'Poor judge of character'
'We'll meet again. Don't know when, don't know where. But I know we'll meet again, some sunny day. Keep smiling through, just like you, always do.'
It had been exactly three months since I had to deal with stray kids. Three months full of stress, paranoia. And sleep deprivation. Life was... different to say the least. But at least I was away from them. Or... at least I though I was.
I luckily didn't have any broken bones from the incident, surprisingly. But it was largely bruised and bloody. I had frequent nose bleeds, but I was on medication prescribed by my surgeon, and recommended by my doctor. Even though it had been a few months, with no activity or contact from stray kids. I was still paranoid, like something was just sitting at the back of my skull, like I knew what to expect, except I didn't.
I had explain to my parents that my phone had broke, so that's why I couldn't contact them. I don't work at that little cafe anymore, I work from home now for a real estate company. Working at home made me feel much more safe. Although I did miss my old job at that rundown, little cafe... I wonder how Soobin is?
I did consider going to the police and telling them everything that happened, about the kidnapping, about Sieun. But then I realised that this was stray kids I was talking about. They had complete control over the police, I had learnt much more about stray kids over the past few months. I was practically an expert.
I had learnt that there is eight of them, they have been active since late 2017, and they are the biggest mafia gang in not only South Korea, but in Asia as a whole.

I remember going to the nearby library, to study for an upcoming test I had at university, sitting in the uncomfortable blue chair, a textbook in my hand, my mind began to wonder. I was starting to feel better about everything, but the man who was obviously the boss, I just couldn't seem to get his ominous words out of my head. We'll meet again, we'll meet again, we'll meet again. We'll meet again. WE'LL MEET AGAI- "uh excuse me."
My troubled thoughts were abruptly brought to an end as I looked up to see a man with a friendly, and attractive smile. I was lost in thought for a second before his smooth voice broke me out of my trance.
"How much longer will you be with that text book?" I glanced back at the old text book that rested in my left hand. "Oh I'm done with it." I flashed him a kind smile before handing him the book.
Before we knew it, three hours had past. We were sitting opposite each other, and spoke about our interests, our lives, our careers, everything really. He was perfect, we had very similar interests and it was nice to speak to someone who I didn't have to feel paranoid around.
The strict librarian hurried over to our empty table before resting her wrinkled, ringless hands on the table top, and leaning forward, warning us that the library would close in two minutes, wow, time really flies by fast huh.
The man let out a shocked laugh at the time, as the woman walked away. "It was amazing meeting you and talking to you." He sweetly grinned at me before getting up. "Wait... what's your number? So that we can stay in contact you know?" I wanted to keep in contact with him as he was very kind and seemed to be a good friend.

He fumbled in his pockets for his phone, and we transferred numbers. "What's your name." I questioned him, looking up at him at he slipped his phone back into his pocket. "Oh it's Seungmin."

Seungmin!" The Australian boss held his glass filled with alcohol high, proposing a toast. Seungmin laughed cruelly and swirled his alcoholic beverage around in his glass.
"So, what did you think of her?" Bangchan questioned him as he set his glass down in the glass table after taking a small sip. "She was so much better than you described." Seungmin also rested his glass on the table, along with the abandoned and unneeded text book.
"But I am worried about him." Seungmin looked at Chan as his face fell into a shape of concern. "Don't worry, he won't be suffering for much longer. After all, we all know that if Minho wants something or someone. He'll get that something or someone."
Both men cruelly smirked as they discussed their future plans for dear little [name]. "If I'm honest, I think I'm starting to see why Lee know likes her so much." Seungmin picked up his half full glass, and took another big gulp of his, the contents burning the back of his throat. Bangchan looked up at him as sickeningly grinned at his fucked up friend. "That is absolutely great Seungmin, because so am I." Both men glanced up at each other, evil smirks painted onto their perfect faces. "After all, it's only a matter of time before we see her again. And you best believe me, that time will come very, very soon."

Sorry for the short chapter, this is really just a filler chapter, and is only used to introduce Seungmin and show how lovesick the others are becoming.
Sorry if there are a lot of mistakes in this, I'm very tired as I also have an art exam tomorrow that I'm stressing about lmao, also I think for the new story I'm writing, I'll write it after I've finished this one. The reason is, I have loads of ideas for different stories, but I don't wanna start a new one until I've finished this one because I'll end up abandoning this one and not finishing it. This goes to any stories that I write now and in the future. Stay face :)

Red Street Daybreak
August Samuel Hatch was born under an inauspicious pattern of stars. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system. Completed, but being actively edited prior to posting! I'm the only captain on this ship, so mind any errors.
