The ship was fast. A far cry from taking a taxi and the AI took care of many of the legal flying rights and stuff. Once I leave the town I will need express permission to land on the docks but since I still need to gather all my things new captains are normally allowed to fly within the city to gather the stuff since recruit class ships don't have teleportation platforms. The ship got near the empty lot which was a ship landing site for thee such occasions and gently landed. "Destination reached Captain. Please gather all possessions and return to your ship. Once we take off we can only leave the city's air space." The AI told me and I nodded. I leave the captain's seat while retrieving my wrist pc and putting it on. I then go and enter the elevator. When I reach the cargo I was met by the AI and the cores hologram. "Going out bitch!" He said and laughed. "I need to gather my things." I told him while passing right through him. "You sure you can pull it all back sweet cheeks. Hehe." He said. Really annoying fellow. "Here bitch, this will make both our lives easier in the long run." He said as a small floating drone appeared. In one of its claws was a ring. "What is this?" I asked looking at both the droid and the ring. "Found the ring in my drops creation section. Only 1 MP for the first one I make so I guess it would be for the captain. Storage ring the system called it. As for floaty, I believe it was called a sentry droid cost me a good 60 mp to build this bastard but I REALLY don’t want visitors." He said. So this was a storage ring. A magic item made by dungeons and given to their owner so he or she can gather objects and store then in a pocket dimension. It takes a bit of mana but you can store and pull out anything placed in there. "Thanks." Is all I said before I enter the airlock and exit the ship. The walk was uneventful but I did draw the looks of people as I left the ship. Who wouldn’t when you don't normally see ships landing inside the city. I quickly go to my dormitory and call the owner. I tell her all that happened and she congratulates me but tells me to not get cocky. I'm still a newbie and should be careful as one. I thank her for the warning when suddenly she hugs me. The landowner is like a mother to all the girls here so this was a nice feeling. "Don't be afraid to visit." She said while hugging me. I just nod and she tells me she will help me pack. She drags me upstairs and we pull out my suit cases. I had a few each for one type of clothing. Pants, shirts, panties, shoes and the last type armor. I have five pairs of basic armor given by the adventurers association. My gun and wand were also beginning gear which I hope to upgrade later on. When everything was packed I put it in the ring, on my right middle finger, and store all of them. The landowner doesn't question it since she was once a space cadet and probably knows what it is. Before I can leave, she calls everyone and tells them what is happening. Everyone congratulates me and each one gives me a hug and telling me see you later instead of goodbye. They really are like sisters instead of friends. Soon everyone says what they want and leave. They follow me to see me off and are a bit amazed at seeing the ship even if it is a bit old. The land lady hugs me once more and kisses my forehead and tells me good luck before letting me go. I walk into the ship that was now my home. Though a rather unavoidable rat was personally placed in there I will be living here so best get used to it. I enter the ship and find the sentry floating there and soon both the holograms appear. "Greetings captain." The AI said. "Yo bitch!" The hoodlum shouted. "Please find me a low level dungeon that someone like me can traverse alone." I tell the AI while ignoring the annoying core. "Gyahahaha! Going for the silent treatment huh princess." He said laughing. Again I ignore him and enter the elevator heading for my bedroom at the top. Exiting the elevator I find a corridor with a few doors. The first on the right lead to a large bathroom, on the left is my bedroom the second door on the right was an office and the last door at the end of the corridor was a medium sized living room. "Not bad, for a basic recruit ship the captain's quarters are rather nice." I spoke to myself. "Ain't it...SHIT THIS SUCKS!!! I CAN'T ACCESS ANY OF THE BATHROOMS!!!" The voice of the annoying idiot said. "Of course not, they aren't made with cameras or holoprojectors. The only method you should be able to access is when I ask the AI to upgrade it in the future." I explain. "FUCK!! Damn it. At least I can wait. Not much to look at at the moment anyway." He said in a rather sad tone which pissed me off. "HEY!! I'M STILL 15 SO I CAN GROW MORE!!" I shout "Oh yeah, I agree, those C cup breast may eventually turn into D cup." He said in a serious tone. I turned violently red as I shouted and cursed him a lot before calming down. "Now then, ship privacy mode activate, captains bedroom is off limits to cores view." I suddenly said. On queue he shouted. "YOU LITTLE BITCH WHAT DID YOU DO!!" He shouted. "Easy, I used a captain command to remove your ability to see into my room. This is an order that can even override you control because it's part of the holders system." I tell him. Now it was his turn to shout scream and curse. I enter my room when suddenly the AI appeared. "Three registered nearby dungeons of low class has been found. Demon goblins dungeon in the town of Dreki to the south east, coastal dungeon in the port town of Kosak to the north west, and the grassland dungeon in the town of Spenolif to the south west." The AI finished telling the list. I bring up information about each town dungeon. The first one in Dreki is a town of Goblin kin and the main creature in the dungeon are demon goblins. Some people call them Imps or just Demon goblins. They are low class dungeon monsters and the base for intelligent demon monsters. The dungeon has 5 floors with a tower of equal size and the city has around 9k population. The second dungeon is in the port town of Kosak. The dungeon is 9 floors deep and is filled up to the knee in water which causes more fatigue for the adventurer. The monsters are normally fish based and in lower floors monster lizardmen roam. The main population is made of sentient Lizardmen, Siren and merfolk who run large industrial shipping company with the many islands scattered around the seas. The last one in the town of Spenolif. It's located in grasslands that make up a good bit of farmland. The dungeon is made of three floors all made into huge rooms that house grassland monsters based off of animals that live in such areas. Even though it's the smallest dungeon it's also the hardest. "I think we should begin with the easiest for now. Set our course for Dreki." I tell her and she bows. "BORING!!! GOBLINS ARE SHITTY TRASH!!! GO KILL SOME FISH OR BUFFALO!!!" The deranged core shouted. "I don't even know what this buffa whatever it is you're talking about. Also I don't want to die so I will train a bit while I gather goblin corpses to feed you." I shout. He quiets down and I unload my bags in my room and start unpacking. I feel the ship take off and soon moving forward but since all ships have an inertia damper it can neutralize the forward g force that would have thrown me. While the ship flew I unpacked and stored everything and separate one set of armor for me to put on. The armor suit itself looks like a uniform. It's black leather with a metal jacket that goes over the leather and the same is for pants. The basic armor is nothing like those in cartoons where the beginners have simple leather suits. Putting on the holster I put the magic gun in the spot on my right while the wand went on the left. Done I exit the room and meet the hoodlum before me. He looks down at me and whistles. "DAMN~~! I don't have a space uniform fetish but damn I sure as well wouldn't mind it." He said while moving his holohand and tries to grab or spank me only for my hand to smash his head to bits. "Shut up trash. Anyway I will be leaving when we arrive. Just keep gathering more MP QUIETLY!" I tell him. He just laughs it off as I get in the elevator and go down to the second floor and head for the bridge. "Oi bitch, why not let me absorb a bit of your mp. I can make a sentry drone to accompany you. Or maybe a cargo drone or a sniper one." The core kept asking. "SHUT UP AND DON'T WASTE YOUR MP!" I shout at the limits of my patience. "Gyahahahahah!! Like you can tell me what to do! Anyway, seriously give me some mana, the ships puppet will control one drone and it will help her grow quick and I don't want to be stuck in here." He said. Thinking a bit, leaving him alone with control of the ship was a real bad idea. "I'll do it only if you lock all your control of the ship and come along." I tell him. "GYAHAHAHAHAHAH!! So shrewd! No trust at all!" He says laughing. "Fine, it's boring anyway and I can train to use the lasers on the drones." He says. I head to the holder room where his hologram was their already. I walk to the container and pull out my wand and gather may mana. From the wrist module I can check how much I had and my max capacity is 600 points. I use it to watch how much I gather and once it hits 400 I stop and touch the tip of the wand on the core holder. From the tip the mana escaped and struck the core like a lightning bolt and was absorbed. "FUCK!!! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!! THAT FUCKING HURT DAMN IT!!!" The core suddenly shouted. "What do you expect. A sudden burst like that will obviously cause a strong bolt to appear." I said someone satisfied to see the hologram sprawling on the ground. "FUCK YOUR A TOTAL SADIST!!!YOUR TOTALLY ENJOYING THIS!!!" He shoots in pain. "I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. Anyway I gave you 200 points of mp so you should have enough for three of them with what still remained from your original amount." I tell him and leave him on the ground with a refreshed smile. "Maybe I should donate more mana more often." I said outloud to myself. "DON'T!!! NOT THE WAY YOU DID IT!! Even that other bitch was better than that. She said you should put your hand on the glass and let me pull mp out!" He said desperate. This is a rather nice result. If he ever did something stupid I know how to discipline him now. I reach the bridge and find the ship in movement. The landscape was rapidly moving and was like a blur if you didn't pay attention. "Permission to land in Dreki granted. Time until destination is reached 20 minutes. Registration to frequent dungeon complete. Please enjoy the ride and rest before arrival." The AI said. I thank her and sit in my seat and turn on the news. It showed the news reporter I saw this morning talking about how many people coming and claiming to be the winner most of them newbies. Suddenly the old man that passed the money off the me appeared. "Please leave all of you. The winner already appeared this morning and claimed the prize. If you persist you will be arrested." He shouted. Everyone was shocked and complained but when the guards came out everyone left more or less peacefully. I'm rather glad I left the town quickly. I shift through the channels while I waited and soon we arrive at the town. Unlike the massive metropolis of Rokita, Dreki is small. The tower at it's center is currently the tallest building with few large buildings above 3 floors. The city looks to be somewhere from 40-70 km wide from the center in all directions. The ship docks was just outside and had quite a few other recruit class ships but there were many more cruise type ships which are planetary travel ships with ties to a larger cruiser in space. We landed on the spot numbered 25. The surrounding ships were similar to my own. "ALRIGHT LIKES GO KILL!!! Kill kill kill kill!" He began to shout. "SHUT UP...!? Wait, what's your name?" I finally realized I never asked. "Hmm, don't have one. Should be you naming me! GYAHAHAHAH! Come on baby, name daddy." He said. I punched his holograms face with all I had making the entire body disperse. I then began to rub my forehead. "Today is really tiring. Ok lets see...Valmori that's your name." I said. "Lame!" He said out right. "To weird!" He said bluntly. "You know my ship will be named with your name." I told him. "Eh?!" He said. "Seriously!" He said. He looked perplexed. "All the cities and ships with cores are named after them so we choose appropriate names for each." I explained while thinking. "I decided, where or not you like it, your name is Stuss." I said. "Feels like there is a hidden meaning behind it?" He said with a frown. "It means nonsense, rubbish and baloney in some languages." I explain and plug my ears. "YOU WANT TO DIE BITCH!! CHANGE IT NOW!" He shouted. On the other hand I opened the naming panel for the core and punched it in and accept. He went silent as soon as he saw me accept it. "YOU TOTALLY WANT TO DIE BITCH I'LL KILL YOU!" He shouts and the ship's defense system activated aimed at me but suddenly a static wave rippled through him disrupting his hologram. "Hostile intent towards captain and crew. Retraining of core activated. Ten static waves as punishment activate. Control of ship removed from core." A new robotic voice said. At the same moment Stuss dropped to the ground nearly unconscious as a series of waves spread through his hologram. Just desserts I guess. I let him get his punishment while telling the AI to make a firewall against him for the defense systems. She got on it and quickly made it. Soon after the warnings came. "Ship controls taken over, weapon systems and defense systems firewall broken. Core has regain control." The AI said. I simply sigh as I look at the hologram, that was still experiencing the static, stand up. "That fucking piece of shit!! That hurt like shit!!" He shouted. "Are the drones that will follow me ready, Stuss." I said. "Don't call me that. I will accept it as an official name but at least call me by the name I had before dying." He said. "Didn't you not have a name?" I asked. "My old name isn't fucking recognized so I wasn't nameless. Anyway it's Tony so call me that or you might find yourself locked out one of these days." He said in a deadly serious tone. "Fine, me and the crew can call you that but at least know that others will call you Stuss." I told him. He simply clicked his tongue. "Fucking bitch making everything complicated." He muttered. "The fucking drones are in the cargo. I made them a bit bigger to handle the processors for us two to command." He says with a scowl. "Good, there are two others so leave them on patrol and activate the defense system." I tell the AI. "Also warn me if there is an intrusion.” I told them and they simply nod and vanish. I sigh and leave. I go down to the cargo and find the two floating sentry drones. These are half combat drones. They can activate two things, either an energy shield or a laser rifle. I doubt I could tell Tony to be a shield so I tell the AI to activate the shield. We leave after I make sure all the ships systems were working properly. At the docks gates we were met by a goblin kin guard. Unlike monster goblins who are as small as an eight year old and look like old men, goblin kin look like human men with green skin and are considered goblins king until their 12 years of age. We needed to register our entrance. The drones also had a small antenna that would keep their lasers offline unless outside of town or in the dungeon. We clear things rather quickly since everyone is registered to the adventurers association once they graduate after 15 years old so it's easy to find the files. With me already registered all that was left was legalizing the two drones and we were in. The city was built rather nicely. It's not like the steel buildings and so on in Rokita because each city core models the city after the race managing it so the style follow goblin taste. The goblin kin are a far cry from the original goblin race who were stupid to a fault. Because of the academy and the better life style the ranks of it in the monster race was long since evolved and their rapid growth was reduced to the point where they grow from goblin into hob and slowly age into ogre like a human would grow old. Because of this as well as going to the academy's they are as smart as any other and have a wide range of specialization. The city itself is clean with two lane streets asphalted and clean buildings normally colored brown due to the goblins original villages being made of dirt huts or caves The first place I go is the adventurers association. It's a three story building with the sign marking it out. The outside is painted light brown and looks a bit like a high quality restaurant instead of what it really should be. The main reason was on the inside. It was like a large bar near the front. Seats all around and many Goblin girls serving in maid outfits and large ogres chugging beer like water. "GYAHAHAHA!! This place is epic and the goblin chicks are nothing like the fantasies in my previous life. These bitches put the top models to shame." Stuff said. A few people heard him and chuckled as the maids all blushed. "Shut up you perverted core." I said in a low voice. We walked through and headed to the back where the reception desk was. "Greetings how may I help you miss." the reception girl asked. “Yes, my ship's AI registered me to frequent the dungeon for a period, I'm here to register my revive crystal." I said and removed the crystal necklace and hand it over. "One minute please." She says and sticks the gem into a small opening on the side of the desk. The opening was right in the middle of an complex circle. After glowing a moment she pulled out the crystal and handled it back. "Okay, it's done, you have one month before you need to re-register these are the prices for the drops collected by the monsters inside and any bodies removed must be registered and what for what purpose." She said. "For me I need to feed a core." I said. "If it's that then a simple storage ring is enough just make sure the bodies are deposited outside of the city or in whatever place you it is located in." She says. I leave after that and the drones follow. If you're wondering what drops are. They are parts or gear from a dungeon creature. They appear near the dead monster and can range from fangs to weapons. The monster's body doesn't disappear either but only after several minutes. If collected the body will remain but only in storage rings. "Oi! What's the crystal thing for?" Stuss asked "If I am in mortal danger this teleports me out. At the cost of my access to the furthest floor up the tower I have." I tell him. "Now let's go you two." I order both. We head to the tower and enter the first floor. Like any other, the room is supported by pillars but this one only has two since the size doesn't need for more. In the center is the stairway down so I walk that way followed by the drones. The steps were in spiral style but since it had walls you didn't see down only dark walls lit by magic touches. Near the end of the stairway the the scene changed . The brick walls turned into jagged cave walls that had many luminous stones in them glowing a soft blue. Reaching floor one we find a large dome room with rough floors and many corridors. I just pick at random. "You know where you're going?" Stuss asked. "Nope, first time here but it's no different to any other dungeon. Simply choose a path and go. My wrist device has an application to maps the way I go as I walk so it doesn't matter." I tell him. "CRAZY BITCH! YOU NEED TO LEARN ABOUT THE MONSTER YOU WILL FIGHT HERE NOT JUST DIVE IN!!" He shouted. "Geez loud mouth shut up. The dungeon is a basic level dungeon. The residents a demon goblin, winged Demon goblins, shaman demon goblin, warrior, hob devil and the boss at the bottom which varies from a demon ogre or oni." I tell him. "How do you know." He asked. "School. We were taught about basic level dungeons of several towns and that is why I choose this one." I tell him in with a deadpan tone. He quiets down as we enter one of the tunnels. Everything goes back to being rough and uneven on the floor, walls and ceiling making many hiding spots. The AI drone is in front and Stuss has the laser out. The drones are pretty much perfect oval shape like an egg and split down the middle vertically to open the laser or horizontally to activate the shield. In my hand was already both my weapons and the gun charged for rapidfire with 30 mp. I can set the power of each shot from 1 mp so I get rapid fire or max amount charged for a single strong attack. At the moment it's set to shoot with 5 MP each shot so I will get 6 decent shots. After a few minutes of walking we spot a group of three demon goblins. The are scrawny wrinkled and really ugly. I point my gun and fire all my shots. BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! Six fireballs flew at the three. The first wave hit head on throwing them to the wall. It did minimal damage since they have fire attribute and some of them can use fire magic. They get up and start at us with glowing red eyes and yell a high pitched yell. "FUCK!! Fire shoot!!!" Stuss shouts showing fear for some reason. "WAIT STOP SHOOTING YOU WASTE YOUR POWER!" I yell but he unloads his charge in a random fire which the imps dodged. "Tch, AI shield." On my order the AI opened up creating an energy shield around us which cause the imps to slam face first into it. I place my hand on the drone and push mana into it reviving its power. "YOU MORON YOU HAVE A LIMIT!! DON’T FUCKING UNLOAD OR YOU MIGHT SHUT DOWN!!!" I shout and get up. I load a 30 points and set to a single shot. The red gem that is in the spot of old bullet chambers turned from red to yellow. The imps were punching the shield. "Drop the shield." On my order the shield was put down and I shot. [Chain Snake] From the barrel of my gun a bolt of lightning shot and hit the first imp in the chest. It exited from the back and jumped to the next one and did the same finally stopping at the last one. This happened in a fraction of a second. The three imps just stood there releasing smoke after being fried. Moments later they dropped dead. The corridor turned silent after that as the drone stared at me. I walked over and stored the bodies and looked around and found three fangs and pocketed those as well. "Now then...WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!!" I shout while stomping on the drone that was still near the ground. "HUH WHERE DID THE ANNOYING FUCK THAT KEEPS INSINUATING I'M USELESS GO, HUH!!!" I shout and stomp pushing him down onto the ground. "OI OI GET OFF ME BITCH LET ME GO!!! WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF PLACE DID YOU BRING ME TO!! THOSE WERE FUCKING IMPS!! WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY HERE ARE YOU GOING TO HELL OR SOMETHING!!" He shouted back only to be kicked like a ball into the wall. "You MORON!!! I told you we were going to a DUNGEON!! Don't you even KNOW what that IS!! Are you really telling me a core...a DUNGEON core doesn't even know what a monster looks like!!" I shouted. "GYAAHH STOP IT!!! I was caught minutes after I was reborn!! BITCH GET OFF!! I NEVER SAW A FUCKING MONSTER!!!" He shouted. I let him go and took several steps back and leaned against the other wall and slid down and started laughing. "Ah this is great. So, the great cocky bastard that I had so much trouble with was a simple coward who never once saw a real monster. How you reacted even makes me think you're a shut in but that feels about right for someone reborn as a core. You like electronics so that means you to mess with it. No wonder you summoned the drones quicker than some other monster minions. YOU'RE JUST A FUCKING SHUT IN!" I finished saying. There was only silence after that for a good bit as we calmed down. "Oi, how the hell did a newbie do a chained lightning spell? From anime and stories I would guess lightning magic to be sub category." Stuss asked. "It is sub category and I'm only a newbie to adventuring. I went to a magic academy so I got training in marksmanship and magic. My hair color shows my affinity to Fire, Water and Mystic magic." I explain. "Never heard of mystic...wait maybe I have but it's unique to each story. What I know is it's anything that isn't an element." He says. "Wait...isn't lighting part of the wind magic?" He asked curious. "I asked the same thing. The principles of lighting being in the fire category is that both fire and lighting are energy so while wind can cause the phenomenon fire is control." I said. Quiet ruled over the area for a bit more until we heard the sound of bare footsteps. "You really better get over your fear because fuck ups in a dungeon that we don't have the crystal will only get us killed." I said while arming my wand and started drawing a complex figure in the air towards the direction of the footsteps. The drone rose up and armed itself. "GYAHAHAHAHA!! Like hell I'm going to embarrass myself the same way twice." He said At that moment in a bend some 30 meters away a group of 15 imps came running. "Good, now watch how you do AoE Spells here." I said and drew the last point in the middle activating the spell. [Entei] At that moment a giant ball of fire shot out at high speeds and crashed into the group making a resounding explosion and shockwaves. "Better get used to it Stuss, people in our world are dangerous." I said with a grin.
