"Ethan," Mark spoke softly as he shook Ethan's shoulder.

"Oh, hi." Ethan said, waking up.

"What are you doing sleeping at your desk at 3 p.m.?" Sean asked, standing in the doorway.

"I was just tired, and fell asleep,' Ethan replied, realizing he hadn't seen Dark the entire time he was asleep.

"What is this?" Mark asked, grabbing Ethan's arm.

"Oh- I-" Ethan looked at the floor. He had forgotten he had taken off his hoodie.

"Ethan," Mark gently grabbed Ethan's chin and brought it up so they were staring into each other's eyes. "Did you do this or did Dark?"

"Umm- I did," Ethan muttered. He could feel tears run down his cheeks as he saw Mark's dark brown eyes fill with disappointment in Ethan.

Mark and Sean hugged Ethan as tight as possible. They didn't want to let go.

"I can't breathe," Ethan said hoarsely. Mark and Sean released the hug just enough so he could get oxygen.

"Sorry," Mark started.

"Don't be," Ethan finished.

The three sat together in silence. Even though he was trying to hide it, Ethan could still see the disappointment on Mark's face.

"I should probably get going," Ethan broke the silence, "I have an appointment with Dr. Talin."

"Oh- do you want me to come with you?" Mark asked.

"No, but thank you. I will be fine," Ethan reassured Mark, but he had no plan to go to his appointment. Ethan got in his car and sat for a second, thinking. Did he really want to do this?

"Yes," Ethan heard Dark.

Ethan drove the bridge he, and many others, knew as Suicide Bridge Ethan parked his car in a near by parking lot and walked over the bridge. He looked out through the fence that had been put up to deter possible suicides. It would still be easy to climb over it, but right now he just wanted to look. Ethan could feel the wind as cars passed by him.

"Do it," he heard. Ethan grabbed as high as he could on the fence and started climbing. As he made it to the top, he stopped. Was he really about to give everything up? Ethan felt tears stream down his face. He pulled one leg over the fence and sat there, literally on the fence about the decision. Ethan took a deep breath and let go, letting him fall.
