Nathan POV

It's been a whole week since this feeling all start. Seven days since these emotions began. One hundred and sixty eight hours since I have been like this. Ten thousand and eighty minutes since I haven't been myself.

Maybe I should stop coming to school and skip every day or continue to drink and sex away my sorrows. Why am I not getting an signs I'm pretty sure my brothers know who their mates are but just haven't told anyone. Like we tell each other everything why would they hold back this one.

I have been following my dad's advice by monitoring my surroundings when the emotions come crushing down but for some reason my mind just goes blank. Should I touch Mya or Tanya while I am passing them or should I just stay in current mindless state.

I continued to wait on my brothers by my car in front of this horrible place. I can tell this is going to be a bad day. Finally they arrive they drive so slow.

"Took y'all long enough" I said while pushing myself off the car

"Isn't our fault you drive like a maniac" Here goes Dethan being dramatic

"Oh please I drive fine"

"Let's just go" says Ethan

"How y'all feeling you know with the whole surroundings thing" Dethan asked as we walked to our lockers.

"It's giving me hell" I sighed

"It's not as bad since I'm able to tune it out" Ethan responded while closing his locker

"How?" I questioned but then the bell rings

"Shit we're late let's hurry up" Ethan told us like we haven't realize that

"See y'all in English" Dethan voiced before going in the next direction then up the stairs.

Ethan and I strolled to 1st period which was Alpha Studies. As we got there the teacher was about to start writing notes on the board.

"You both are late...again. Go and take your seats."

We got to our desk and took out our books. Time for another week of school I guess.

"Today we are learning 'What Characteristics Makes A Great Alpha'. So can anyone tell me some of those characteristics"

"Resilience"

"Ambition and the desire to work hard" Ethan said next to me

"Confidence"

"Determination" I commented

"Yes those all are characteristics of being a good alpha. The main characteristic of an alpha wolf is a quiet confidence and a quiet self-assurance. You know what you need to do; you know what’s best for your pack. You lead by example and you’re very comfortable with that. You have a calming effect."

He continued class while everyone listened and took notes. Although I'm focused I still have this lingering feeling at the back of my mind and deep down in me. I want it to stop I need it to stop it's making me so weak. As I'm getting lost in my thoughts the bell rings for next period. We packed up our bags and went to the next class which was just down the hall so we didn't have to hustle.

I walked over to my seat since we have a seat arrangement in this class then just waited until the teacher got here.

What if touch Mya or Tanya and one of them weren't my mate will this pain still go on. Will I still be drowning in my own emotions. Will I have to drink and have sex just to turn it all off for a while. I can't continue to do this. Why isn't Adonis giving me a sign or just a little clue.

"Because I'm afraid of how you will react. I need you to figure this one out on your own and maybe you will come to turns with it." my wolf Adonis said. Adonis has a light brown fur with white under tones and blue eyes.

"It can't be as bad as you're making out to be Adonis"

"We will see in time"

"Hello Nathan hello" Dethan whispered in my ear while snapping his fingers in front of my face to knock me out of my trace. When did he get here.

"Yes what happened" I asked confused

"You were just staring into space. Are you okay?" He looked worried

"Yeah I'm fine" I assured him just as the teacher walked into class.

Damn was I really so deep in my thoughts that could hear or see when Dethan came in. Let me just focus on my work right now and deal with this later. I took a deep breath then I took out my things for class to begin taking the notes that were being written.

Without a doubt the class was over well that went by fast. I packed up my bag and walked out of class to wait on my brothers since we all have English together right now. We continued downstairs to our next class. As we're going through the halls Mya, Tanya and another guy were walking right pass us this is my chance while here goes nothing. I pass through the middle of the two then slightly brush each one and nothing happened. There goes my luck and the chance of this never ending maze.

We got to class just on time before the bell rings. We took our seats around the table with Liam since we have to continue with this group project.

"Okay class continue with our projects I will be coming around to check every group. And yes we are spending many classes on this because it amounts to 50% of your grade so make it count."

The others resumed with the work while I sit back and think. Why didn't anything happen I was sure it was one of them I just knew so it must be someone else. Now to think of it I'm feeling it again, the person must be in this class but who. Ahh this is so frustrating omg.

"Hey guys so let me see what y'all have come up with." Ms Lovell said then Dethan showed her the book with the notes he took.

"Nice information. How are y'all gonna present the project to the class?" She asked while looking around at everyone. We all had confused looks on our faces.

"Okay just think about it and discuss among yourselves and let me know" then she walked away to the next group.

"Maybe we should do a PowerPoint and read from a piece of paper" Liam suggested. Why does he sound so amusing all of a sudden. Pull yourself together Nathan.

"Are y'all good with that" Dethan asked me and Ethan

"Yh sure" Ethan responded

"Yup"

"Okay good it's settle"

The bell rings for lunch so we all got up and walked outside. As I'm walking I look back to see if I left anything behind and wasn't paying attention to what or who was in front of me. So I mistake and ran into someone then I felt sparks this must my mate. I turned around and was met with the most shocking news.

"Mate" Adonis screamed in my head you got to be kidding me

"Adonis stop joking around" I chuckled

"Mate mate mate" he continue to scream in my head

"Oh hell no" I screamed back.
