《The Doll Family》Chapter 14

Night had fallen and Kiara hadn't moved from the bed. She just sat there taking it all in with the dreaded weight of realization that this was real. This wasn't a dream or a fantasy. She was stuck surrounded by 4 killers who could end her life without a second thought. She wanted to break down sobbing and crying and maybe she a few tears and whimpers out but she knew she couldn't sit here feeling sorry for herself. She needed to find a way out. Analyzing her situation she drew together a mental list of what she knew.

- She was in some sort of cabin out in the woods.

- She didn't know how far from camp they were nor did she know if they were near any sort of human civilization.

- There were 4 killers that she knew.

- They're all physically stronger than her.

- Despite the fact that they're all merciless cold blooded killers they seem to care for each other including her.

- She had learned from Delilah that Simon was an odd case even for their type and seemed to have a short temper at times.

- She knew Bella was here, but she doesn't know if she still is now.

- She doesn't know if anyone else is here.

That was all. She couldn't think of anything else. Her glimmer of hope started to fade as she realized nothing there could really help her. Maybe the rest of the family would feel sorry for her and let her go, they seemed somewhat reasonable? No, she doubted they would let her go, and if they did she would probably wind up a corpse.

Kiara clicked her tongue in thought. The slight sting brought her a reminder that she hadn't drank anything for awhile. To add onto that she was also reminded that she hadn't eaten anything or gone to the bathroom. She could probably go without food for a little while longer but she really needed to use the bathroom and some water would be nice too. Problem was she would have to step outside the room to find a bathroom to use. She really didn't want to leave the room in fear of coming across one of the killers or coming across a gruesome scene. She hoped the bathroom was right next door.

She slowly opened the door cringing at the way it loudly creaked. Poking her head into the hallway she was relived to not see anyone. She quickly scurried out, found her way to the bathroom, did her business, and quickly scurried back to the room.

'Safe...', she thought to herself. Well, as safe as she could get for right now.

Simon

He slashed through the girls skin watching as blood leaked everywhere. He took his time making intricate designs along her skin. He hissed when she squirmed again. Dammit, he almost had the perfect look too. Guess he'd have to make a few more cuts to fix it.

Once he was done he opened his lighter and held it under his knife. His father had taught him how to casterize things early on. This helped seal his work as well as kept the victim from fully bleeding out, so they stay alive for just a little bit longer. While he was waiting for the knife to fully heat up his mind wandered back to Kiara. Oh how he would love to carve his name into her. He would even make it look all nice and pretty. But where should it be? On her back? Maybe on an arm or leg? Mmm, what about the chest or better yet her neck? Yeah that seemed like a nice place. Through he was fairly sure Kiara wouldn't enjoy it, and he really didn't want to have to listen to his families' protests. Oh well, maybe a collar with his name on it would suffice.

He switched the lighter off and pressed the knife to Bella's skin. She screamed in pain. Or well, as much as she could, she was gagged after all and her voice seemed pretty weak after screaming for hours. He was surprised and even dare he say impressed that she hadn't passed out from the pain and fear. He didn't expect that kind of strength from a spoiled bratty rich girl. But who was he to complain, he always found the carving process more fun when his victims were still conscious.

Picking up his tools he grabbed Bella and threw her over his shoulder. To be honest he'd rather drag her by her hair but he wanted to rush back. The sun would rise soon and he didn't want to hear his mom nagging him about getting home late, he knew she was already going to nag him about getting so much blood on his clothes.

When he finally got back to the house he eagerly started towards the stairs wanting to see his beloved as soon as possible. He was about to take the first step when he felt something grab the back of his hoodie preventing him from moving on.

"Uh-uh, Simon Dothell you are not going to track blood all over this house." He groaned, it was his mom.

"We burn these down like half the time, why does it even matter.", he whined.

"I refuse to be living in blood stains, I prefer a clean living area. Now give me the girl and go clean yourself up."

Simon sighed but obeyed his mother's wishes and headed to the bathroom with some fresh clothes.

Kiara

For once she almost felt peace as she slowly started drifting off. Unfortunately she would never achieve peace in the land of dreams as a certain someone climbed on top of her. She immediately freaked out. Her brain went into panic mode as she immediately started kicking him in an attempt to throw him off.

"Hey, baby, it's just me. No need to freak out.", he purred.

There was definitely a need to freak out.

"Get off me.", she hissed. Surprised at her own small surge of confidence.

"Mmmm, I don't think I will."

Fine. She allowed her breathing to steady let her panicked kicking come to an end.

"Good girl, see if you just relax- UNGH"

He let out a groan. His hold loosening on her and allowing her to make an escape to the corner of the room. She couldn't believe that worked. He didn't notice at all her raised knee slowly aiming for his weak spot. Her confidence increased a bit but then was instantly lost when she looked back at him.

He had a glare directed solely at her. She felt like a deer in the headlights. Her eyes were wide and her breath had grown shaky. His gaze wanted to make her cower and whimper in fear. He looked like a predator about to strike down it's prey. She was afraid if she even blinked he would attack.

They both stood still, eyes locked on one another. For a mere second she let her eyes leave him and focus on something else. That seemed to have set him off as he jumped at her pinning her against the wall. Her breath hitched as her entire body was shoved against the wall.

'Shit'

His hand came up to her face and grabbed it.

"Don't ever do that again."

Afraid of what he would do if she didn't respond, she simply nodded.

He smiled, "Good." And gave her a quick peck on the lips. He then pulled her back to the bed and started his typical onslaught of questions which he seemed to love asking her. Casually smiling like he hadn't just pounced on her like a predator.

She though back to what his sister had told her earlier. Maybe it was better just to try to keep him happy and not resist too much. This man was entirely unpredictable in both his actions and emotions, and she didn't doubt that he could easily snap her neck like a twig if he didn't get his way. For now, she would be his good girl, until a better opportunity at freedom came along.

A/N:

Not sure where any of this but hey, here's another chapter done. Feel like I'm not writing enough per chapter.... Maybe I'll try to hit 1.8k or maybe 2k?
