A young adult who has been recovering from Brittle Bones Disease while playing games with his friends. He has played VR games a total of five times, including The Helix, as such he has some knowledge of VR games. He is referred to many of his old friends as “The Hell Tutor” for his eager attempts at training others as well as himself to reach greater heights. He has interests in nature, has an obsession hobby with reading and specializes in strategic combat.

Savier’s cousin and childhood friend. The two have gone through much together and have mutual respect and disdain towards the quirks of each other. Their familial relationship is solid and they are willing to help each other at a moment’s notice. She is a bit of a Tech-Geek, capable of replicating programming and hardware with ease in a short amount of time. One of her best creations so far is the holographic map of Gaea, the world in which The Helix is currently hosted.

One of Xeno’s pets, the timid Sea Angel who has a hard time expressing herself. While her thoughts are quite complex and is capable of thinking quite clearly, the way she mumbles and has a hard time explaining things makes her look a little bit more childish. With the blessings of the Mother Sea Guardian, her graceful voice possesses the power to heal Wounds, Life, Health, Stamina, and Illness, making her a Healing specialist who gains sublime amounts of mana through several different stats. She hates seeing other hurt.

One of Xeno’s pets, the energetic Blue Dragon Sea Slug mage wannabe! His short life till now has been driven by the desire to learn magic and he has been practicing recklessly till he met Xeno, who began to correct him and teach him how to truly control magic. As such, he hold a lot of respect for Xeno; even when he gets mad at the severity of Xeno’s training he won’t bear a grudge since he knows it’s to make him a better mage. He specializes in Electric Magic, but has a good deal of Affinity for other Elemental Attributed Magics.

One of Xeno’s pets, the overly serious threat that is the Bermudean Mantis Shrimp. After a duel with Xeno, he grew curious as to the nature of his powers and decided to travel with him to oversee his growth. He has a triple set of claws which he can use to punch, slice, stab, or shoot superheated air-bubbles at enemies. As one of the most advanced species of shrimp in terms of evolution, he is VERY strong even when faced against enemies with greater stats then his own. He’s a no-nonsense-kind-of-shrimp.

One of the top knights of the Village of Sed who guides the young recruits into becoming strong warriors to defend the village or hunt for the village’s sustenance. He has a righteous attitude, but will stood lower in order to properly teach his recruits… Within reason.

An elderly Maomer and the Head Librarian of the Village of Sed. He is kind and easygoing, easy to get along with in a short amount of time. He is also quite knowledgeable, knowing the location of most conches within the underground library and their contents.

An old friend of Savier’s and quite a unique gamer who reacts to things as they happen. Unfortunately, during quests and missions, he may cause them to fail do to his antics which may or may not involve throwing the client into a pile of excrement. He has played as a Orc before, but currently seems to be playing as someone from the Dwarven Blood-line.

Savier’s old friend who he wants to get away from after having had to stand her for some years in the previous game world. Very few people are capable of handling her as she has the annoying tendency to keep talking and talking and talking without giving others the chance to respond at all!

The distinguished medic, doctor and veterinarian of the Village of Sed who takes the health of its inhabitants, be they Maomer or animal, very seriously. He has had some strifes with Mc Neel and Sir Sion in the past due to the injuries and bad health of some of the new workers/recruits, but he gets along with then just fine otherwise.

The manager of the Eastern Seaweed fields in the village of Sed and the son of the Elder of said village. He drives his workers hard, with just methods to ensure they give it their all, earning him the scorn and respect of the workers. He has a soft spot for hard working individuals such as Xeno and Dio.

An overachieving butler who works under Mc Nee’s guidance under the Elder’s orders. He maintains the entirety of the operations within the village and is widely respected by everyone. His food is legendary amongst the Maomer, though he seems humble about it. He is quite serious, but cares for those he deems worthy. However, his sense of humor can be hard to grasp sometimes so he’s not an omnipotent butler.

The Elder of the Village of Sed who has been around since the foundation of the village and has overseen its growth. She singlehandedly created the Northern Portion of the village where the original Maomer lived using her vast control over plant-life and algae. She is seemingly kind, but can apparently be VERY terrifying when she gets mad, to the point that Mc Neel, Sir Sion, Josh, and Phio all refuse to go against her will regardless of what it may be!

Mc Neel’s sister and the Manager in charge of the Western portion of the village which is in charge of farming corals and other sedentary animals. She provided help to Xeno in learning some Druid techniques by presenting him to the Coral Smith, Michael.

Gaming Style: Coral Smith, Druid

One of the few Smith Maomers in existence and a very good Coral Smith who uses the natural ability of the Polyps within Corals to make armor. He taught Xeno the basics of Coral Smithing, but was soon left in the dust thanks to Xeno’s integration of unexpected techniques in addition to his own. He’s the one who makes most of the weapons and armor of the village.

The strongest and smartest of the guards under Sir Sion’s command and widely considered a model for the others. He developed respect and something similar to worship of Xeno’s tactics and use of special tools in combat. He may become a great knight in the future thanks to this!

The Warlock in charge of the mage district near the center of the Village of Sed. He is quite quirky to the point he makes others uncomfortable, but he is very good at what he does. Having the same problem with Wisdom that Josh has, he recommended the usage of the Arcane stat to increase his magical potential.

An old friend of Savier’s who has a strong sense of revenge against those who have wronged him, but quick to forgive once revenge is given. He is the Lieutenant of Tark Norm, the Sky Isle that was accidentally anchored by Xeno. He was later on saved by Xeno from enemy Avariel attackers. He has since tried to develop friendly relationships between the Icarians and the Maomer.

Once the plan of the Avariel failed to eliminate the enemy due to the involvement of Blood-Traitors, he has determined to go all out with war against the Maomer. He is currently on his way to his home city to report this betrayal and get the gears moving…

First appearing in the Prelude, Lila is the reporter who usually presents all information regarding recent events in The Helix. She has become a bit of a staple in the program, as her absence usually means lower viewership.

A top interviewer who works on the same agency as Lila. He is quite a bit jealous of her popularity, which makes him commit some mistakes during his interviews due to his foul mood. He is well liked by the female viewers as he is a hunk, so the directors have been unable to cut him off the program much to their chagrin.
