《You Don't Scare Me ( Laughing Jack X Reader )》Chapter 25

Darkness was all the eye could see. Dirt and mulch were coating your dry lips. You weren't sure if you couldn't open your eyes, or if your body just didn't want you to. Your ankle was throbbing, your arms fell limp, you were being pulled lifelessly on the Forrest floor. That thing was dragging you, you could hear it'd heavy breathes as it marched deeper and deeper into the Forrest, taking you somewhere that you could not navigate. You didn't open your eyes, you felt it was better if the being thought you were unctuous. This would give you an advantage, it could open opportunities for you to escape when it wasn't looking, that is if it ever put you down.
Leaves crushed as your body was forced over them, you could feel the small pebbles and stones rolling between the dirt and your sensitive skin, making new bruises and scrapes as you were being pulled. That wasn't the worst though. The beast was digging its claws into your leg, tightening its grip every some often, making sure your tiny leg didn't slip through its claws.
The beast suddenly came to a stop, making fear arrive from the depths of your mind, you closed your eyes tighter as you began to mentally scream and panic. " Oh goodie!" you would know that voice anywhere. "And she's still alive! Good boy! She'll live to play another round!" The clown joyfully screamed. The beasts grip on your leg tightened more making a pained grunt slip past your lips. After that, silence. They knew you were awake. Your eyes shot open Laughing Jack was practically in your face. Out of anger you threw your right fist into his face but the clown was one step ahead of you and caught your hand just an inch away from his face. "Wow gumdrop you lasted longer than I thought", he said cheerfully. The clown turned to the beast and motioned for it to let go, to your surprise it did. You let out a cry of pain as the beast released its grip. A let out a pained groan as it pulled it's talons from your calf mussel. You looked down at your leg to see the damage, your leg was covered in blood. There were two holes the ruffly the size of a golf ball in the side of your mussel, the struggling probably made it worse. The wounds were covered in dirt, the needed to get cleaned ASAP or else you could risk infection. You weren't a genius when it came to medical but a couple episodes of "Untold Stories of the ER" could tell you that. Next problem, your back was killing you, it was likely you broke your tail bone, which is the worst considering there is nothing you can do for that injury. But that was the least of your worries. You needed to stand, you didn't even know if you would be able to.

As you tried to stand, bot your lower back and leg were practically screaming at you to sit back down, but you didn't want to sit, you didn't want to look pathetic and helpless. You began to make some progress and made it about 90% of the way there, you were rewarded with a strong kick to the chest causing you to fall flat on your back and cry out in agony. The clown pointed and laughed at your pain. "I love this game!" He joyfully said as he jumped up and down clapping his hands like a 5 year old. Let's try this again. You slowly rolled onto your stomach to shoot your back as best you could, placing your hands under yourself so you could once again try to hoist yourself upward to try to stand. You made it as far as to get on your hands and knees, your progress was destroyed by another kick, this time to your side making you scream yet again. "Please stop" you cried out as tears began to roll down your face.
"You want me to stop?" You looked up at him through pained half lidded eyes, he looked sinister once again, he had a twisted smile and empty eyes. He knew you were in pain, but he wanted to break you. He lifted his leg to kick you again, you closed your eyes and wrapped your hands around your stomach protectively. "That is enough Jack". You opened your eyes to meet your mono toned savior. You were shocked to see the empty black holes of the blue mask. "If you continue your abuse, she will not last as long as you would like her too." You looked back at the clown who seemed very annoyed to say the least. "Come on, it was just getting exciting".
The masked man ignored his childish comment and walked over to you, kneeing down to look at your wounds. He helped you sit up and he began to take a look at your destroyed calf mussel. "Was Seedeater obedient?" The masked man asked. The clown answered, "He did as I asked". The masked man nodded in response, "I've been trying to train him to be more delicate with my meals, he tends to ruptures the victims organs when he hunts, leaving a messy meal for myself." This conversation was making you very uncomfortable. They were talking as if you weren't even there. The masked man turned his back to grab his backpack and place it to his side, and began to dig through it, pulling out jars of organs in the process. Your eyes grew wide in shock, he smiled under his mask when he noticed your expression. "(Y/N) if you keep staring I will take a kidney from you when Jack is not looking."

Your eyes quickly darted somewhere else. The man pulled out a somewhat clean towel from his back and began to wrap it tightly around your leg wound making you wince. "That's another thing", you were confused as to who he was talking to until the man turned to the beast called Seedeater. The beast was sitting obediently as if waiting for instruction. "You need to be more aware as to where you grab the victim, you will cause great blood less to quickly".
The beast seemed to just blow off anything his master was saying. The masked man stood and turned to the clown, and began to speak open about your condition making you feel invisible and helpless. "She needs medical attention Jack, she's in need a stitches and by the looks of it she need quite a few. He recovery time will take a while compared to the last one." The clown looked at your pained face. Maybe he went a little to far? Now he was going have to wait longer for a second round. He huffed in annoyance, "Thanks EJ".
You uncomfortably shifted in your spot on the ground as the clown stared at you. You were confused, scared and of the verge of tears, he could smell the fear radiating off of you, and if he could the Eyeless Jack certainly could. Eyeless Jack was more put together then the rest of the house, just because he could control himself around o human doesn't mean the rest of the house could. Jeff would be an issue as well as the proxy's, they might be a little more held together due to working under the masters command. The females in the house are less involved with other members business. There was not many in the house that the clown could trust. As you noticed the clown was zoned out you once again tried to stand on your own, you felts so small remaining on the ground like that. The towel Eyeless Jack had tied to your leg was already pink due to the blood loss, also the pain was being coming more and more severe, due to the loss of your adrenaline. You needed medical attention soon and by soon you mean ASAP. "If you would like her to live I suggest you get her on my table very soon Jack, or you could let her bleed out and leave her corpse on my table thats fine too, I enjoy an easy meal." His voice was very mono toned and carless. "Come along Seedeater". The pair then left to return to the mansion and left you and the clown to yourselves.
You looked at the clowns expressionless face for some sort of sign as to what was going to happened to you. Was he gonna let you bleed out and leave your corpse to the cannibal? You hoped not, but that was slowly becoming a possibility due to the lack of the clowns movements. He stood there so blank and emotionless, or so you thought, as you stared at him the clown began to laugh hysterically, not in a happy way. He sounded very distraught and almost evil. It was dark and it terrified you. You couldn't see his face due to this long black hair covering most of his face, the only thing you could see was the his razor sharp teeth grouped together into a twisted smile. You needed to get as far away from him as possible, when he acted like this he was unpredictable and when he was unpredictable he hurt you. You used the tree next to you to fully pull yourself up and lean on to help you balance due to one of your legs being injured. "Where are you going gumdrop?"
Panic, sheer panic is the only word you could use to describe your emotions. You limped as fast as you could using anything as leverage to support your broken body, trees, branches, even rocks. You didn't dare look at him, you didn't know if he was where you left him or if he was right behind you. "Come on pixie stick you don't want to play anymore? I promise I'll be more gentle." He giggled. He was right behind you. You hated when he acted like this it terrified you. He was so playful yet murderous, his voice horrified you. You stopped moving and leaned yourself up against a tree and closed your eyes tightly. "Jack please stop." You pleaded. "Shh I know your scared sugar I can smell it off of you", he whispered. You turned to look at him and he was gone. He disappeared out of thin air. You turned and continued moving forward, you only made it about two feet when your legs were pulled out from underneath you. A pain filled scream left your lips as your shattered body hit the floor. The clown began to drag you, as tears streamed down your face. He was dragging you back to the horrid house where he was going to fix you up just to brake you again. You honestly hoped you would bleed out on the way there. "Come on (Y/N) lets go fix you up so we can play again".

Shadowrun: Blake Island School of Magic
It's a high tech, low life. It's the Seattle Metroplex in 2074. It rises like a steel and concrete cancer out of the earth. Poverty is rampant, corruption is everywhere, crime is out of control, corporations basically control everything, the old United States is fractured, magic has come back and now it turns out that humanity has been joined by elves, dwarves, orks and trolls. The old world ended but the rent is still due. Life goes on. You'd be surprised what people can adapt to, especially if they don't have a choice. One of the places where life goes on is just west of Seattle. Surrounded by the waters of the Puget Sound is an island. On that island is the Blake Island School of Magic. A decade ago it was known for producing some of the most talented awakened in the world. That reputation was hijacked by the wealthy corporate elite who now park their teenage children there. And since it's a boarding school, their parents mostly forget about them. Three young people, who are certainly not wealthy or elite, are chosen this year to attend this school of magic in hopes of revitalizing their reputation for talent. One from the ash drifts of the Puyallup Barrens, one from the most densely populated slum hive in the world and one from prison. This is their story. -- This story is set in the Shadowrun universe. If you're not familiar with Shadowrun, it mostly tells the stories of deniable mercenaries called shadowrunners in a cyberpunk dystopia. Instead of telling another story solely about shadowrunners, this story will tell the tale of young people navigating a world that is indifferent to them at best and actively hostile at worst. Shadowrunners will be in the story and we'll see them operate, but they won't be its main focus. This story originally began in 2017 as a passion project and continues to this day on the Somethingawful.com forums. The unedited version is over a million words strong. There are currently seven books in this series and I am currently in the process of editing them. If you read this story then you won't lack for content. -- The Topps Company, Inc. has sole ownership of the names, logo, artwork, marks, photographs, sounds, audio, video and/or any proprietary material used in connection with the game Shadowrun.
