G: "yeah timmy looked so good"

D: "aye you should be loyal to your guy josh"

G: "i met him literally less than 2 hours ago and the only encounter we had was getting checked in or whatever"

D: "im hungry, wanna go to the small cafe that's like 10 mins away from here?"

"yes please"

G: "so down yup!!"

we walk to the small cafe we went to almost all the time last summer, it felt good going back. we went so often we had become friends with the people that work there and that they knew our order like the back of their hand. but after break we slowly stopped going which kinda sucked...

D: "what if they forget us?"

"i really doubt they did"

G: "mmm, you never knowww"

"GIA!", i nudged 

G: "just sayinnnnn", she says shrugging her shoulders

we get to the cafe. it still looked the same, i liked that. it felt like home and nostalgic.

we opened the door and hear the bell ring when doing so. we look at the counter and see the same lady from last year, it was mary. shes a very old woman and has been working there for a long long time. we've grown a huge bond, she tells us about her old relationship stories, funny stories, shes also taught us how to bake. she was like our grandma and we loved her dearly.

M: "oh my gosh. is that y/n, gia, and devy?", she says with a huge smile

"MARY OH MY GOD"

G: "we've missed you oh my"

M: "i thought you forgot about this place!"

D: "UH- ABSOLUTLEY NOT!", she says shocked

"you know, school and stuff"

M: "sit, sit ill get your drinks!"

we smile and sit down. as we waited we ended up going on TikTok and showing each other the funny ones.

a few minutes later, mary comes with our drinks and places them down. we thank her as she goes back to help the other costumers. we finish our drinks and get going, it was only 3 pm so we decided to go and walk around. the quiet breeze was very rare, especially in los angeles so we just walked and enjoyed it.
