While Red and Silver were rolling down the ice track, Leonard and the pigs pulled themselves up to the giant ice lever they needed to pull.

“Okay, now what?" Courtney panted as she and Leonard climbed up to the ledge.

Garry knew what to do. “If my calculations are correct, we should be tall enough to reach that lever if all three of us-"

He was cut off when a giant lava ball ran him over and off the track!

“Garry?" Leonard panicked. He and Courtney looked over the track and noticed his skater outfit snagged on something and he was hanging from it. “Uh, hang in there!"

Suddenly, they noticed a lava ball rolling toward them. They ran back to the other side and avoided getting hit. They looked back up to the lever, worried now that they were one piggy short.

“Okay, new plan."

“We need to get to sixty-five miles per hour," Silver explained to Red, and they ran faster. “Left! Right! Left! Right!"

“Hey, at least we're gonna get all our steps in today!" Red laughed nervously.

“Two minutes to launch."

Red and Silver refused to give up. They were running as fast as they could as the ice ball spun down the track.

“We gotta break the superweapon!" Red shouted.

Silver switched on her watch. “Leonard, is the ramp elevated?"

“We're working on it," he replied as he and Courtney tried climbing up to the lever. But they slipped on the ice and fell back down to the track. “What are we gonna do?!"

Courtney noticed her bright pink headphones fell off her head and measured the wire.

“Okay, let's just figure this out," Leonard said to himself, trying not to panic.

“I have an idea!" Courtney said.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, now's not the time, Courtney," Leonard interrupted, not paying attention. “I'm just trying to figure out how we're gonna get to that lever."

While the king pig was distracted, Courtney threw her headphones up and had the cord wrapped around the lever.

“Hey, Leonard!" Courtney said, pointing at the lever.

“Huh? Oh! That could work!"

❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

Silver and Red were getting closer and closer to the launch point, but they still weren't going fast enough.

“Silver! How are we doing on speed?!" Red asked frantically.

“We're maxing out at fifty-nine miles per hour," she explained. “We need to get to sixty-five!"

Leonard finally got to the lever, but he still had trouble raising the ramp.

“It's stuck!" he shouted to Courtney. “We need more weight!"

“Okay, here goes!" she said nervously, and climbed up to the lever. She held onto Leonard's leg and the extra weight helped lower the lever.

“It's moving!" Leonard said as the ramp was raised. Unfortunately, the lever began to crack. It was going to break! “Oh, that's not good."

The lever broke, the ramp lowered back down, Leonard and Courtney fell, and the part of the lever that broke off hit Garry in the face, nearly knocking off his glasses. Fortunately, he was able to keep his grip.

“Sixty-tree, sixty-four..." Silver said to herself. They just needed to get a little faster.

“One minute to launch."

“Silver, the lever is broken!" Leonard alerted.

“Broken?!" Silver couldn't believe it.

“Leonard, come on!" Red pleaded. “Don't you have any gadgets you can use?! We're almost to the ramp!"

“Gadgets? Gadgets!"

“Attention all personnel!" Glenn announced. “Initiating launch sequence!"

“Garry!" Leonard shouted. “Any way you can bring me the gadgets?!"

Holding a backpack in one hoof and onto the ledge of the track with the other, Garry glared at Leonard.

“No, there isn't."

Elsewhere, Chuck was jogging while still drawing eagles on sticky notes when he got a message from Leonard.

“Chuck, I need Garry's backpack!"

“On it!" he said, and ran up the track. “Garry, where are you?!"

“Chuck! Over here!" Garry called out, throwing the backpack up in the air. Chuck caught it and headed for Leonard.

Meanwhile, Red and Silver finally reached their top speed.

“Yes!" Silver said. “We've reached sixty-five miles per hour!"

“Fifteen... Fourteen... Thirteen..."

Chuck was so excited, he accidentally tripped on the backpack and sent it flying!

“Twelve... Eleven... Ten..."

“Leonard, it's now or never!" Silver said into her watch. “Gotta raise that ramp!"

“Nine... Eight... Seven..."

Leonard watched the backpack begin to fall, and noticed the ice ball getting closer and closer.

“Six... Five... Four..."

“Red needs me..." he said to himself. Leonard jumped off the track, grabbed the backpack, landed on the other side, and tossed the Eagle Detector to Courtney, who placed it on the track where the ramp was.

“Three... Two... One."

The ice ball slammed into the Eagle Detector, pushing the button, and it opened up like a spring, throwing the ice ball into the air.

“There's an eeeeeagle nearrrrrbyyyyyy! There'sssss an eeeeeeagle nearrrrrbyyyyy! There'sssss an eeeeeeagle nearrrrrbyyyyy!"

In what seemed like slow motion, Chuck gasped in excitement. Noticing Leonard cheering, Red couldn't resist a smile.

Zeta was ready to stomp on the launch button and fire the lava balls. Suddenly, she looked up and noticed two familiar birds inside of an ice ball, which was about to hit the pressure chamber!

“Nooooooooooooo!"

As Red and Silver hurtled toward the pressure chamber, they braced themselves for impact.

CRASH!

The ice ball shattered as it smacked into the pressure chamber, sending Red and Silver tumbling onto the floor. They looked up, hoping to see the pressure chamber cracked open like a nut... but all it had was a large dent.

Silver was in shock. “It didn't work?"

“I- I don't get it," Red said in disbelief.

“Of course it didn't work!" Zeta laughed. Guards surrounded Silver and Red and pointed ice spears at them. With their wings and hooves in the air, the rest of the team was forced to join them.

“You must really love your little islands to risk your lives trying to save them. Well, guess what? I don't care! Because this right here..." Zeta tapped her heart, “... is ice cold, baby!"

Laughing manically, Zeta raised her foot over the button again.

“No!" Red shouted, reaching out. An eagle blocked her with a spear and glared at her. Leonard grabbed her shoulders to hold her back.

“Zeta! Wait!"

At the rim of the volcano, everyone saw a shadowy figure of a giant eagle flying down. It was Mighty Eagle! The other eagles marveled as he landed on his knee and fist.

“I'm the cause of all this," he admitted. “I ran out on you on our wedding day, and ever since then you've been tormented inside."

Zeta was flabbergasted. “Right now? This is when you choose to do this?"

“So take me, not these islands."

“You have got some flipping nerve!"

“I know!" Mighty Eagle grimaced. “I ripped your heart strings right out."

Red's eyes widened. “That's it! Super String!"

“What?" Silver whispered. Red pointed to the air cannon and Silver understood what she was talking about. Activating her Silver Vision, she made a visual map to stop that launcher. “Okay, I'm seeing it... Yeah!"

“Go ahead, do your worst to me," Mighty Eagle said, groveling in front of his ex. “I deserve it!"

Silver pulled a long piece of Super String from her braids and motioned to Chuck.

Zeta kicked Mighty Eagle away in disgust. “You think this is about you, Ethan?!"

“‘Ethan?'" Leonard said quietly.

“Oh, that is so hilarious, slash, embarrassing, slash, I haven't thought about your fat butt in twenty years!"

“Wait, what?" Mighty Eagle asked.

While Zeta was busy insulting Mighty Eagle, Chuck snagged the piece of Super String and zipped up to the superweapon. Once Red gave him a thumbs up, he wrapped the string around one of the lava balls and tied it to a tube attached to the floor. Silver smiled at her older brother. Zeta got angrier for every “bad" thing she remembered about Mighty Eagle.

“Wait, so you have or you haven't thought about me?" Mighty Eagle was confused.

“News flash, bro!" Zeta shouted. “I am over you, I'm over this place, and I am ready to get that upgrade situation going for me, and my daughter!"

“Hey!" Debbie said. The entire heist crew gasped!

“Well, our daughter," Zeta corrected herself. Debbie gasped, too.

“What?" Mighty Eagle blurted out as everyone in the room gasped one at a time!

“¡Dios mio!" Glenn gasped.

“That's my dad?!" Debbie asked in shock.

“I have a daughter?!" Mighty Eagle exclaimed.

“Yes! You do!" Zeta scolded him. “And I raised her all by myself in this icy wasteland! But now I'm gonna be sippin' pina coladas on those warm, tropical islands, like I deserve to!"

With that, Zeta stomped both her feet on the launch button, and multiple lava-filled ice balls fired out of the launcher!

“Stop!" Mighty Eagle shouted. Suddenly, the lava balls all stopped. Silver's Super String was holding them all up and trying to pull them down.

“Hey, it's working!" Red exclaimed. Unfortunately, their happiness was short-lived. The string was beginning to stretch with the lava balls instead of holding them down. It was gonna break!

“Gotcha!"

At that moment, everyone saw the hatchlings Zoe, Vivi, and Sam-Sam forming a birdy chain and holding onto each end of the string. In a nearby hot-air balloon, three green piglets cheered for them.

“You can do it!" they encouraged. “Hold on to that string!"

“The hatchlings!" Red exclaimed. How did they get up there?

Suddenly, the piglets noticed the hatchlings were getting tired.

“Oh no! They're in trouble!"

Just as the hatchlings let go of each other, the piglets jumped in to help! Together, they formed a birdy-piggy chain that was strong enough to reverse the ice balls' direction!

“Jump!" Vivi shouted as the ice balls flung back into the volcano. The hatchlings and piglets threw themselves back into the hot-air balloon, narrowly escaping falling with the lava balls.

Zeta gasped in shock as the ice balls headed straight for the superweapon. It wouldn't be able to handle that much pressure, and was going to wipe out the entire volcano!

“Everyone, run!" Red screamed. The birds and pigs ran while the eagles flew. Debbie grabbed Zeta's wing, and Mighty Eagle grabbed Debbie's wing as they ran out of the operation room. All of the ice balls crashed into the superweapon, causing the entire volcano to quake and rumble until...

KABOOM!

The entire volcano was wiped out in a hot pink explosion! Those who didn't get out in time were blown out by the force of the explosion.

Through the dust, the birds and pigs looked around to find Eagle Island in ruins. Red and Silver got back up on their feet and smiled at each other.

“We did it!" they said at the same time, hugging.

Red noticed Leonard lying on his back against a rock. As Silver pulled away, she stared at him. Red heard that voice in her head calling her nothing, but it was beginning to fade away. Instead, she began to hear another voice telling her to go to Leonard. Red closed her eyes, and listened. With a loving smile on her face, Red calmly, slowly approached the king pig. Leonard finally got off the rock, but he was too tired to stand. He then noticed Red standing right in front of him. Her eyes had a sparkle in them he hadn't seen before.

“I forgive you," she said softly. Smiling widely, Leonard pulled her in for a warm embrace. As he pressed his cheek against the top of her head, Red rested her head against his chest and listened to his heartbeat slowing down. It was like a song she heard a long time ago.

Getting back on her feet, Zeta went into full freak-out mode.

“Debbie? Where is she? Where's Debbie?!" she called out, scanning the wreckage. “Debbie?"

Zeta froze when she saw Debbie's frozen foot underneath a giant metal plate. The heist crew watched as she slowly approached the area and fell to her knees.

“Debbie, no!" Zeta sobbed. She looked up at the volcano, now completely decimated. “What have I done? Oh, Debbie..."

Suddenly, something began to lift the metal plate. From under it, Mighty Eagle emerged. Underneath him was Debbie, who laid there unconscious. Zeta gasped.

“Are you okay?" Mighty Eagle asked, worried for her. “Sweetie? Honey pie? Love of the last one minute of my life?"

Groaning, Debbie slowly opened her eyes. “Dad?"

“Yes," he answered.

Zeta gasped. Debbie was alive!

“You are so strong!" she said happily. “He saved my life!"

“Oh, Debbie..." Zeta cried happily, holding her daughter close. Mighty Eagle warmly smiled at them.

“Mom, can we keep him? Please?!" Debbie asked, giving her a cheesy grin. Zeta stared at Mighty Eagle and thought about it.

“Wait, wait!" he blurted out. “Before you answer, you should see something."

Underneath his feathers, Mighty Eagle had tattoos that showed his love for Zeta. One said M.E. + Zeta, another was them the day they met, and the one closest to his heart, literally, was the day she proposed to him. On a golden chain, he kept the engagement ring on his neck. Zeta, however, was still unsure. Suddenly, Mighty Eagle began singing out of tune.

I don't want to wait

For our lives to be over

Will it be yes, or will it be

Sooooorryyyyyyy?

While the rest of the team cringed, Zeta let out a chuckle.

“You are so pitiful."
