I don't care what he gets me for my birthday, I just want him to accept my love for him.

Jaemin was reading all the birthday wishes from NCTzens on Instagram when Jeno walked in the room, again.

"Nana, I will ask you one last time, what would you like for your birthday?"

Jaemin wanted to respond with something like, I would like you to kiss me and love me, but it's too soon for that.

"Jeno, I told already, I'm fine with anything you give me, I don't care as long as it comes from the heart."

Was that a big hint? How dumb is Jeno? Is he seriously not noticing the way I look at him? Hmpf, I guess people are right, beauty does sacrifice brains.

"Okay, I will be back later to celebrate with you! Bye Jaemin!~"

"See you later Jeno! Bye!"

--Time skip later that day--

Jaemin has been practicing confessing all day in front of his mirror, cliché right? It was Jaemin's birthday but he couldn't bottle up his feelings anymore because they began to overflow. The way Jeno took care of him when he was hurt, how he was always there even if he wasn't there physically, his cute eye smile, the soothing sound of his voice, and so many more things about Jeno is what made Jaemin melt and love him even more.

The door unlocked, meaning Jeno was home. Jaemin shut the bathroom light off and ran to the living room before Jeno could catch him practicing.

"Umm....Jaemin?" Jeno sounded nervous and worried which made Jaemin panic a bit.

"Jeno? Are you okay? What's wrong? Are you hurt? Why do you sound sad? Please, tell me what's wrong!"

"J-Jaemin...I am so sorry, I am terrible best friend...I-I know you w-won't like your gift, b-but...please take time to think about it...please."

"Are you seriously worried I won't like your gift?! Jeno, I don't care what you get me for my birthday, I just want you to accept my love for you. I love you Jeno! I have loved you more than a best friend for a long time! What I don't understand is, why didnt you notice me?! I know you don't like me the way I like you but you could at least acknowledge it!!! YOU STOLE MY HEART LEE JENO!!!"

Jaemin had tears streaming down his face when Jeno's hand carefully wiped them away.

"Your mad at me for not noticing that you liked me? Well excuse me but you never seemed to noticed my feelings for you."

Jeno smiled at Jaemin's confused facial expression.

"I love you too, I love you so much Nana, you dont know how I have tried so hard to contain my feelings for you, I just can't take it, you make me crazy, I think about you every second of the day, and I think it's time you see my gift...*pulls a small box out of a bag*...Jaemin, will you be my boyfreind?"

Jeno was holding the tiny box open to reveal a promise ring. Jaemin went from confused to ecstatic.

"WHAT?! ARE YOU FOR REAL?! OMG THIS IS HAPPENING!!! YES JENO, OF COURSE!!!!"

Jaemin jumped into Jeno for a hug amd Jeno slipped the ring on to his finger.

--Time skip to an hour later--

The JaeNo couple was cuddling on the couch watching Disney movies when Jeno pulled Jaemin into a passionate kiss. When they pulled back from each other, Jeno said

"You are mine, and I still can't believe it, happy birthday cutie, I love you."

"Gosh, you really know how to make me internally die, you are so soft I love it...but not as much as I love you. Lee Jeno you are a blessing."

"And you are an angel, Na Jaemin."
