9 years later Jayla's pov
Sophomore year of high school. The hell that every teen has to endure. It has been years since I have stoped following Jake and Sam around like a lost pup. I'm better off on my own if I do say so my self. Well even if I don't have friends and keep to my self. I also managed to stop talking unless I really have to and have stayed to my self. At first my parents thought it was cause I was mad at being ditched witch part was true but then they started to think it was a phase and now. Well they can't find a word to say that I have completely dislocated my self from certain emotions or from them. This year is my brothers last year before he leaves with Sam for alpha and beta training. Everyone has been making them so much the center of attention that I have completely lost all interest in what ever they all are hyped about. Besides that everyone was buzzing over jakes birthday that will be a week before they leave and also my brother who will be 18 three days before they leave. They are supper exited as well since they can't stop talking about it. At this point it's really getting annoying and sound like a pare of shrieking air head girls who can't stop gossiping on what they will wear for that day. We'll close it's more of who will be there mate and if they don't find her the fun they will have with the many other slutty she wolfs. Eww grows now that nasty image is in my brain not a nice view either.
-Jakes birthday -
The next few weeks flew by quickly and it was jakes birthday. Every she wolf was excited to be there to see if they would be future luna of this pack or anxious to know who would be there new future luna. As for me I had no choice in weather I wanted to go to the stupid party or not since my brother would be come his beta when Jake takes over we will have to join in more as the beta family or until my brother finds his mate that I hope for comes tonight because I really don't want to be there for his first shift or dinner and party. I was getting dressed reluctantly when my mother walked in to check if I was getting dressed. Tonight the Alpha had a fancy dinner before letting every teen have fun and having the after party. My dress was long and black simple yet elegant giving evil queen vibe witch I loved.

Tonight girls just took over and dressed in there fanciest dresses they could find in hopes to be the next Luna but I got dressed this nice to try and blend out a bit. When I walked down stares my father and brother both happy faces turned quickly in to the over protective males in the family. "Omg guys your supposed to tell her she looks beautiful but since you both are being like this Sam your grounded and hunny you got the couch," my mother said with a smile then walked towards me to give me a quick hug then lead me out to the car to make our way to the pack house. When we got to the pack house all the girls had such colorful dresses and here I was standing out with a black dress standing out like the black sheep of the family. The dinner was going great till Jake looked a bit sick and the Alpha along with my father started to take him out side. "Son don't fight it just try to relax and let your wolf take over," the Alpha said as Jake tried until he finally transformed into his wolf.
A gray Alpha wolf this represented as the second most powerful wolf in our world. The most powerful wolfs were the king and queen wolfs there colors were rear among common wolfs. Usually the king and queen were white or black wolfs but never has it happened where both king and queen have been the same color wolf. As for Jake this was good because it meant that he was going to be a strong wolf and was going to be able to protect his pack. Not long after I was pulled out of my thoughts. Jakeblackwood was staring at me. Then quickly urned his head and left on a run along with all the other wolfs. I told my parents I was not feeling good and they were ok with me going back home. I know we drove here but I told them that the walk might help and the house was only two blocks away. I soon convinced them after I changed my shoes and left my heels in there car and started making my way home. It was a really nice walk as the moon was bright and the stars were twinkling away.

A Broken World [Dropped Pending Rewrite]
This work has been dropped- because I am rewriting it. Look forward to the new and improved "A Broken World," now available HERE on Royal Road! Three thousand years ago, Demonic creatures invaded the world. Though their power seemed irresitable, a band of heroes managed to steal the knowledge of summoning rituals and worlds from them and created, "The Millenial Summoning." A powerful magic that would bring forth a being from another world with the power to change the world forever. The first being summoned became known as "The Speaker," and he brought the power of the Gods with him. Teaching prayers and invocations that blessed humanities legions and began to push back the demons, founding of the "The Church of the Spoken Word" rose to power and a stalemate was reached. Two thousand years ago, that stalemate was broken by the second casting of "The Millenial Summoning," and the arrival of "The First Sorceress," who taught humanity the basics of magic and enchanting. With the power of the Sorceress, the mages, and the priests the tide turned and the Demonic hordes began to be shoved back, signaling hopes of a golden age for mankind. One thousand years ago, the hopes of final victory and a new dawn for mankind were dashed by traitors who slew the participants of the ritual and took their places, using the ritual to bring forth a godlike being from the demons home world, "The Demon King," for no human knew his name, erased millenia of growth reducing humanity to barely a fragment of its former glory. Now the ritual is being cast again, and a new being is being summoned... In our world, after nearly two decades of studious work, Luke Jaeger is making his dream come true. Working and going to school full time, sacrificing his health and social life in his youth, Lucas obtained Doctorates in genetics and virology, as well as associate degrees in business and accounting. Despite the challange of getting his business running, Lucas feels that his work has finally paid off. Lucas's car never left the banks lot, nor was Lucas ever seen again in our world.

As an author, I'd like to interact with my community and get ideas and what I can improve on. I'm not perfect and don't expect a masterpiece. I may have a bit of experience writing as a hobby, I make mistakes and my style is a bit rough around the edges. I hope you stick around and watch me build this story up. I don't have a predetermined schedule and the releases will be slow. Since I got college, my schedule is most likely 1-2 chapters a month but that shouldn't be that bad since I get some time to think about what I can write in the story. Again, my apologies for that. I hope I have your support moving forward and that you enjoy the characters and their journies.
