Cameron and I went into the kitchen.
"What kind of pizza do you want?" He asked, pulling out his phone.
"Uh, whatever. I don't care." I said, jumping on the counter.
"Ok, you good with just pepperoni?" Cameron said, dialing the number and holding his phone to his ear.
"Yup." I nodded, crossing your legs.
The pizza place answered and Cameron ordered a large pepperoni pizza.
He hung up. "It should be here in less than half an hour."
"Ok." I nodded.
The two of us sat in an awkward silence for a while.
"Uh, are you ok?" Cameron finally said.
"What?" I asked, turning to him.
"Ya know, after what Kian talked to you about. You seemed pretty pissed." He explained.
"Oh, yeah." I said, probably turning red.
"Why's Jordyn blushing?" Nash yelled.
I turned and saw Nash come into the kitchen.
"She is not!"
"I don't believe you."
"Is she really?"
Yells came from where everyone else was.
"I am not." I whined.
Kian came into the kitchen, being pushed by Andrea.
She led him to the backyard and closed the door behind them.
"That was weird." Cameron said.
I nodded.
We waited until the pizza finally got here.
Cameron and I payed for it them took it into the kitchen.
"Can I have some?" Jc asked.
Him and Nash had followed us into the kitchen.
"Oh, can I have a piece?" Lauren yelled from the living room.
Cameron and I exchanged a look.
We had payed for this, it was our pizza.
"Wanna eat it upstairs?" I asked.
"Yes." Cameron nodded.
"Ok." I said.
Cameron grabbed the pizza and followed me up the stairs to my room.

"Everyones gonna say stuff." Cameron said, with a mouthful of pizza.
"What do you mean?" You mumbled, picking the pepperoni off of your piece and eating it.
"Their just going to make jokes and say we're 'totally going out'." He said the last part in a white girl mocking voice.
I just nodded, knowing thats exactly what was going to happen.
"But I don't care." Cameron said, then looked at me hesitantly.
"What?" I said.
"I wouldn't care if they said stuff like that." He said, taking another bite of pizza.
"Oh yeah, and why's that?" I asked.
Cameron didn't say anything.
"Cameron?" I said slowly.
"Because, you know. You're really cool and hot and stuff. And I might like you." The more he talked the softer his voice got.
I shook my head, thinking I didn't hear him right. "Huh?"
"You heard me." Cameron mumbled.
I bit my lip, now knowing what to say.
"You don't have to say anything." He said. "I just had to get that off my chest."
Nodding, I picked up a piece of pizza and bit into it.
Before i had even finished the slice of pizza, Perrie and Andrea burst through the door with Lauren, Arden, and Jenn right behind them.
"Uh, hi?" I said.
"Hey guys." Cameron said, stuffing the crust in his mouth.
"Hi, can we talk to Jordan?" Andrea said really fast.
"Sure." He stood up and grabbed another slice of pizza, and leaving the room.
As soon as he left and closed the door behind him, the girls all squealed and jumped on the bed.
I jumped slightly, not expecting the noise.
"Oh my god!"
"What did you guys talk about?"

"Kian is not going to like this."
"Did he say anything?"
"Did you say anything?"
I was bombarded with questions.
"Oh my god guys, I can't even hear myself think." I said, making them stop talking.
"So what happened?" Perrie finally said after a moment of silence.
I told them everything that happened after we both went up to my room.
"Wait, so he actually admitted that he liked you?" Jenn said.
I nodded.
"What did you say?" Arden asked.
"Nothing." I bit my lip.
"Nothing?" Andrea raised her eyebrows at me.
I nodded again, more slowly.
No one said anything, but they all exchanged looks.
"He said I didn't have to, that he just wanted to tell me." I said quickly.
The girls all nodded.
"What are you going to do?" Lauren asked.
"I don't know." I said, biting my lip again.
Everyone started asking me questions again, but I seriously could not talk about this right now.
Sensing my discomfort, Perrie held her hands up.
"Guys, stop. Leave her alone." She said.
The others stopped talking and looked at me. They could tell I was uncomfortable.
I refused to make eye contact with anyone.
Taking off my glasses, I put my hands over my face and rubbed.
"I have a headache." I muttered, mostly to myself, but the girls heard.
They all muttered stuff and started leaving the room.
Perrie stayed behind though.
I took off my glasses and we both laid down on my bed, facing each other.
It wasn't weird for us to be in this position or anything, because Perrie is like my sister.
"I think you should go out with him." She said.
"Why?" I asked, not in a rude way, but actually wanting to know a reason.
"Well obviously he likes you." She started, making me roll my eyes.
Obviously I had heard that a time or two, or ten.
"And I still think you like him back." Perrie said.
This time, I didn't argue with her, I just laid there, thinking.
"I'm not sure yet." I said after a while.
"I'm not saying you either need to admit it and go out with him or find someone else. I just have this feeling..." She trailed off.
We talked for a while about other things, her new boyfriend one of the major ones, until we fell asleep.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Kind of a shorter chapter, but I just wanted to get an update out for you guys.
This story is actually sort of going somewhere, so claps for me.
Sorry it took so long for me to update, but days have been going by so fast and I just will find myself in bed going to sleep, and realize I hadn't written anything all day.
Although for school, testing is coming up in the beginning of May, and we are started block schedule, so I will either update no problem, or won't update until after all the tests are over.

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Trying to discover his place in the world, Jerry will live great adventures. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.
