《Rise of Anubis - LitRPG Fantasy(DROPPED)》Ch. 10 The First Royal Guard

I was looking at the glowing wisp of darkness in the starlight cave… this creature was kin, and it is absolutely loyal to the emperor which is me. I know what this means, I have another shadow elemental that I can use this being without the cost of mana, the debuff of stats and strength of being just a minion. If I could find more of these creatures, I could build an army of shadows, this world’s greatest assassins. “Shadow elemental, you will be the first of my royal guard. I will train you… teach you… and in return you will serve me with absolute loyalty, I will be your master always and if you were to fall in battle, I will drag you out of the depth of shadows so you can learn from your mistakes. Learn to not fear death, to not fear life. You are above both and only underneath me”.
The shadow grew into a humanoid form, it was just a mannequin like-figure, no eyes, no ears, no mouth. It kneeled and held out its hands, palms facing upwards. I formed a blade of pure balance, it was void black with a silver glow around it and held it in my hands. I tapped the blade on both sides of the shadow elemental to complete the knighthood ceremony. “Rise my newborn void-knight, take shape and live in the shadows, for the shadows… for me. The new knight rose, and the darkness seemed to have been called to it as the shadows moved towards this new figure. It took the form of a Caped knight. The knight had full body dark steel armor, the shoulders had spikes that looked like sharp teeth had risen to eat the foolish and the weak. The helmet was all dark steel, covering the full face, however, there were small slits that went from the chin to where the mouth was as to make a terrifying picture of sharped blades meeting together to where the chin lay. The eyes were molded to create a triangular shape in which light blue eyes were contained. A black fur cape reached down to the knees that covered a portion of the shoulders and the back. The cape seemed to sway in the windless cave as it was made of shadows. A large two-handed blade of half dark steel and half silver steel, rested with its immeasurably sharp tip and sides in the ground, with the knight's gauntlets resting on the pommel in a sentinel like style waiting for further commands from its lord.

Revelation Effect: Shadow minions cost less to maintain and create by half.
I’m impressed, really impressed. I know some nice looking medieval armors and fantasy armors, but this may just take the cake for the best looking royal armor I’ve ever seen. I was interrupted by my thoughts as my shadow scout from earlier sent a mental message. They have been getting better at communicating with me mentally and so this message was much clearer and could be voiced with words instead of just emotional nudges. The scout messaged through the soul saying, “Emperor of shadowssss, the elvesss had arrivess to the cavesss”. The scout sounded like a snake with the elongated s’s. It was nice to know some target practice has come to us. I turned to my new void-knight, “It’s time to prove your worth to my new one, do not disappoint me”. The knight nodded its head and took to the front of me as it led me to the outside of the cave.

Shadow elves inspected the walls for damage,
“There is nothing, the trail of leads us to here, the gate is on the other side of the wall, how can it just disappear?” The grand elder and the mountain tribe leader Akazul were speaking to each other. Distraught was written all of their faces, however, lady luck...or unluck was on their side because they had a single space mage out of their only two who sensed a slight disturbance in space near a section of the wall. The space mages of their’s were only numbered at two, and it was a large risk to bring such a treasured asset to hunt such a dangerous creature. However, their space magic can only go as so far as opening a portal through rituals and have higher senses than others in space disturbances. Yet they were still highly regarded among all species for their uniqueness and their ability to see and use the power of the ‘beyod’.

They followed the trail of space to the other side of the wall, they knew it may already be too late, the guards have already reported of no disturbances, so it surprised them that this creature of ferocity ignored the guards and just went straight to the cave of starlight. Shadow elf legend talks of a mysterious cave that shines with starlight, however only the elders knew the true secret of the cave. The hunting party quickly ran to the cave and readied their weapons. No one has been in the cave for over 2 thousand years and was supposed to continue like that, but then Anubis came into the picture. The elves could see the starlight of the cave, however, before they even stepped a foot into the cave a figure came out. It was a terrifying knight - demon, wielding a massive two-handed sword that seemed to be able to cut space itself. The dark elves began to shiver.

(A/N)I discovered that I can post fanfictions on this site so I decided to post the Familiar of Zero fanfic I made. Walking home from a friends house after watching the FoZ anime, our hero suddenly finds himself in a familiar summoning situation... only something interferes and he gets a few new advantages. Now, follow along as he breaks the show, builds a harem, and builds an empire all the while doing humorous, badass, and other Gary Stu stuff. Contains elements from both the anime and manga. Also yes, the MC is a bit OP, but it's okay because it's funny.

The Doormat Villainess – Adrianne
A villainess is a character who has always been diametrically opposed to the heroine of a romance drama. What makes a person a good villainess? The fact that she's unabashedly beautiful and charismatic, yet also rotten inside? The fact that she's incredibly loathsome, greedy, and selfish? That she's reasonably strong enough to be a hurdle, yet ultimately powerless in the face of a determined heroine? That despite all these character flaws, a Villainess's greatest virtue is unwilling to give up until the last of their breath, in pursuit of her personal desire? If those are the hallmark of a successful Villainess. Then, I might be the wrong person to play that role. Also on Scribblehub (Profile)

Into the Feywild
I've never considered myself to be much of a fighter. In fact, I had no notion what it was all about. I couldn't envision a war amongst people, especially my own. In this odd realm, a timid half-elf has little chance of success. Especially with minimal experience. I've only fought as a means of survival, self-defense, if you will. I had known only humans, so the concept of elven culture and family was foreign to me. And yet, here I am, in the midst of a tremendous battle between two Feys and a God. I never planned for things to turn out this way, or for me to get caught in the great shambles of war—a conflict between good and evil. My two companions are practically strangers to me, knowing nothing but my name. This journey was not something I had planned or wished for, but it was what the Gods gave me.◈ ◈ ◈Meli, a young half-elf traveling the Material Plane, is unexpectedly captured while on her travels, only to become a member of an odd group of individuals. Crane, an older wizard castaway from his college for practicing unnatural magic, and Kurky, a youthful and lively gnome who is as fascinating as they come. Meli's curiosity gets the better of her as she chooses to accompany them on their not so concrete journey into the Feywild. Little did they know of the constant war raging within this woodsy plane. Maybe Meli will discover everything she's been looking for, embracing love and pleasure along the way. Or perhaps she'll become a part of something bigger. © Copyright to EmmeMeadows 2021

Unfortunately, the apocalypse trapped Ted in his apartment complex. Now, the former office worker has to fight his way out through hordes of ravenous neighbors, terrible monsters, and his landlady.
