung, thereafter, he sewed the flat skin over it, with a neat stitching to tightly seal it off.
The Handy child went on to the snake skin cutting out the whole pattern for a shoe, from the toe caps to the heel caps and shoe straps, he began sewing it on the insoles he created. He even patted the slip belt with downy feathers, everything with neat double stitches, for final touches he removed some moisture, making it hard and yet bendable.
The End product were matt black elegant shoes, similar to modern shoes, it had no shoelaces because it was a tight fit, you could see the sinew threads sewed neatly like a prefessional tailor ,or shoemaker. He could do this, due to his knowledge and performing every job, while he was on earth.
It sounds strange but he tried out everything aviable to him, it was his only way to kill his boredom. He cleaned his foot from dirt, dried it and slip in his newly made shoes, the six year old looking child walked around the campfire and was pleased with his work, a little amateurish but well made for the lack of tools and other materials to produce perfect modern days footwear.
Now he added some sleeves to his vest and extended his shorts to pants, with the matt snake skin, without even wasting a piece of material. Since he was finished adjusting his clothes, he thought about making simple weapons.
The Hoarding kid brought out all the bones that he had stored inside his signet ring, inspecting them while imagine what he would create, his gaze stopped at the black spine spikes.
The Crafty boy picked out one 30 cm long spine spike from the white tiger beast, he medically treated and carved one sharp dagger, the blade was a clean double edge and the handle formed to fit into his small hands. Everything was carved with his morphed claws, the boy also made a sheath and a belt out of fur pelt.
The Fur pelt belt was sewed together in between a buckle carved out of bones, making both sidesfluffy with fur, the sheath was grey, it was obvious that they originated from Zarantils pelt, the sheath was attached through a hole to the belt, it was located a the back of his waist to conceal it´s existent. He packed everything back into his interspatial ring, even the shavings from the bones.
The Night spread, the air is filled with a meaty scent of grilled flesh. Aluzar roasted the tiger beast meat over the campfire on a skewer, he engraved his dagger with his emblem. The shield crossed with a death scythe and a sword, coronated with a majestical crown on the hilt, as he completed his pastime activity the meat was cooked.
The growing child ate the big chunk of meat of course Azariah got a piece too, savouring the tasty flesh, he noticed the differences between the bear beast meat and the tiger magic beast meat, the differences was like an instant meal compared to dry aged steak. The Mana in the flesh enriched the hearty juicy taste and since it was drained from blood it was perfect, it would taste excellent with some sweet tasting blood he thought.
He decided to journey at daytime again, because it would seem suspicious to wander around at night, if someone spotted him, thus he rolled out his sleeping mat and rested, while meditating in trance and condensing mana drops.
Sunrays enlightened the woods, there were no danger coming from nocturnal beasts, considering he was near the edge of the woods. He stored away his sleeping mat and putting on his hooded cloak, the clothes he modified yesterday were slight slim fits clinging to his body, but were not thight fitted for better movement.
Overall he looked well dressed, maybe overdressed for this world. He made his way out of the woods. The seemingly endless forest now finally found an end, for him. He left with a good amount of knowledge and material for future researches, who knows maybe he will return someday to uncover the mysteries he didn´t encounter during his journey.
The Youth was refreshed by the change of scenery. Until now he only saw trees and surely he had enough of his share, he didn´t wanted to see an agglomeration of trees for while. Azariah surveyed the new terrain, she also enjoyed the tiger magic beast yesterday night, she peaked from inside the deep hood of the cloak with her heads right next to Aluzars face, but he paid no attention to her.
He was busy himself in estimating a direction, he infused mana into his eyes to make it easier for him, it enabled him for a period of time to see like a normal human in broad daylight. The lesser vampires and lower pure bloods would have turned to ashes right now, it was clear since they were defective products, a cheap copy created by the supreme pure blood vampires themselves.
Aluzar saw a clearance outlining a faint footpath, immediately headed towards the discovery, one way led back to the forest, the other away from it, not thinking twice he walked to the opposite ditection of the woods.
The Plains were filled with overgrown grass and weeds, mixed with graceful flowers in every color imaginable, the blossoms of them had various shapes, were ranging from deformed clouds to wavy squares, or reversed pyramids.
The many different scents mixed together with the grassy smell of the plains, it was intense yet delicate a composition of rosy, citrus and minty fragrances. The Small handsome youth was impressed by the diversity of this world, he would occasionally stroll away from the footpath to analyze the many flowers and plants close up and stored them in his signet ring in bulks, maybe they could be of use to him someday, better safe than sorry.
He journeyed along the footpath for two months, he discovered small animals resembling rabbits, but instead of having rabbit teeth and ears, they had fangs and horns so small yet deadly. Azariah hunted them with pleasure it gave her experience in predatory hunting.
The curious boy medically treated a dozen of them to examine, if they may had suffered from a disease, if they were magic beasts or not and found small magic cores in the size of his little pinky approximately
4cm long, naturally he stored the pelt, bones and meat in his signet ring.
Aluzars small body progressed in assimilating the liquid mana, with every drop his body sucked it up like a sponge now, before it would reluctantly take it in but now his body considered it a part of it, a necessity to survive although he couldn´t feel any changes happening to his body.
His small selfmade shoes, moved him with every small step forward onto his grand adventure in Almastea, a world filled with endless mysteries, secrets and long forgotten knowledge, he wanted to explore it all. He remembered that Saput mentioned that vampires also existed on this planet, he was excited how they came to be and how they will be different from him, if they would be strong or weak, he wanted to know if they were like him ot just only lowly pure bloods, or lesser vampires.
Aluzar was immersed in his thoughts, that he didn´t noticed that a small village was within his sight. The Sun began slowly sinking and signaled the oncoming evening, the platin silver haired and ruby red eyed youth changed his hair and eyes to a deep black haircolor and icy blue eyes, he didn´t forgot to change his pale white skine to a more healthier human skin color.
He smirked an evil playful grin and said in a mischievious tone,
“ Let´s see how the inhabitants of this world are like, hehehehehe.”
Authors note: Well now Aluzar reached civilization, well you can tell from the slice of life tag it will be casually and about finding out what to do i have a vague setting planned. 8 117P.A.R.A.D.O.X. PROJECT: Aeon Genesis
The first project focusing on four protagonists within the same world set around fictional 14th-century Europe. This is the first P.A.R.A.D.O.X. PROJECT focusing on 3 (+1) protagonists within the same world set around fictional 14th-century-esque Europe. Each story has its own protagonists (Male or Female Lead), genres (mainly Western Fantasy), and can be read as a standalone. Status: OngoingUpdate(s) per week: 1Words per chapter: 3000 - 6000 *** ‘A human or not; a king or a servant; hope or despair; a hero or a villain.’ Depending on one's perspective and how each story portrays, one will view an individual or a group as evil or virtuous. Because of that, it depends on the reader and listener to believe which one is the truth. More people read and trust multiple (trusted?) sources that either complement or contradict one another. The contradiction becomes the source of debates between those who believe and those who don’t. From that difference in belief, two groups appear: The Majority and The Minority. The majority, having more people, suppress the minorities’ beliefs, claiming theirs, the majorities’, to be the truth. However, the majority are not only composed solely of those who share the same belief but also those who know the truth but afraid to admit it. They have to keep quiet and turn a blind eye for their safety. The majority had to submit to those with power and authority. With the majority under control, those with power and authority can create, manipulate, and/or fabricate truth and lies by force. The reason was for one’s or group’s personal benefits. In the end, there is no such thing as ‘absolute truth’; only sugar-coated lies created by the top. Don’t believe me? It is up to you to decide. Go and read it yourself.
8 104The Shadow That Preludes Death (The Favoured)
Magic and fantastical beasts run wild on the countless worlds of the Fabric. Deities take an active interest in the Fabric. The Favoured, immortal mages of immense power vie for territory and power in the Fabric. Umbra a naive ward of the Duke is almost Grown and that means she will need to take an apprenticeship. The issue is she isn't good at anything, but she catches the eye of a master of magic, he thinks she might be one of the fabled Protectors the ones that would save them from the coming destruction. But Umbra isn't the hero everyone wants her to be. Updates will at least one chapter every two days. Notable Location Poliagoras. Poliagoras is the most important world in the Fabric partly due to it being the centre of everything both literally and metaphorically. Trade, commerce, travel, and politics are all conducted primarily on Poliagoras, it has the biggest city in the fabric stretching to cover almost the entire world. It also holds all the known Great portals in the Fabric which are the only way to travel to other worlds. Even without these things, Poliagoras would still be the most important world in the Fabric as it is home to the largest population of Favoured. They were mages chosen by the Deities and given the potential to become more than mortal. I cannot overstate how appreciated constructive criticism is. This is the first story I have written of my own volition so even a small comment on how I could improve would be great. The current title is most definitely a working one. I know it isn't great.
