Annabeth sat uncomfortably at the kitchen table in her apartment with jeans, a hoodie, and fuzzy socks, Head in her hands. She wasn't going to ask Percy to come with her. He had a life here...she couldn't up root that. She couldn't be selfish with wanting him to come with her.
Annabeth heard the door open and clunk at the door. The sound of a guitar case. She swallowed her pride, getting up and heading to the living room.
Percy stood tall, taking off his coat. "Hey Wise Girl." He swallowed, his voice quivering with nervousness, just enough where he couldn't show Annabeth he was scared about this conversation.
"Hey Seaweed Brain." She crossed her arms, gesturing to sit.
Percy nodded, and sat down. Before Annabeth sat down in front of him. Eyes lit up.
"Percy...I don't know how to tell you this." Annabeth looked down. "And I'm not expecting you to come with me but-"
"Annabeth? Come with you? What is it?" Percy leaned forward, grabbing her hand.
Annabeth took a deep breath in. "I have a job offer."
"Wait? That's it, that's great! Annabeth-"
"It's in New York." She blurted out before he could finish his sentence.
Percy's hand went limp in hers. "You have a job offer in New York?" He cleared his throat.
"Yes, with the New York Times and Please I'm not expecting you to come with me. I would love you too but i know you have a life here."
"Annabeth-I got an offer with a music company to start my own album. In California." He pulled away from Annabeths hand and sat back.
"California? That's great. That's good. That's been your dream since a child." She pushed her hair behind her ears.

"Yeah...and working for the New York Times is also your dream." Percy cleared his throat.
"But like I said, I wasn't really expecting you to come with me." She blurted out.
"Don't lie. Please don't lie to me." He looked at her. His eyes darkening with sadness
Annabeth felt her eyes watering. "Of course, I want you to come. I'm in love with you and I want to have an life with you." She whispered.
"I want that Annabeth I do, especially with you. I just- it's a one shot thing in music." He started to build his wall back up slowly.
"No, No, yeah I get that."
Dead Air. A sudden and undesirable silence. There they sat for minutes. Maybe hours. The room darkening expect a small lamp in the corner by the door.
Sitting silently, minds pondering to the one event that would occur tonight. There would be no escape tonight.
They were just try to prolong the inevitable.
The inevitable being, Annabeth would be going to New York, and Percy going to California. Percy was angered.
This was a good thing he never should've invested in. He gave everything to her and it was unfair. He built up his wall up even more. Scared of being hurt by this.
Annabeth was the first one to speak up. "Is this it?" She whispered, her voice cracking from the tears starting to come down.
"Yeah...Yeah i think it is. I think I should go now."
Annabeth was going to put up a fight. But he was out the door faster than she could even mutter a "don't go."
Annabeth, grabbed onto the couch as she broke down crying.
Percy standing on the other side of the door, wiping away tears of his own. Before sucking it up and heading to a bar.

He drank. And drank, until his wallet was empty. Getting into a fight and into jail that night. At 4 A.M, they released him after he sobered up. He walked quietly down the street, before pausing.
He reached into his pocket, dialing a number he knew by heart.
He pressed it to his ear.
A small voice muttering a Hello tiredly from the other end.
"Hey Mom. It's Percy. I just wanted to tell you that I Love You, and I, uh well, I'm coming home."

After Megiddo
The Passing of the Old; The Beginning of the New. Beautifully illustrated by Michael Lynch, Stephen Garrett Rusk, Steven Davidovics, and Alex Diadev. Gideon McDonough is the last average human in existence. Stranded on a dead moon, forced to fight for his survival, he is cursed with haunting dreams when asleep and tortured by demonic entities when awake. He and his crew aboard the Decima seek a way home. Or at least a reprieve from the madness. Sol awakens, stuck deep under the crust of earth, cursed to relive her day. Her systems are damaged and she is long lost. But not forgotten. A mining incident sets her free into a strange world, deep underground. As she is repaired, she begins to remember her mysterious past. She and her new friend discover more than they bargained for. Amy is not your typical fallen angel. Small. Ugly. Simpering. What should have been an eternal prison sentence in The Lake of Fire turned into a new chance at freedom as new breeds of demons free Lucifer in a mixed act of arrogance and ignorance. Now she is free, ready to terrify the universe once again; or at the very least inconvenience this new reality with her presence. Because a fallen angel of the Liberal Arts can do a lot of damage. Maybe. Perhaps. Chaos and tea parties abound. All for the glory of Lucifer. The disturbing dreams and visions all foreshadow a dark future.
8 507Star God
An ancient, ageless entity of magic intertwines with the essence of a tribal hero and a god is born. In a land where the worship of any entity is banned and punishable by mass-execution, the young and idealistic deity must come to terms with the ugliness of humanity, and find a way for his flock to survive, and maybe even thrive. A young man born into a mountain tribe treads the path of a hero, but he must learn the extent to which he would go to keep his people and their fledgling god safe and happy. Enemies are everywhere, and to defend their way of life, they must learn to harness the power of magic. Others are ahead of them in this regard, so they must act fast if they are to survive. A Xianxia-esque magic system, but with a focus on Western-style spellcasting and mysticism. This is more or less a deconstruction of classical fantasy and pantheons. The story focuses on two main characters; a God and a hero who serves him. Kingdom building themes are prevalent. If you like it, please remember to rate and review.

When you wake up and you are told you are dead and in the process of reincarnation, do you believe it's a dream, a hoax or the truth? Talking with a self declared God, who apparently doesn't care at all, spring much more questions than answers, so the adventure begin. This is my first attempt (highlight on attempt) to write and I'm not a native speaker, so sorry in advance for any mistake and hope it will be interesting. The cover and the, hopefully, future maps are generated by: topps.diku.dk/torbenm/maps.msp
8 114When LitRPG Destroys Earth
The floating screen and stats suddenly appeared and distributed throughout the entire earth. But at what cost? People dying, no internet, the writer of my favourite comic is dead, every day is either kill or be killed. Well... at the very least laws and orders aren't a thing anymore.
