Skylar, Thebe, and Travis ended up staying at Tyler's house all day again. Everyone was just chilling on the couch watching a movie that was starting on t.v. Along the way Skylar somehow fell asleep on Thebe's lap. Her head was rested on Thebe's lap and Thebe's hand was around her face. He was stroking her hair while admiring her. It seemed like all he did now a days was admire her. She was too beautiful. How can someone be this beautiful? Thebe thought to himself.
He sensed someone was watching him so he looked up. He saw Tyler was staring at him and gave him a look while looking at Skylar. Thebe shook his head back at him knowing what that meant. I mean Tyler wasn't wrong but Thebe didn't wanna tell him that he was right.
Tyler sighed and shook his head. Tyler could easily tell that Thebe liked her but he knew that Thebe didn't wanna tell him for some reason.
Thebe went back to stoking her hair and in a few seconds Skylar woke up again. She looked around her surroundings for a few seconds till she realized she was still at Tyler's place. She looked at Thebe and smiled at him while lifting her head off his lap. Thebe watched her every move as she got up and up the stairs till she disappeared.
She went up the guess room where her and Thebe slept and got her stuff which was really just her wet clothes but was a little dry now. She got her phone and saw that she had a missed call from Hodgy that was 2 hours ago. She dialed his number again and waited. After a few seconds he picked up.
"Hey." Hodgy said.
"Hey you called?"
"Yeah actually Trenton did. He was missing around with my phone and I guess he called you."
Skylar chuckled.
"Oh alright."
"Yeah. He actually wanted to see you."
Skylar chuckled again and smiled. Trenton was too cute she thought.
"Yeah uh how bout tomorrow. It's pretty late right now." Skylar responded .

"Yeah sure."
"Alright bye."
"Later."
She hung up and went back downstairs. She reached Thebe and Tyler and Travis but Travis was sleeping on the floor.
"Hey I'ma head home." Skylar said looking at Thebe dangling her car keys.
"Oh alright hold up." Thebe said getting up off the couch and collecting his phone off the table.
"You can stay here again. I'll pick you up tomorrow if you want." Skylar said to him.
Thebe looked at her and shook his head.
"No I'll go home with you." Thebe said.
Skylar nodded and went back to Tyler.
"Thanks for letting us crash here Tyler." Skylar said to him while hugging him and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"It's no problem." Tyler said getting up off the couch hugging her as well.
Skylar walked over to Travis who was still asleep and kissed his cheek.
"Say bye to Travis for me when he wakes up." Skylar said waving bye to Tyler.
Tyler nodded and looked back at Thebe who was walking towards him.
They gave each other a bro hug and Tyler looked at him.
"Go for it." Tyler said to him while looking behind Thebe.
Thebe looked behind too and saw that Skylar was already walking out the door. He looked back at Tyler and shook his head without saying a thing. Thebe stepped over Travis and walked out the door. Skylar was already in the car waiting for Thebe who came in seconds later. Skylar started the car and started driving back to her house.
"You wanna sleep over again or drive you back to your place." Skylar asked.
"Can I sleep over yours please?" Thebe asked giving a big cheesy smile at her.
Skylar chuckled and nodded.
"Yeah. Your mom and you still fighting?"
"Yeah." Thebe muttered.
"You gotta talk to her. It's been like what a week already that you guys haven't talked."
Thebe shook his head. It has been a week since him and his mom talked. It seems like the last few months all they did was fight now. He loves her but he just needed a break from her right now. That's why he asked Skylar if he could crash at her place for a while. Which has been a week by now that's he's been staying at her place.

"I know but it just seems like all we do is fight now." Thebe answered back after a while.
Skylar stopped at a red light and looked over at Thebe. She could tell he was hurting inside. Skylar's mom kicked her out when she was 18 and never saw her again and well her dad was never around. She grieved everyday for her mom even though she kicked her out she still loved her and she knows Thebe misses his own mom even though it's only been a week.
The light turned green and Skylar drove again. Thebe looked over at her this time and sighed. He was hurting inside. All the fights with his mom that he's been having and not to mention, it seems like him and Skylar are fighting a lot all of the sudden. Even though it only lasts for like 2 hours.
"What are you doing tomorrow?" Thebe asked her.
Skykar looked over at him really quickly but faced back to the road.
"Uh just hanging out with Gerard and Trenton."
Thebe nodded slowly and shook his head to himself.
And of course not to mention Skylar doesn't even like him Thebe thought to himself for just another reason for him to hurt inside. Why would she he thought. He had big ole lips with a fucked up hairline. He was scrawny and just plain ugly Thebe thought about himself in his head.
He looked over at Skylar and knew he could never get with a girl like her. She was beautiful, smart, outgoing, but at the same time was shy and down to earth. She had a beautiful smile and could always make people laugh. She was just out of Thebe's league.
"Why?" Skylar asked snapping him back to reality.
"Nothing, I just wanted to know."
"Oh."
"Yeah." He muttered again.
It was silent for the whole car ride home when finally they arrived. Skylar ran to her apartment door and fumbled with her keys trying to open the door. She was still only wearing Thebe's shirt and it was freezing outside. Thebe also ran next to her trying to get inside as well since he was freezing too. He was only wearing shorts and was shirtless.
Skylar kept fumbling with the keys since her hands were shaking so much because of how cold it was. Thebe towered over her and saw that she was fumbling with them so he put his hands over hers to prevent them from shaking. He opened the door and removed his hands off of Skylar's. Skylar looked over her shoulder and smiled at Thebe.
"Thanks."
Thebe simply nodded pushing her in the apartment and shutting the door behind him. They both rubbed their hands together trying to make them warmer when Skylar decided to just turn on the heater. Skylar walked up to her room and put some sweatpants on but leaving the shirt on. She walked back down stairs and saw that Thebe still walked around shirtless.
"Aren't you gonna put a shirt on?"
"You've seen me shirtless plenty of times." Thebe asked completely confused to why she would ask that.
"I know but it's fucking cold." Skylar chuckled.
"Then give me back my shirt." Thebe said joking.
Skylar laughed and shook her head.
"No it's comfortable." She said while spinning around like as if she was wearing a dress.
Thebe chuckled at her and suddenly launched at her. He chased her around the house for a few seconds, them both letting out hysterical laughs. Thebe finally caught her by the waist and spun her around while laughing.
Skylar laughed hitting Thebe softly which Thebe responded back by laughing. He looked at her and smiled.
He loved this girl more than anything else in life.

The Werewolf Cheerleader
Being a cheerleader is easier than being a werewolf. Jessica Tumbleleague is a typical teenage girl who loves being a cheerleader at Moondale High. But after an encounter with a werewolf in the woods, Jessica discovers a frightening world she never thought is real. Dangerous magic, deadly fierce spirits, and other malevolent creatures. Now Jessica must fight the forces of darkness to protect her hometown while balancing her supernatural life with her high school life. But can she control the beast within herself? Note: This is a rewrite of the original with the same name. I decided to change the third-person style to first-person because I liked Jessica's voice better. She is funny and very strong. With the story only focusing on her, I can keep the mystery suspenseful and the reader can experience what Jessica is experiencing. It is a typical YA style, but it is fun to write as your main character. There are changes, but the first and second books will be similar to the third-person chapters. Let me know what you think and I hope you will enjoy this new version of the Werewolf Cheerleader. I will post the chapters every Friday in the afternoon. P.S, there is a Werewolf Cheerleader short story published in the Tales of Dungeons, All Hallows book. Titled The Werewolf Cheerleader: Castle and Ghouls. The short is also in first-person, which made me decide to change the book series into first-person. The link is below if you want to check it out. https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B08MCS82R5
