(Hyejin's pov)

"Hyejin, sweetie, can we talk?" My mom asked me once I entered the house. "Uh.. Sure?" I replied walking into the living room where she was sitting. "What do you mean with what you said that night?" She asked patting the empty place next to him. "Which part exactly?" I asked back sitting next to her. "The 'It wouldn't really matter anyway seeing as I'm planning on telling her anyway' part." She replied. "Oh uh.. that part.. Haha.. uhm.. Well you see I just want to be closer, as in a best friend way closer, with her and I feel like I could trust her with that so~.." I replied awkwardly laughing. ".. I guess I'll believe that.. For now.." My mom replied mumbling the last part and I quickly went upstairs.

(Wheein's pov)

"Why didn't you tell me you were back?" I asked Joshua (they were on the phone). "I got a new phone and don't have your number anymore, I'm sorry!" Joshua replied. "It's fine, who were you meeting?" I asked. "That was Dino, I had met him before I left with the rest of his friend group." He replied. "Ah~, have you told them?" I asked referring to him being a hybrid. "No, not yet. Oh yeah, was that Hyejin girl your girlfriend?" He asked me which made me turn red immediately. ''No! We met around a few days or something ago!'' I replied flustered. ''Joshua Jisoo Hong! If you don't get your ass here and spend some time with me I will personally burn your whole kitchen down!'' I heard a voice from Joshua's side. ''Is that your boyfriend?'' I asked smugly. ''Uh, no, bye!'' He answered hanging up right after.

I chuckled softly.
