This story needs an overhaul, though not as badly as Nocturne or Galataea. The systems used seem sound, and the characters are quirky if not humorous. However, there are many instances of clunky language, missing words, and other issues that detract from the story.

Since I don't know whether I'll publish this story on Amazon or not, I want it to be its best version here on Royal Road. As such, I felt the need to edit before I begin adding new content. Since it is mostly an expansion of what is already there, and a general clean-up it won't take nearly as long to get back to chapter 9 as it will take for Galataea to reach it's original hiatus point.

I'm breaking the chapters into smaller scenes and sections. Afterward, I will clean each scene and expand upon it a bit. I've already done so with the first scene. It will be posted within the next few minutes. The second scene will follow in an hour or so.

This story will probably have 12-13 chapters overall. However, breaking those chapters up into scenes will allow me to take greater time and care with it than I did when writing it originally. I do this with all my stories when preparing to publish, so this is nothing new to me. Bear with me, and we can get this story back on track soon. :)

The original story is going to remain up as is, but I'll add a link to the start of the rewrite. It wil be added to this thread, and not starting in a nw one like Nocturne or Galataea.

Once I have the first 9 chapters rewritten completely, I'll delete the original 9 chapters and we won't have an issue. Till then feel free to read the original to regain knowledge of the story, or to see the difference in the before and after.
