11/29: she dislikes greek mythology. what's a better irony?

she keeps the sun trapped

in the specks of gold

that her irises hold.

Apollo wants them back.

if you listen closely,

you'd hear a heart break

with every step she takes.

Aphrodite would be happy.

her skin holds voltages

strong enough to revive

yet simultaneously take my life.

she's certainly Zeus's.

passersby pause when they hear her name.

they kneel on the floor, their heads bowed,

and stay still, none would dare make a sound.

olympus's gods would be put to shame.
