I decided to do a double release today in order to progress the story a bit more, but please note that this is an exception as I still have very little time due to exams and projects at my university.

Chapter 038 - Beginning Of A Long Day

By Skalsar

Business was running smoothly for Sora.

Whenever she entered the village, she earned scornful looks from some of the female villagers.

Mothers hid their daughters and sons.

But on the same time.. felt envy, as nearly every man and boy were staring at the female creature.

Watching her every step and nearly drooling, the men couldn't stop themselves.

Even some females had it hard passing her sweet fragrance without looking at her chest and butt.

She was nearly naked, but had still a more charming than exciting appearance.

How that combination was possible?

Because she was still a monster with weird bat-like wings, if watched from afar.

Her skin was smooth and pale, but her lips were red.

As were her eyes.

From the stories of adventurers who met her in the lower layers of the hive, they knew that while her clawlike hands looked dangerous, she could use them quite skillfully. Without hurting anything.

But still, there was that rumor about her being absolutly exhausting.

Older men would possibly die from her affection.

But as a matter of fact, no one knew about her draining the life-force of her adorer.

Instead, she was a welcome guest in the village, unlike Blazer who would cause a commotion.

Merchants were still sceptical though, because she always looked at the goods but never bought.

And they knew she had money.

She had even bought a house in the village.

And turned it into a brothel.

The [Village Chief] and even the [Local Lord] wanted to deny her, but couldn't win the argument.

Whenever they talked about it with her, she would step near and enchant them with her sweet voice and fragrance. Slowly stroking their legs with her tail.

Just moments later the two men would flee.

They knew she was dangerous in that way.

But they simply were weak towards her.

Some woman tried to stop her too, but too many men were on her side.

They would pay quite the sum for just an hour of her time.

Not much later, even more succubi were breed within the hive in order to help her out.

Besides the livestock, the income of magic power through her means were enorm.

Even cleaning her body was turned into a show, as she had created a [Slime] with the element water.

Watching the females in the hives prison, being force-fed by [Slimes] had her thinking.

The moaning and arousel that came with it.

Only difference was that she was enjoying the cleaning through the [Slime].

>Th.. this is disgraceful.. If the church knew..

But the villagers didn't care.

Neither did the adventurers.

How was it that just because of her sexuality, the monster was accepted?

>It's addictive..Rego was shocked by that remark.

But if the villagers and even the travelers accepted the succubi, there was nothing to do about it.

>At least, we should place [Guards] before the brothel. He had just returned and looked for Rego and Odas all over town.

Just to find them staring at the brothel.

>But if you guys want to go in that much, maybe you just should do it.>That is absolutly not the case!>How dare you even imply such a thing!>We have more important things to discuss.. I.. have to tell you something, mylord.

The atmosphere grew heavy.

>Did something happen?>Don't worry, it's fine.

Left out again, the [Novize Cleric] Lant could only sigh, with his big brother Mardo walking away with the lord and chief.

>So..?

>Well..>Oh please don't propose.

Naturally, Odas and Mardo couldn't laugh about that.

>Forgive me, mylord.

I have to confess that I have been spying on this village.

Odas face hardened.

Saying: >Go on.

>Wait! What! Stop this!If he had spied for another lord, that could mean the death sentence for Mardo.

But Odas signaled for Rego to be silent.

>After my village was destroyed, the church of Legra'Nis had offered me help.

For the promise to give them information on this settlement.

>What for?

>They wanted to set foot on your territory.

But because of the rural areas, there wasn't a need for them by the people in your lands.

>Why are you telling me this now?

>I failed them and tried to stall for time.

So they banished me and declared to send someone else.

I fear that they will.. take a more direct approach.

Rego was trying to think about what Mardo just said.

If this was true, that could mean quite some problems in the future.

>Legra'Nis, the higher deity of the farmlands..

They are quite demanding and tend to seize control over the farmers.

I tried to keep them out because of that reason.

>What informations did you give them?

>That..

I told them about Lant and the [Queen], the orcs, as well as that the dungeon already is a [Greater Dungeon]. And..

>And?

>Well.. I.. before they threw me out in disbelieve.. I told them, the village had established trade with the dungeon..

Odas and Rego went pale.

If they were to believe him, that.. No.

They threw him out because they didn't believe him.

But still, that information was quite a problem.

>How could you, boy..>I will have to send you to jail for now.

Mardo nodded.

>But there is more.>Huh?>There was a girl in [Zil City].>There are many girls, say what you want to say.>I brought her with me to [Mafay Village], she told me, a monster had taken the [Dungeon Heart] from the cities dungeon. A monster she had seen before, when she was in this village.

Odas and Rego looked startled.

>Where is that girl?

>She is currently looking around for a boy named Gram who was supposed to meet her here, but seems to nowhere to be found. I don't completly know the details.

Well.. and.. she is a slave.

>A slave?

That is troublesome.

Does her owner know she is here?

Mardo shook his head.

That wasn't good.

Every slave was to be sent back to their owners and denied hospitality by edict of the king, if fled.

Just this morning, Odas had gotten a letter from a nobleman, to inform him if a female slave was seen anywhere without her owner.

Most likely that was about her.

>I will have to send [Guards] to capture her.>Please listen to her first, before doing so.

>I shouldn't have developed this settlement.. It really only causes trouble..

>You're quite demanding, spy.

Lowering his head, Mardo grew silent.

>Please don't tell Lant about my mistakes.

>We will talk about you later, for now I have other things to do.<, Odas lastly said, before leaving.
