While Delilah and Rosalie had professed their love for each other and were now on cloud nine, not everything was as smooth sailing for the couple.

"You need to apologise."

The words caused laughter to bubble up from Delilah's throat there was no way she'd heard that correctly. "To whom?" She spoke as the pair walked back to the Cullen house from the woods.

"My family." Rosalie stated, her golden eyes focused on Delilah's figure.

Again, a laugh fell from Delilah's lips, "I don't apologise. You're the only person I'd ever apologise to." And maybe Bella, "It's not a very Volturi guard thing to do. Besides, why should I apologise? I didn't do anything wrong."

There were multiple things that Rosalie disagreed with in Delilah's sentence, but only one was worth talking about, "You aren't part of the guard."

"Yes I am." Delilah spoke as if it was the most obvious thing.

"No you are not." For some reason, Rosalie couldn't bring herself to accept that the girl she knew deep down was so caring and sweet, would be part of something so evil.

"I am." Delilah stared straight ahead, she wasn't bothered about many people's opinions anymore, but if there was one thing she cared about more than anything, it was Rosalie's opinion. She didn't want her to think that she was a bad person- even though arguably she was. "I'm quite possibly the best member."

"I doubt that when there's Jane."

"Please." Delilah scoffed, even though she knew Jane was far more valuable than herself, "Jane wishes she was me, she was so jealous of me."

"Did Jane like you?"

"Yeah, she was the Karen to my Regina." Arguably it was the other way round, depending on who you asked.

"I don't mean like that," Delilah stopped her walking through the woods, turning to look at Rosalie, "I mean did she like like you."

The words were almost enough for Delilah to burst out laughing. "Oh yeah, Jane really fancied me. In fact she was my new lover. I spent every night tangled up in her sheets."

Obviously the words were lies, it would be clear to anyone that it wasn't the truth, but apparently it wasn't to Rosalie, "What? How could you do that?"

It was so cruel, even crueler that Delilah got a slight kick out of it, "I'm kidding," She shoved an elbow into the brunettes side, "Duh." The angry face of Rosalie smoothed out, but Delilah could still sense a bit of jealously simmering behind it, "What about you, any new lovers while I was away?"

The blonde shrugged, a small smile making its way into her face, "If you count Desperate Housewives as a lover, then yes."

A squeal sounded from Delilah as her feet left the floor for a second, it was almost as if she was back to the human she used to be, "You've been watching Desperate Housewives? That's the best news ever! Who's your favourite character? You're such a Bree."

The blonde scoffed, "I am not a Bree."

The newborn rolled her eyes, "Sure.....who do you think I am?"

"Gaby."

"Oh that's so typical!" Delilah sighed, "Everyone wants to be Gaby, I don't!....I wanna be like.....Susan or something."

"You're no Susan."

"So what? I'm an adulterer who has an affair with 17 year olds? Okay, Rose. If I'm Gaby, you're Lynette."

"I am not Lynette. No one wants to be Lynette." The blonde pushed the front door open, oblivious to the voices she could hear in the upstairs room.

"Thats exactly why you're Lynette."

"You can't punish me because you're Gaby. Everyone wants to be Gaby." Rosalie started walking up the stairs, Delilah walking just a little behind her.

"Exactly, it's just so," Both of the girls froze as they reached the top of the stairs, they're eyes resting on the couple who stood in front of them,"......mainstream." Was the only utter that fell from the girls lips.

"What are you doing back?" Rosalie stepped forward, her hand dropped from Delilah's as she looked at her brother and his new wife. "You were supposed to be gone a few days." This was bound to ruin her time with Delilah.

"Bella's pregnant." Alice muttered from her place next to Jasper.

The quiet words caused everything to freeze from both Delilah and Rosalie. It should have been impossible, but clearly it wasn't, her family would not lie about this.

A human was pregnant with a vampires baby.

And just like that, Bella had everything that Rosalie had always wanted.

A baby.

Edward had given Bella something that Delilah could never give Bella. Something that in truth, she never wanted to give anyone. Delilah hated children, they were always screaming about something, or had ungodly amounts of snot dripping from their noses. They also took a lot of attention away from the main attraction, which was Delilah.

She honestly could not stand the things. She believed they were truly a gift from hell.

And get here Bella Cullen was, stood before them carrying the next anti-christ.

"We were only gone for the night." Was all Delilah could bring herself to say. She'd only just gotten her Rosalie back and now here she was, undoubtedly about to be stolen away by some hell raiser.

"If only it were longer." It hadn't taken long for Edward to throw a snide remark in there.

"Edward," Delilah threw her enemy a smile, "I'm learning to keep my opinions to myself, so maybe you should learn to keep, things, to yourself."

If looks could kill, Edward would have sent Delilah through the ground, "You are such-"

"Ah, Ah," The brunette wiggled her finger before pointing it at Bella, "No rude words in front of the pregnant lady."

"She's not going to be pregnant much longer."

Almost every eyebrow in the room was raised, "Oh, how far along are you, Izzy?"

At the nickname a large smile broke out on Bella's lips, it looked like Delilah was her friend again. Unfortunately she just couldn't work out the sarcasm, "We don't-"

"-I mean because she isn't having it."

"Oh pro-choice," Now a real smile was on Delilah's lips, she was having far too much fun with this, "So we do have something in common."

"You don't think I should have the baby?" For some reason, Delilah's opinion on the pregnancy mattered more to Isabella than anyone in the world. It didn't matter if Edward wanted it, or if Carlisle thought it was safe, all that mattered was what Delilah thought.

"Did I say that?" Delilah shot back, "I didn't, obviously. But still, I don't really think this is a good idea." The newborn would never admit it, but she still had that same soft spot for Bella that she'd always had. She might never forgive her for the things she was complicit in, but for some reason, she could never let her love for the girl go.

"Who would have thought we would be allies?"

"Allies?" Delilah scoffed at Edward, "You would never be my ally. I'm far too good to be your ally...... I just want what's best for Bella." It was almost painful for Delilah to admit that last part, "And this thing, isn't good for anyone."

"Lilah," The dame soft hand that Delilah loved so much was clasped around hers again, "It would be good for us."

Shit.

Maybe Rosalie was a Lynette after all.
