Hey guys I'm right on time for valentine's day anyway I'm writing a historical fiction story based on gothic romances, so if you like Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights type of love stories stick around chapter one coming soon... But here are some of the characters and in no way am I comparing my writing level to classics just a mark of the kind of story to expect.
Miss Alice Stewart is a poor girl, recently fatherless with a mother and two younger siblings to take care when she finds a job in service as a maid with her aunt Mrs. Green. Soon the family she works for loses money and lets go of her, in need of work to help her family she finds herself with a new job. As a new maid at the mysterious old Stanley Household except she has no idea who she'll be going working for, and can't even begin to expect how upside down things really are in another's man land. And as a rule of Victorian society when everything is hidden, everything is whispered and concealed where does the truth begin and where does fiction end? To Alice the only thing she seems to know for sure is that there is much to be afraid....
