"We should do something today?" Tyler blurted out.
They were all currently at Tyler's place chilling all sprawled out on the couches and floor. It was only Tyler, Thebe, Travis and Skylar.
Skylar suddenly smirked. She always wanted to have one of these. She got up from off the couch and everybody looked at her.
"What?" Travis asked her.
"I'll be back. Thebe come with me." Skylar said and held her hand out for him to take.
She had a big smile plastered on her face and everyone had questioning looks on their face looking at her.
Thebe also looked at her questionably, but he didn't care. Him seeing that beautiful smile on her face and her hand stretched out for him to take, she didn't have to ask twice. Thebe took her hand and she helped him up off the floor.
Skylar waved bye at Tyler and Travis and walked out with Thebe following her closely behind.
"So uh where are we going?" Thebe asked still completely clueless as he saw Skylar climbing into her car. He also climbed into the car, sitting on the passenger seat next to her.
"To the store." She answered putting the keys into the ignition and drove back out of the driveway.
"Why?"
"Because we're gonna buy something."
Thebe laughed which led Skylar to giggle.
She knew what Thebe wanted to know, but she was just making it difficult on him because she found it funny.
But when Thebe heard her giggle his heart immediately melted as cheesy as that might sound. She hardly ever giggled so when she did, if Thebe was lucky to hear it, his stomach would flip around.
"Yeah I kinda glued that together after I heard we're going to the store. I meant what are we gonna buy?" Thebe asked after calming down from laughing.

"Why do you wanna know?"
"Why don't you wanna tell me?"
"It's not that I don't. It's just because I wanna know why you wanna know?"
"Why do you wanna know why I wanna know what you're doing?"
"I don't that's why I'm asking."
"What?" Thebe laughed out loud as well as Skylar too. It was all so confusing to them now.
After a few minutes she decided to tell him.
"We're going to the store to buy some water balloons." She answered finally.
"You see. Was that so hard?"
They again burst out laughing and Thebe looked over at her.
She had the most beautiful laugh in the world he thought. With a beautiful smile with her beautiful dimples showing every time she cracked a smile. He would listen to her laugh all day long if he could. Just knowing that he was the reason why she smiled and laughed made him warm inside.
After a few minutes of driving they arrived. They walked into the store together and went the water ballon section. They got a loads of packs and Skylar smiled like an idiot to Thebe again, but he didn't care. He was happy that she was happy.
They walked to the cash register and Thebe politely paid.
"Thanks." Skylar said giving him a side hug making Thebe smile like an idiot this time.
He handed the cashier a 20 and she smiled at them.
"You guys are cute. I remember when my husband and I were young and we did cute things like you guys do now." The cash register lady said to them.
Skylar widened her eyes and laughed.
"Oh god no, we're not together."
This made Thebe a bit sad. He didn't say anything though. The cash register lady saw how his face changed expressions and felt bad for him. She even knew that he was friend zoned.

"Oh sorry. I just assumed you guys were." The lady said apologizing.
"It's not a problem." Skylar said back.
"Actually it is a problem." Thebe muttered quietly.
"What?" Skylar asked clueless to what he said.
"Nothing."
Skylar shrugged it off and started walking out the store. Thebe was about to start following her when the lady stopped him.
"Take a chance and go for it. There's nothing to be afraid of." She said to him.
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"I see the way you look at her. Just go for it. You have nothing to lose."
"Expect my best friend." He muttered again already walking out of the store not caring if she heard him or not.
He sat into the passenger seat again and Skylar started to drive to her place now.
"What held you up?" Skylar asked him.
"Nothing." Thebe muttered again.
He was irritated now. He hates it how people keep telling him to go for it when they don't understand how hard it is for him. And he isn't only talking about Skylar. He's talking about everything else. Everybody says its easy, but that's just all smack. It's easy for them to say, but when it actually comes to it they can't do it.
Fuck Thebe thought. Why is he even stressing about this. He's suddenly getting mad over something so simple.
He sighed loudly. He hates it when he gets all jumbled up in his thoughts and makes himself mad or sometimes even sad.
"Are you okay?" Skylar asked him seeing as how he looked mad now.
"I'm fine." Thebe said raising his voice a bit, but didn't mean too. He wasn't mad at her, but yet he's taking his anger out on her.
"Damn what the fuck crawled up your ass in the last 5 minutes. You were all happy and cheery just a few minutes ago."
"I'm sorry." Thebe said realizing how much of an asshole he sounded. She didn't do anything he thought.
"Whatever." Skylar said giving him an attitude as well.
Thebe sighed knowing he's made her mad already.
"I'm sorry okay don't be mad at me." He apologized to her again, but she didn't answer him.
He was right. He's already made Skylar mad. There's times where Skylar would get mad for the most simplest things and there's also times where she won't even get mad for the most biggest issues.
She was different, but that's what Thebe liked about her.

I believe in the healing and therapeutic power of writing. And so, I wrote poems. Poems that I want to share with the world. This is the collection of the poetry that I wrote so far. The poems that may be written in the future, after the collection is out, will also be uploaded.
