《Irondad and Spiderson One Shots》It's the end (Bomb p3)

Summary- When Peter is taken by Seth, what will Tony do to get his son back.
(Third Person P.O.V)
Peter groaned when he became conscious, blood dripping down his nose and head.
He tries to move but couldn't, his wrists and ankles bound to a metal chair, darkness all around him.
"What the fuck", he mutters under his breath and he pulls dejectedly at the restraints holding him in place.
When he was drugged it must have dulled his senses as he can't hear as well and he isn't healing as fast, he knows he just has to wait for it to pass through his system or for his healing to kick it out.
There is an omnibus laugh from somewhere in the darkness, Peter squints in the direction trying to see if he can see the person.
A dinghy light hangs limply in the air, barley casting any light into the darkness of the room.
The man -Seth- steps into the light, "This is for my father" he says before slamming something into Peter's face.
He can feel the pain rip through him and darkness consume him as he falls into unconsciousness for the 2nd time that day.
(Tony's P.O.V)
I don't know where Peter has gone and panic is swarming me, one minute he was in his room and the next he wasn't.
I tried to call him but he didn't answer.
Normally i wouldn't panic so fast but someone wants to kill him, someone has already tried and now he is out there alone, maybe hurt or, oh God, maybe dead.
He's been gone for at least 4 hours maybe more, i'm scared.
I'm snapped from my thoughts as FRIDAY says 'boss. Someone has sent you a text, there is a picture attached. Would you like to see it.

I gulp down my ever growing fear and say "Yes Please".
What appears in front of me breaks my heart, and makes anger consume me.
Peter is sitting there, unconscious, blood dripping down his broken face.
My blood run cold as i see him strapped to a chair, cuts littering his exposed chest.
Then i glance at the words underneath the picture 'I will avenge my father. I promised'.
Suddenly i remember, before i knew Pete, we had gone out to stop a gunman.
His son or something was there and he had shouted, oh what was it,
'Seth, avenge me son. Please'.
"FRI", i ask, hoping and praying this will work.
'Yes Boss', She replies.
"Track it", i say fist clenched and fear growing with every second that passes.
'Got it' she says.
Tears drip down my face as i let a little bit of relief enter me.
"I'll get you back kiddo, i promise" I say to myself.
(Peter's P.O.V)
As soon as i opened my eyes i wish i hadn't.
Pain was consuming my face and chest, shakily i look down at my stomach and see deep gashes all over me.
I suck in a painful and wheezing breath, fear washing over me.
The man steps back in front of me and i look up, "Who the fuck are you? What do you want with me" i say, putting up a wall and pushing away the fear.
The man smiles evilly and replies "I'm Seth. The reason you're here, doesn't have anything to do with you, no, it's the avengers I want. You see, they killed my dad, Tony Stark was the one who killed him. I lost the one person who made me happy, kept me sane. So now i'm taking the one who makes them happy, and that's you".

"You're crazy" I say back, still processing all the information.
He seems to growl and storm toward me, hitting me harshly in the face.
I suck in a breath, holding back a whimper, trying to keep my strong facade up.
He shakes his head and turns away, as he reaches the door he says calmly "I am not crazy. I'm angry, maybe one day you might understand my pain".
I can't help the laugh that escapes my mouth, he turns and glares at me.
"Funny you say that though isn't it. I lost both my parents, my uncle died in my arms from being murdered and my aunt from a drunk driver. But instead of going after them, i used it to make me stronger. Then dad took me in, and i got a family." I tell him truthly.
Just as he was about to reply, the sound of an explosion and repulsors echo around.
He turns back swiftly and leaves slamming the door.
(Third Person P.O.V)
As soon as Tony got the information he got into his suit and left, determined to get his kid back.
When he got there he blew the door open, not caring about how many people there could be.
Seth grabbed a gun and headed straight to the source of all the noise, determined to make Tony Stark pay for all he has done.
Tony shot every man in sight, FRIDAY scanning the building to find Peter.
'Take a left, then straight, he is in the 5th door down' FRIDAY says. Tony smiles slightly and thanks her, before heading toward him.
Just as he rounded the corner, a bullet ricocheted of his armour.
He looked up, and saw Seth stood there.
Seth throws his fist to collide with his face, but Tony catches it and throws it off to the side, making him fly and hit a wall.
He pulls him up and punches him in the face making him unconscious, he didn't want him to die and get away that easy.
He grabs some handcuffs from Seth's belt and secures him to a pipe, making sure when he wakes he can't get away.
Tony enters the room, wanting nothing more than to hug his kid.
"Pete" Tony asks, voice cracking in heart break.
Peter shakily lifts his head, blood still dripping down his face and chest.
"Dad" Peter says shakily, Tony runs straight toward him, breaking the restraints.
He jumps out of the suit and pulls Peter into a hug, not caring about the blood that stains his clouths. Peter sobs into his chest, arms holding onto Tony like a lifeline, scared that if he lets go he will disappear.
"I'm here now Petey, i'm sorry baby. You're safe now." Tony says into his curls.
Peter just cries harder, "Home?" he asks in a small tired voice.
Kissing his head Tony nods and says "yeah bubba. Let's go home".

Sword System Academia
2/17 NOTICE: I'm putting this on hiatus, possibly permanently. I didn't want to spam with an "update chapter", so hopefully here and in the story blurb will get enough eyeballs. There are a couple reasons for ending SSA for now. 1) I wrote the next chapter but wasn't happy with it. I've been less and less satisfied with SSA's quality the more I thought about it. Part of the reason is... 2) I am seriously thinking about trying to publish some novels to help pay the bills, since I don't have my other source of income anymore. I have never asked for anything from SSA readers, no money, not even a review or rating. SSA is written for fun to amuse myself, primarily, and I would kind of feel bad actually charging someone money for something as unserious as that. I don't think it is good enough to ask anything in return. To use an analogy from music, SSA is more like a jam session with a bunch of friends. You're just chiling and having fun playing some music. I mean, if you are Mozart or even Eminem, your jam session is good enough to sell, but for an amateur beginner like myself, haha, no. If I want to publish something, I feel like I need to go the proper route of practice and rehearsals, which might be more similar to a classical concert performance. With SSA, I work from worldbuilding notes and a loose outline, but what you are essentially getting is the first draft with lots of so-called pantsing. Pushing out a web novel like this also means it is very difficult to go back and improve things without breaking everything else downstream. I wanted to try this "jamming" approach, as it was a good way to teach me about another aspect of writing, but to move forward, I think I need to hone my "classical" techniques, which emphasize rewriting, or at least, revising outlines. 3) While I intend to try to make $$$, my actual current goal is to "get gud". I've spent a lot of time recently trying to understand the self-publishing industry, and I'm pretty sure I can make some money by using short-term strategies with my current amateur skill level. But I've seen too many authors come and go/burnout, and really, the only way that I think I can enjoy writing and still make money on a long-term basis is to become a better writer. And the next step for me, which I haven't done much before, is to spend more time on rewriting and outlines. That is pretty much antithetical to the way SSA is developing. I've always been kind of 20/80 plotting/pantsing, but I want to spend a lot more time outlining before I even start writing. SSA jam sessions don't really fit my goal anymore. If you're curious about what's next, read on... Among other regrets, I regret not finishing SSA. It's the first story I've dropped, but then again, it's the first web novel I've attempted, so I suppose that's not a surprise. I don't think traditional web novel formats suit me that well. The whole SSA story I had loosely planned (beyond a first book or major arc) is way too large as well. Big story = good for neverending webnovel with Patreons, bad for penniless and fickle writer like me. I am currently outlining a complete trilogy to another story in great detail. I want the story to end concisely, and I also want the chance to really spend a lot of time on the full outline to spot pacing problems, character issues, lost themes, and so on. I'll still share this story on RR. What I intend to do is finish book 1, flash-publish the whole thing here for a few weeks, then publish on the big Zon. Repeat for books 2 and 3. The upcoming story will be about crafting heroes. The backdrop is an isekai-like setting, where elves will summon humans to their world as heroes, but the whole hero crafting business is still in its infancy. The elven mage researchers are figuring out how to imbue heroes with power, while the heroes are trying to figure out how to use the powers that they gain. Humans are the best hero templates because they are blank and have no intrinsic magic. Or at least that what the elves thought. The human MC has his own secrets... There will be some similarities with litrpgs, but I would call it more a progression fantasy or gamelit story. For example, the stats are very low, at least initially. Say we have a stat called Str. Going from Str = 1 to Str = 2 is a huge deal. Also, going from Dex = 0 to Dex = 1 is an even bigger deal. I guess you could call it a "low-stat litrpg", haha. Also, the heroes won't be gaining stats simply by killing things or leveling up. You can't increase stats arbitrarily, either. There will be rules to how stats can increase, and how they work with each other. The elven mages will be figuring out these rules in order to craft stronger and stronger heroes. Some inspiration will be from cultivation magic systems, but there won't be overt cultivation, at least for now. A theme I really want to explore is the idea of interactions. That includes things like hero crafter vs hero, tactics vs strategy, skill synergies, racial interactions (dwarves, elves, etc), and son. Yeah, so hero crafting. I'm super excited about this project and venturing into publishing. If you want to check out the upcoming story, you can follow my RR author profile to see when it drops here. Finally... THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! I'm very sorry that SSA is stopping, but I hope at least some of you will find the next story at least as enjoyable, if not more. Thanks to all the readers who gave SSA a shot. Big hug or solid fistbump to all of you, whichever you prefer! I hope this message is not a downer but an upper, because I am psyched!! -purlcray -------------- BLURB: Talen, youngest Master of the Koroi, makes his way to the Empire's capital to salvage his clan's fate. But the bustling city has few opportunities for the traditionalist. For the old sword clans are fading. With the rise of alchemy, gold can purchase strength that ordinarily took years of training to cultivate. Sword artists, once rare and accomplished, are quickly growing in number, especially among the wealthy noble class. Even with such alchemy, though, no one has advanced to the rank of Grandmaster in countless years. Talen's true dream is to walk the path of a sword artist to the very end while fulfilling his clan duties. And then the Swordgeists return, fabled founders of all sword arts, gods who had touched the world long ago and vanished. These myths turned into reality warn of a coming threat. Alongside this warning, they issue an invitation to the Sword System Academy, a path to power beyond the mortal realm. But first, they will hold an entrance exam... Story notes:Sword System Academia blends elements of western and asian fantasy such as xianxia and litrpg. I took parts from different genres I enjoyed and twisted them into my own creation. There will be an explicit system, both of the litrpg kind and the hard(ish) magic kind, but it is embedded within an academic structure that will develop over the course of the story. This is my attempt to design a unique type of system, the System Academia.

Forced Immortality
Guy dies, transmigrates and then dies some more. Contrary to what you might think, this is actually a story about an OP protagonist. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things to keep in mind before reading: - I have never written a story before so this will most likely end up being pretty bad. - I have done zero planning for this story. - This is mostly something i wanted to try out in my freetime so updates are going to be sporadic at best. - Chapter length will fluctuate until i figure out this whole writing thing. - I have no idea if there will be romance. Might add it in the future if this story somehow doesn't end up as a failure. - There will be some stuff from the Star Wars Universe but this is NOT a Star Wars fanfiction. - The story will be pretty explicit in the gore department so if your squeamish, beware. - This story will be a slow burn. - If any of the above changes, i'll update the synopsis and i might make a seperate chapter just detailing these points. - Last point, English isn't my native language so have some mercy on my poor soul, ok? If none of the above has scared you away then i invite you to join me on this catastrophic ride. It'll probably be kinda fun.....hopefully... This story is also on Scribblehub and Webnovel.

World leaders don't tend to survive very long if they don't have guards with them at all times. While officially there is no assassin's guild or thieves guild they do sure exist and are thriving like never before in the current political climate. That and the other guilds don't stop them since they also hire their services from time to time. The various temples and religions have no official power part from some nations which are based around a belief. In actuality though they have considerable powers since they control the masses just as well as the rulers themselves. Get on their bad side and you might just find an assassin coming for you. A young woman gets thrown into this grimdark world from our own. Will she survive the curveball that gets thrown in her face as she changes into something else? Map created by Maximeplasse This fiction is based on my play-per-post RP that I've run before but with my own take on summoned characters and dungeon settings. At certain points I'll also allow reader decisions if the story gets popular enough. xD It's unrelated to the D&D Theron setting; Telduria I just liked the name and the map when I started up the RP back in the day.
