The moonlight shines down as I gaze up at the star studded sky.
It casts its light through the night with a brilliant, ominous, caleidescope vibe.
I am in awe of the stars as my feet cling, fast to the Earth.
I'm bewildered at the premise that
I'm just one tiny being in this vast, complex universe.
What's out there? Why are we here? The questions most posed but will forever elude us, purposely left unanswered and left mysteriously unclear.
As we reach for the answers, it appears, we are intelligently silenced, rendered to remain humbled and designed to be blinded.
For, our purpose is to be, with no promise of enlightenment, in this moment, tomorrow or in another distant lifetime.
As we look past the science to the Heavens for guidance, we realize, this is the way we are supposed to live life.
With our minds constantly seeking
And our souls desperately reaching,
until the day we arrive at the end of our lives, when everything flashes before our wondering eyes. It's then we discover the true meaning of life.
