I knew my bear would be home at any moment. I wanted to surprise him. I have been taking cooking lessons with Chief Amore. Every day I would sneak out and meet Chief at his restaurant. He taught me to be patient and not to rush cooking. It was like an intricate dance that when taking the right steps it would flow seemingly.

Never rush anything that is worth waiting for, he would often tell me. He said food needed encouragement and to caress it gently and the results would be marvelous. So I did everything he taught me. I took my time and I was so proud of the results. I was cooking and the food tasted great.

I turned on some music and set out all the ingredients that I needed to prepare our meal. I sprinkle garlic and lemon on the salmon and put them in a cast iron skillet and seared it on both sides for about 4 minutes. Then I popped it into the over for 20 minutes.I grabbed the red potatoes and put them into the boiling pot of water. I started singing and I was actually loving cooking for my mate.

Everything was coming together so nicely. I wanted Seth to be proud of me taking the initiative to learn how to cook and be good at it. I fixed our plates and put them on the table. I pulled out the Salmon and finished cooking rice and asparagus. For dessert I baked walnut, honey bars. I had everything done just in the nick of time. I could hear my bear walking up the steps. I took my seat and I couldn't help to giggle when he came into the kitchen. His eyes were so wide they looked like saucers. I got up and walked over to him wearing only an apron with nothing underneath.

"So my sexy bear. I thought it would be nice for me to cook for you and give you a break. I hope you will like everything."
