(Wheein's pov)
Ms. Kim was droning on about a math equation as I was writing some notes when the door opened and Hyejin walked in. ''Hi, sorry I'm late.'' She softly spoke to ms. Kim. ''Why were you late?'' He asked her. ''This asshole was trying to get my number as I was walking to class and wasn't leaving me alone..'' She replied sitting down next to me. ''Since you're only five minutes late I'll let it pass but any later and you'll be getting detention miss Ahn.'' She sighing and continued talking once she nodded.
''Did I miss anything important?'' Hyejin asked me softly after she put all her stuff down. ''Uh.. Not much..'' I replied pausing to slide my notes over so she can read them. ''She's just explaining about this equation.'' I continued pointing to one of the equations in my notes. ''Thanks.'' She said smiling.
-timeskip to lunch-
I sighed as I poked my food around. I didn't have many friends (even though I was pretty popular around the school0 so a lot of the times I sat alone at lunch. ''Hey, do you mind if I sit with you?'' Hyejin suddenly appeared behind me. ''Oh.. Uh, sure.'' I replied and she sat down next to me and gave me a small smile. ''Wheein, right?'' She asked and I nodded. ''Hyejin, right?'' I asked back. ''Mhm, Why are you sitting all alone? You seem like a girl with a lot of friends...'' She said. ''I.. Actually don't have a lot of friends..'' I replied putting down my chopsticks.
(Hyejin's pov) (a/n: poor Wheein can't even get a full chapter)
''Really? They're missing out.. You're really pretty.'' I said, she blushed and smiled at me. 'Did she take it as a flirt? Please take it as a flirt..' (a/n: me too Hyejin, me too). ''Thank you but I don't think being pretty will give me actual friends.'' She said chuckling slightly. ''I guess so... But I'm sure that they're going to be missing out either way.'' I said grabbing a banana from my bag. ''Say, Wheein, would you go bananas over me if I eat this banana?'' (a/n: did you get the reference?) I asked her as I pointed to the banana in my hand. ''I-.. Uhm.. Wh-..'' Wheein started stuttering with a blush on her face. ''I was joking, don't worry..'' I said chuckling a bit. ''Ah~.. Right..'' She said softly awkwardly laughing.

''Oh yeah, Wheein, do you mind if I get your number?'' I asked her smiling as I held out my (already unlocked) phone. She nodded grabbing her phone and unlocking it and giving it to me before grabbing mine. I smiled as I quickly typed in my number and saved the contact under 화사♥*. Wheein smiled at me and handed me my phone back as I handed her hers back. 'She saved her contact as 강앚휘*², that's cute.' The bell rang and we both stood up. ''I'll see you later?'' She asked. ''See you later.'' I replied smiling at her and walked off.

Dream of the Abyss
Elisa Mary Grant died in a hospital bed after being stuck in it for six months, and like any other, her soul drifted away from her husk when she passed. For her, death was a release. It merely meant that she no longer have to wake up in pain, breathing through tubes and have doctors flood her veins with dubious chemicals for “experimental treatment”. Free from her mortal constraints and useless body, she felt… at peace, serene, even. Death is bliss, after all, when objectively living sucked to the point of extreme. Therefore, there was no reason to mourn at all and she knew she definitely didn't. ... That was until, on her way for a proper reincarnation, she found herself rudely interrupted and left stranded in the great NoWhere. “Wonderful,” she remarked as she floated in the [Beyond], “Just when I thought that suicide is the answer.” Author's note: Updates every Tuesday-Wednesday, probably some time in between. ... P.S Notes: Contains existential questions and nihilistic themes, rather philosophical. Will be rather sluggish until the MC gets her shit together. P.SS Notes: Story takes time to develop. And maybe uncomfortable. It's not gonna be action-packed or filled with battles, I think. Anyway, it is kinda unusual. P. SSS Notes: It is not LitRpg. Don't be fooled.

The Devil's Bride
"I am not sleepy so why don't we tell each other a story?" Her voice was low and raspy and fuck, I'd been lying if I say I wasn't turned the fuck on. "Like what?" I ask swallowing my pride and probably my sense of direction. Her skin was on top of mine, in contact, burning. "I don't know." She says taking her time to adjust herself on my lap. I had to grip the chair for support feeling all my breath vanish from my lungs. "Maybe a short bio about yourself." She advocates placing one of her hands on my chest. I feel the contact through my shirt, my eyes trained on every movement of hers. The worst of it all was that she is unaware of what she was doing to me. "Uh-" I feel my words shorten. On impulse, I grab her by her waist for support instead. Leaning back painfully on the single chair. "You're so cute when you're confused!" She giggles going ahead to move slightly on my lap. I blow out a groan feeling my erection harden.
