Violet, Klaus and Sunny rushed to their parents, who embraced them warmly. The Quagmire parents followed suit. "How? We thought you were dead!" Duncan gasped. The four adults looked at each other. "Well, let's just say we managed to escape in the nick of time. We planned to introduce you to each other this June because we planned to go on vacation together, but the fire started and we couldn't. So, let's make the best out of our time here, alright?" Bertrand smiled. "Okay." Beatrice walked over to Lemony while the parents caught up with their kids.

"I'm pregnant."

A silence fell. "You're what?"

"Pregnant."

The room erupted into joy. "We're getting a baby sibling!"

Beatrice smiled. "Yes." Quigley looked at his parents. So did Isadora. "How long have you known?" He asked. "Long enough to know." he replied. "Would you like to hear about where we went?"

The Baudelaire and Quagmire children sat on the two eye-patterned sofas and the parents settled on a sofa opposite the children. "Right, kids. It all began with the fire...."
