《Otherworldly》*Hiatus Announcement — ETA 12/31*

Let’s start with: I won’t be giving up on this project. Actually the opposite. I’m taking some time to decide where I want this to go, pull back some things I jumped to far ahead on, and generally tighten up the writing.
Eunora is by far one of my favorite characters, but when I started writing I wasn’t sure what the right balance of internal monologue vs action vs LITRPG elements would be —I also didn’t take the time to fully flesh out the system. Now, I’ve taken this perspective in a different work and have grown into being able to write the balance.
Anyway, the point is, I need to rearrange and in some cases fundamentally change some things. Otherworldly will be back by the end of the year, maybe earlier, but in the meantime I’m going to be putting up a couple other projects, one is a Harry Potter reincarnation fic that I’m using to help me hone my 1st person POV skills. I started writing it after the last chapter of Otherworldly so it’s quality is stupid high in comparison.
You can imagine my frustration with that lol

But, should the people of this modern time discover who Amon once was, he fears they would put an end to the bard technologist's tale. I've been writing Spot of Mummery since 2018, so there's quite a backlog of story to post! This story was also written before the changes made to lore released in the Endwalker expansion (December 2021). I got to thinking "what if a beast tamer was changed by what they tamed" and this game mechanic sprung to mind. I do not know where this story is going. The main character is becoming a skill hoarder, as that is an advantage of the class design. The game system in this story is insipred by Log Horizon and Sword Art Online, where you get a skill and that is the skill, instead of getting a skill and then leveling it through tiers and rankings.

Its been three moths since Hawkmoth has been defeated, two months since Marinettes parents died, and one month sice she was adopted. Marinette has had a hard life. She became Ladybug at thirteen,deafeted Hawkmoth mostly herself , her parents died only a moth after , most of her friends hate her , along with many other things. So saying she had a hard life is an understandment .but Jagged Stone happily adopted her. So she is now Marinette Stone. She is also Clara Nightingales honary niece. After her junior year she moves to Gothom with her new family and friends.
