"No strings attached." That was the only rule that the both of you agreed on before starting this 'relationship' if that's what you call it.

But you know, meeting someone when you're on the verge of giving up is like a new ray of hope. You happened to meet Jaemin when you thought everything was crumbling down. He was that savior but without those capes and superpowers.

But he's not perfect. He doesn't like serious relationships. He told you that even after you confessed your love for him. It broke your heart, of course. But what you didn't understand was, after he rejected you, one day he asked you to be in this kind of relationship.

No string attached, just, plain sex. He doesn't cuddle, he doesn't stay overnight and you weren't sure if you're the only one. You thought before that maybe, maybe this could work.

"Aren't you tired of this?" you quietly asked while watching him grab his clothes.

He looked at you briefly and said, "No, why'd you asked?"

You sighed as his reply, looking unsatisfied. "I'm tired of this, I want a serious relationship with you!" you frustratingly said.

"If you're going to keep acting like this, I'm just going to leave" he sighed opening the door.

He stopped walking for a moment, with that you had that stupid hope again. "I just want us to be official, I don't want this fuck buddies relationship, please" you pleaded. You know you sounded so stupid while saying these words, but he's the only guy you loved. You wanted this to work so bad.

"I thought we agreed on this?" he said, giving you a look.

"Can't you change? Even at least for me?" you said, whispering the last part.

There was silence, and then more silence. He wouldn't throw away a three-year relationship, right?

You heard the door closing, you happily looked up and found

No one. He left.

"I guess you aren't ready yet" you whispered, with tears on your eyes.

He broke your heart, again.
