"Do you think we will ever have a normal life?" I whispered as I looked at us in the mirror.
I waited as Tyler thought about the question I just asked. "Considering you married a werewolf I don't think your life will ever be normal."
Turning around I stared up into his eyes. "Maybe your right... but what are we going to do about Stacy?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I couldn't sleep. So now I am lying in bed staring at Tyler. The house feels lonely without the kids but I know it's for the best. It was Tyler's idea, a way to keep the kids safe without losing me.
**************************************
"Mommy why do I need to pack a bag, Grandpa and Grandma always has clothes for me at their house." Arabella whined as I told her to pick out a few things she would like.
"Sweetie your Grandma and Grandpa are going to take the grandkids on a vacation." I told her as I continued to help her get packed.
"So Ryan and Drew are coming too?" She smiled up at me.
"Yes baby now please get packed they will be here soon." I instructed her before I left the room.
When I got downstairs I saw Tyler sitting on the couch while Jacob played on the floor. Walking over to the couch I leaned down on Tyler's shoulders. "Do you think we are doing the best thing for them?" I questioned.
Tyler turned to me. "Yes I do. Plus they will have a blast where ever they may be heading."
I nodded. The deal of this was Lisa and Eric was to take the kids somewhere without telling us the exact location. As Eric told us if Stacy really has a witch then she could force us to tell and if they never told us, then we should not be worried about that.
It took a while for Tyler to convince me considering I was about to run away with the two kids just to keep them safe. I would be going but Tyler convinced me that he could protect me but just not the kids and me at the moment.
Hearing a thump come behind me I turned to see Arabella coming down the stairs with three bags full. "Princess where do you think you are going with all those bags?" Tyler held back a laugh as he jumped off the couch to assist Arabella.
"Daddy I wanted to bring my baby dolls then I saw my Barbie's looking sad because I wasn't taking them too, so I did the best thing ever imagine. I put both in my bag." I had to cover my mouth with my hand to cover my laugh now.
"Sweetie what's in the other bag?" Tyler asked as he picked up her three bags.
"Since mommy made me pack clothes I had to put them in there but I also put my blankets and piggy bank or and Miss Tinley." She smiled up as us as if she won the lottery.
Tyler stared at our little girl. "Are you sure you want to take Miss Tinley? She may get lost."
"I'll keep her right with me." Arabella unzipped her bag and pulled out her pink rabbit she has had since she was a baby.
It was Tyler who got it for her. He thought it was suppose to be attached to a blanket but he was very wrong on that assumption. Instead it was this stuff rabbit that had two little white bows in its ears. Arabella use to make me put her hair in pigtails with white bows to match her bunny that somehow got the name Miss Tinley. I think Arabella tried to say Tinselly but couldn't say the 's' at the time and it has just stuck.
"Tyler let her take her; it will remind her of you." I help comfort him because I could see how much this was eating at him.
He nodded but remained quiet. We could hear the car outside. I walked over and picked Jacob up to just embrace him for a few minutes. Now I know how Tyler felt when he believed I was running with them. I just had to keep reminding myself if was for the best and I would see them soon...hopefully.
Tyler had the door open before Lisa and Eric made it to the porch. I was happy that I had talked to Lisa the other day and had time to apologies. Of course she forgave me and blew it off as no big deal but I still felt awful for doing that to her.
"Grandma, Grandpa...I am all packed and ready to go." Arabella ran over to hug them the moment they stepped in the house.
"Well then give Grandpa your bags so we can get going." Lisa hugged her back.
Tyler was the one who handed over the bags. "What did they all pack?" Eric questioned Tyler.
"Let's just say that you won't need to entertain her for a long time." Eric started to laugh as Tyler helped him get the stuff into the SUV.
Lisa turned to me. "I promise I will call you ever day so you can talk to them." She pulled me in for a hug as tears slid down my face.
"I trust you to keep them safe." I mumbled into her shoulder.
I gave Jacob kiss on the forehead. "Mommy loves you." I whispered to him. I gave him one last squeeze before handing him over to Lisa. A smile broke my face when he waved back to me.
Making my way over to Arabella I scooped her into my arms. "Mommy why are you crying?"
"Mommy is going to miss you is all." I set her down on her feet as I knelt before her.
"Don't cry mommy. I won't be gone long." She hugged me.
"I know. I am just going to miss you. I need you to be a big girl for your Grandma and Grandpa. If they need you to do something I expect you to do it." I said as I held her in my arms.
She nodded and I felt her crying. Pulling away I whipped them away. "Don't cry baby, everything is okay."
"I love you mommy."
"I love you too baby girl. Now go tell your daddy bye." She turned around and took off into Tyler's waiting arms. He picked her up and hugged her. I couldn't tell what he told her but I knew she was enjoying it from her giggling.
I stood on the porch with Tyler's arms wrapped around my waist, as we watched the car drive off.
*****************************************
I had no idea what time it was but I do know it has been one week since I last saw my babies. It was killing me, even though I talked to them more than once a day I just wanted to see them. Deciding I couldn't sleep anymore I sat up aiming for the closet.
Wrapping the sheet around me I walked into the closet and looked for something to put on. I was freezing.This is the last time I let Tyler claw me out of my clothes, and to think those were my favorite pajamas. Shaking my head I couldn't help but smile, I loved him so much.
"What are you smiling about?" I could feel his hot chest on my back as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I thought you were asleep?" I turned around to face him.
A smile appeared on his face. "You thought wrong." He finished with a kiss.
"What time is it?" I asked as I pulled away and grabbed my robe.
"A little after 8." He was pouting from where I put my robe on.
"How about I go fix breakfast." I giggled as I tried to walk past him.
A smile broke out on his face. "Or how about we stay in bed!"
"We're not even in bed..."
He had me picked up over his shoulder as he cared me back to the bed. Playfully he tossed me onto it then pinned me down. "I rather have you for breakfast." He started to trail kisses down my neck.
"Tyler..." I was cut off by the phone.
He groaned but I knew he didn't care since we knew it was going to be the kids. I got the phone while Tyler took off downstairs. "Hello."
"Mommy guesses what I got to do..." And just like that I sat for an hour listening to Arabella's story.
"I love you mommy but can I talk to daddy now...?"
"Yes baby one second, and I love you too." Heading down the stairs the smell of food invaded my nostrils. I saw Tyler topless working over the stove as he was grilling up some bacon.
"Your daughter wants to speak to you." I informed him as I held out the phone.
It always made me laugh when she would spend so long talking to me and about 3 minutes on the phone with Tyler. I went over to give him a hug because deep down I know it hurt him a little even though he would never admit to it.
"I love you and she does too."
He looked me in the eyes. "I know she does, and I get it you're her mom. I wish sometime Jacob was old enough to where he would talk to me for sometime on the phone."
"It will be here before you know it." I kissed him on the cheek. "And now we can eat."
I took off to get the plates and silverware. "I am free for the rest of the day if you want to do anything?"
I watched as Tyler put the pancakes and bacon onto our plates. "You don't have a pack meeting or any pack related things today?"
"Nope I'm all yours. I have different patrols set up out looking for Stacy and if they find anything they will inform me, so as for now I am all yours." He grinned at me as he took a bite out of his bacon.
"It's been a long time since we could go out on a date." I smirked back at him.
"I know and I'm sorry. Those weekends when my parents would take the kids I would always let the pack get in the way and I'm..."
"Don't be sorry for being a good leader. Everyone adores you being the Alpha. You are an amazing Alpha. I understand when it comes to the pack, I do Tyler. Sometimes it hurts when we can't have alone time, but don't ever apologies for taking on your responsibilities as Alpha."
Tyler pushed away from the table and walked to me. "I love you so much Emma." He picked me up and stared to kiss all over my face.
I couldn't help but burst out laughing. "Tyler stop...That tickles...Tyler." I kept giggling.
"So what do you say, want to go on a date?" He asked as he kissed me.
After a minute he pulled away. "If you want me to answer you should let me breath." I joked with him.
"But I would love to go on a date with you!" I shrieked out.
"Good." He kissed my lips rougher this time. I wrapped my legs around his waist. "I think breakfast can wait." He whispered against my lips as he laid me down on the couch.
Kissing him back I pulled away for a second. "I can't wait to call Caitlyn and tell her we are finally going out on a date for the first time in like 4 years."
He stared at me in disbelief. "That's what you can't wait for, not our date but to tell Caitlyn?" He teased as he pushed his lips back to mine.
I laughed against his mouth. "How about we talk later."
"Sounds like a plan to me." He went back to trailing kisses down my throat. I felt like we were falling in love all over again.
