-
When Peter was 6 and he had come home, tears glistened in his eyes. Tony knew he had to help his son.
He hugged his son close as he cried into his shoulder.
"What happened Petey? What's wrong?" Tony asks, in a worried tone of voice.
"I as-asked some boys if-if they wa-wanted to be-be friends. But the-they said they di-didn't like me." Peter cries to his dad.
Tony rubs his back in a calming motion, and shushing him quietly.
"It's okay Petey, i'll be your friend. I will always be here for you. I promise." Tony reassures his son.
Peter pulls away, a watery smile on his face.
He hugs Tony again and whispers, "Thanks dad."
-
When Peter was 14 and he was bit by the spider, he was really scared.
When he told his dad, Tony smiled brightly.
"Iron man and spiderman. Nice ring to it." Tony said happily.
Peter laughed and hugged his dad, thankful he wasn't angry.
"Thanks dad." Peter says.
"Always kiddo. I promise i'll always be here for you. When you need someone, i'll always be there." Tony says to Peter.
-
When Thanos came and he snapped. Peter knew he wouldn't be okay.

"Dad. I don't feel good." Peter says, feeling his senses warn him loudly.
Tony holds his son close, and lays him onto the red dusty floor.
"I'll get you back Petey. And i'll be here. I promise." Tony says, wanting his son to be okay but knowing it is in vein.
A broken smile appears on Peters face. His body slowly falling to ash.
"Thanks dad." He said quietly, until he was gone from his dad.
-
When Tony got his son back he was so happy.
He pulled him into a tight hug, Peter clinging to his father.
"I promised you Petey." Tony says.
Peter nods and whispers, "Thank you dad. I love you."
"I love you too kid." Tony replied.
Peter knew his dad would always be there to protect him.
-
When the light exploded all around, and Peter had saw his dad snap. He could feel his heart break.
He ran as fast as he could to his dad and landed beside him.
Tears fell heavily down his face as he saw his dad fighting for every breath.
"Please don't leave me dad. You promised you would always be here, please i can't lose you." Peter cried to his dad.
Tears fell down Tony's face, as he slowly lifted his non burnt hand onto Peters heart.
"Always." He said, his voice weak.
As he said those words, he tapped lightly onto Peter's heart.
His hand dropped back down to the side of him, a weak smile on his face as he looked at his son and wife.
"It's alright Tony. You can rest." Pepper said to her husband.
Peter sobbed, starting to repeat the words no over and over.
But he knew it was over when he saw the light in his dads eyes fade.
He fell into his mum's side, crying his heart out.
-
The end of the funeral had come, but Peter stayed at the lake.
Looking at the reactor floating in the water.
He looked up to the sky as tears fell down his face.
"I need you dad. I know you did the right thing. But i miss you so much. But i know you'll always be here, with me in spirit." Peter whispered to his dad.
