Entangled in the past , searching for a silhouette,she was trapped in a castle,

Unique she was , trying to fit in the society's mould was itself a hassle.

Words were her arrows,

Rhyme was her bow,

Together with her celestial form, targetting the hearts in a row.

Dark night it was, broken by the deceit of her own blood, she immersed herself into the blue elixir reflecting the sky,

To free herself was the only motive then, and not pondering her head over 'how' and 'why'.

Woken up by a revitalising kiss, the snow white saw her prince charming,

Emerald orbs pierced the hazelnut ones , his insides were warming.

She looked seraphic, damp hair fanning her shoulder,

A shiny diamond on the nose, her enthralling face made his heart smolder.

But his reverie broke when he knew her name,

Believed her to be someone blinded by wealth and fame.

But the magnetism between them was a slow seductive game,

It was hard to decipher who lost & who won, burning in the sensuous flame.

Intoxicated with love or with opium , it was hard to tell,

Spilling the beans , her lochinvar was the one for whom she fell.

Just like the scottish ballad blended with flute pouring honey in the air ,

In the silvery moonlight , two silhouettes had melted in each other, finding such passion was rare.

His mind dived in the past ,where he had given his heart and body to a stranger,

But the strategy for freedom of his motherland was what he couldn't endanger.

Being a soldier, armed with intelligence and unlicensed weapons,

Each situation and person whom he meets, meticulously he reckons.

Breaking all the shackles , holding his hand , she embarked on a journey,

Didn't care for life or death , only their souls needed to be in harmony.

Separated en route , pining for each other, their hearts grew fonder,

The dangers and blood on the roads was what made him ponder.

He couldn't risk her life , the only dear thing he had ,

He chose to part the ways , fear of losing her turning him mad.

The moment of reunion was marked with blood and tears,

"I can't take you with me ahead." He voiced his fears.

Sheathing her with a blue shawl still imbibing her scent , he gave the game away ,

He was the shadow she was searching , the truth made her knees sway.

He left her on the bank with a heavy heart, the cold emptiness giving him shiver ,

Once again she embraced the blue elixir ,and once again her saviour came , only this time forever.

Lips melting in lips, fingers entwining, they laid on their small dingi boat,

Raimoti had found her lochinvar and satya had found her princess to dote.
